cschannuth 3,816 #16 Posted October 6, 2022 Thanks, everyone. My son is building a house so we spent today working on that.
cschannuth 3,816 #17 Posted October 6, 2022 We worked on my sons house on my birthday and @WHX?? since I didn’t have my 520 loader tractor I had to settle for my farming buddies 135 horse John Deere. It worked OK I guess. That was a 410 pound beam that was built into that wall and luckily it slid in like butter.
WHX?? 48,828 #18 Posted October 6, 2022 Whoa ... way late to this party ... Hope you had a good one Craig. Thinkin the 520 might have struggled with that lift. Did'nt, you say you going to come into possession of a compact?

Did'nt, you say you going to come into possession of a compact? I did get my father-in-law‘s used 1025R but it would only lift about 10 feet off the ground. That wasn’t quite high enough to lift the entire wall up and over onto the foundation. My buddies tractor was able to lift the wall sections 15 feet off the ground and I just felt safer using the big tractor.
