What angle of pipe do i need to have to have a exhaust system like this.

The iron pipe looks like a 22-1/2 and a 90 plus the nipples to connect.

The 22½ is a female to female elbow - 45º (edited!)

Also, it'll need a support bracket -- you cannot safely support that from the block only.

That’s the 22-1/2 if I’m looking at it right. Looks like a 3” nipple out of the block, then the 22-1/2, then a 2” nipple into a 90 into another 3” nipple to the muffler. 

Agree on additional support.

Yes it's a 45 degree angle. They only make 45 and 90 degree threaded pipe fittings.

This thread is confusing. Both the 22 1/2 thing and why anyone wants a stack. LoL

The exhaust port coming out of the Kohler engine is at 45 deg, That pipe nipple exiting the exhaust port goes into a 45 deg fitting, Then to a 90 deg fitting to turn it straight up

The angle the pic is taken might be at 22 1/2 deg

Yup 45° +45° =90° If you managed to find a 22 1/2 the pipe would come out at a funky angle towards the front corner of the hood.

Just for completeness sake, the pipe thread is 1" IPS.

 

You can brace to frame as long as it's not a shaker plate.

If you replace the 90 with a 1" X 1/2" X 1" black iron "T" and drill and tap a 1/2" pipe plug for 1/4-20 the brace can be put under the added weight.

Thats what i meant the angle towards the front of the hood i dont want that.

If you want the stack a bit further back you could eliminate the short nipple and F X F 45 and use a 1" black iron Street 45 right off the engine.

Just like the other pic I sent. Just a different tractor and a smaller muffler.
