  1. I wanted to jump on here and show y'all my lastest project. A 1960's model 704(mainly, other parts are used that aren't 704) i decided to try what I've wanted to do for a while. I had a bunch of parts lying around from other builds I've done and decided to pull out the frame and hood from the last 704 I built and start putting together my tricycle gear tractor.
  2. This is going to be a slow project probably but I figured I'd start a build thread. I bought a pulling horse and it came with this c-81 for extra parts. Also a kid's puller for my little girl. Homely looking thing missing front tires, and engine. Steering was rusted seized along with pedals and linkages. Extra hood(I don't know what it fits) and back fenders came from the grass next to where it had began to rot into guys yard. Who knows what else its missing but rear end oil is clean and it rolls. This is the wife's tractor. She originally wanted any tractor I could modify and turn into a mini Ford 8N. She has since fell in love with the horse and wants it built as is.
  3. I was lurking around craigslist a while back and found a NEAT big-tired tricycle for my boys for next to nothin. We went and picked it up and it needed all new tires and was looking a little down. (Though the boy was happy!) The front tire was leaking down to nothing about once every ten minutes. So I decided that it needed a bit of work done to it. This is my first experience with powder coating (I had a set of tractor wheels done at the same time) but it turned out real nice. WH Red (I guessed RAL3002, but not sure how it compares to 3003, but it looks like a dead ringer to the mint 48" deck I have) And RAL1013 for the off white. I spent a small (relative) fortune on it between the tires, bearings, and coating, but it should last a good long time for them. I also built a trailer frame and had it and the wheels coated to match so I can make him a dump trailer to tow around. I have to admit, I am a bit jealous of that one!
