Marv 922 #1 Posted October 2, 2022 Here is what I did to repair the Hood stand where the seat bar attaches. Not being a welder, it does not look pretty. I think it will hold. I made the bracket from bed frame material. You will note that I notched the piece to clear the nut plates on the side panels. When I do the next one on my SK486 I will not cut the notch. Then I will leave space for the side panel to slide between the repair piece and the hood stand (removing the nut plates of course). Drill and tap the repair piece for the shift plate screws. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
