Gregor 4,846 #1 Posted September 26, 2022 For you shade tree mechanics out there, how can you be sure, if a fuel injected engine, is actually getting any bfuel? Thanks Greg
Handy Don 12,214 #2 Posted September 26, 2022 There must be a tap in the pressure rail somewhere so that, with the right instrument, one could test the pressure. @Pullstart?
Pullstart 62,838 #3 Posted September 26, 2022 There is… and a cheap fuel pressure gauge is cheaper than sending it to a shop for a check.
squonk 41,071 #4 Posted September 27, 2022 All fuel pressure tells you is that you're getting fuel to the engine itself. It doesn't do squat to tell you if the injectors are firing. On the old EFI engines with a distributor, I used to be able to fire the spark and injectors with a soldering gun
