Gary S Minnesota 52 #1 Posted September 25, 2022 Hi, I’m looking for a source for missing PTO safety switch(2?) on a 516H I am trying to get running. The wiring diagram appears to show 2 switches that are stacked. Different from my 312-8 Magnum and my 314-8 Command Pro. At this point I don’t know if the Onan will run, but need to get the wiring set up so I can give it a try. Is it possible to by pass the PTO switches temporarily allowing me to engage the starter and check for spark? PO had removed all the wiring behind the dash panel and PTO in order to prime the sheet metal for new paint. He has passed away and and the ignition switch, oil pressure light and volt meter and PTO switches are all missing. I was able to locate the proper ignition switch. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks Gary
daveoman1966 3,762 #2 Posted September 25, 2022 This is the wiring schematic of the 516-H. It depicts 4 safety switches (20) #111332. I probably have those...with the mounting brackets too. Go to the TORO MPV to get the part #s of other switches.https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro

Gary S Minnesota 52 #4 Posted September 25, 2022 Thanks for the responses. I found the mounting bracket for the PTO safety switches, will have to run out to the garage and check to see if there are mounting brackets in the misc. parts box they gave me for the other switches.
