Pullstart 62,905 #1 Posted September 30, 2022 (edited) This box will accompany the tongue of a camper trailer. I need to fab the doors, latches and some mounts for the camper. Of course, I can’t weld on the trailer frame so everything will bolt on. I’ve got one set of hinges drilled and chamfered for plug welds. Gives a respectable finish and is a strong bond. You may wish to clamp it in place and begin welding in the middle first, otherwise the hinge may bend and buckle as it grows from the heat of welding. Pullstart 62,905 #5 Posted October 1, 2022 It’s dark outside and I need some daylight to do planning for the camper side of things. I need to verify mounting position before welding the doors to the box, need to verify clearance on a few things, etc. It’s good to have the TIG machine back up and going.
