Had the day off so I figured I’d get the plow situation set while I wait for mower deck parts. I have the rear tires weighted to 90# ea. The old ag tires are dried out and have some cracks but still hold air tubeless. I have a set of chains but they do a number on the driveways I plow. I see a tire spray that’s supposed to improve traction. Anyone ever try it? Is there something out the to soften old rubber? I the really don’t wanna drop $160 on new tires when these still hold air. 😁 That’s my 4”x3/16” plow edge. It’s a 50” long piece I got from the cut pile at the local steel yard. It was cheap and has lasted a long time. I flipped it for the first time. I may put tubes and fill my fronts with RV antifreeze. I’m also gunna make a downpressure link soon. I haven't used it to plow in about 5 years due to transmission issues that are now solved and some timing adjustments that quelled almost all of my engine knocks.
