Craig, both Studebaker and Wheel Horse used Shaffer Gear Works to make the gears inside of their transmissions. The Wheel Horse Unidrive had the same quality of gears as the Studebaker truck transmission. Ya' might have ask Linda that question as I always make a comment 'bout that subject during the Wheel Horse Show Parade each year and I'm sure she has heard it..
