  1. A Wheelhorse C-165 8 speed, nice solid tractor everything works and operates as it should, all lights works(stack will be removed before sale)unknown hours it was only an option for the 165, but the 16hp single lung cast iron K series motor starts right up and runs strong. It will need new motor mounts. Transmission shifts smooth, package comes with plow w/optional down pressure bar if you choose instead of your trunnions chain, a set of tire chains, a set of Toro brand front wheel weights and a set of generic rear wheel weights, and lastly a full set of hub caps that are in decent shape they can be cleaned up, $1000 obo. Would like to sell as package but if the right buyer was interested in the right combo of stuff for the right amount of money we could work something out. Pickup only in Millersville PA 17551

    1977 C160 Automatic

1977 C160 Automatic Tractor. This has been my go to tractor for over 30 years. Not a show tractor by any means. Could definitely use a tune up but still runs and mows. Included are original manuals, 2 mowing decks, cab ( which needs all the windows replaced) including the doors and tire chains. Someone modified the plow so it doesn't really fit this tractor. I purchased a larger machine so do not have a need for this. Hydraulic lift is not working. One front tire has a slow leak. Open to offers. Thought I had this sold but it was someone trying to scam me with a phony cashiers check. Please be careful. This is the only site I have this listed so the scammer must be monitoring these ads. Sold the rototiller. So adjusted the price.

    314-8 package (sold)

314-8 In great shape. Used for mowing more than anything. Bought it a few years ago but got a new tractor. I used the blower very little and it sounds like it needs a bearing on it. Runs well. I have new chains I've not put on yet and extra belts.
  4. Here comes the snow!!! 48 inch Front Plow unit - Model #0648bc02. Ready for snow, dirt, gravel, stone or any chore. Pick up Poughkeepsie, NY area -- $290
  5. Had the day off so I figured I’d get the plow situation set while I wait for mower deck parts. I have the rear tires weighted to 90# ea. The old ag tires are dried out and have some cracks but still hold air tubeless. I have a set of chains but they do a number on the driveways I plow. I see a tire spray that’s supposed to improve traction. Anyone ever try it? Is there something out the to soften old rubber? I the really don’t wanna drop $160 on new tires when these still hold air. 😁 That’s my 4”x3/16” plow edge. It’s a 50” long piece I got from the cut pile at the local steel yard. It was cheap and has lasted a long time. I flipped it for the first time. I may put tubes and fill my fronts with RV antifreeze. I’m also gunna make a downpressure link soon. I haven't used it to plow in about 5 years due to transmission issues that are now solved and some timing adjustments that quelled almost all of my engine knocks.

    plows

Question...I have an opportunity to purchase 2 different plows for $60, one i know for sure will work on my 67 T877, but its over an hour away. The other is about 20 min away, not sure if it will fit...Model# 6 3151 Serial# 847575. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you
  7. Fast question ... Per the IPL for the 6-1141 and 6-1131 54" & 56" blades - how is everyone pinning the rear blade lock arms so they can't unlock the blade ? I've ran into problems with this thing before wanting to unlock itself and drop the blade half off the tractor. It seems when back dragging rough pavement, especially if I back into a snow bank the thing is moving those locks out of position and allowing the frame to drop off. The only reason it stays at least somewhat under the D is the lift arm , but getting it back into position is no fun due to the weight of this thing and especially out in the snow/cold weather. Last time I had to drag the thing back to a clear area so I could wrestle it back into position, lift the frame and lock it again. I did wire them shut for now, but don't trust it and I use it to back drag quite a bit on rough areas I don't want to ram the cutting edge against and risk damaging the rear axle differential or anything else. Mine has been rebuilt with a new cutting edge of 1055HC and the frame is highly beefed up - most of it is now boxed in and the thing has gained nearly 50lbs of steel. It cuts great, almost too good but that random dropping it off is starting to irritate me - need some ideas here... The smaller 42" and other frames lock from the other direction - so to speak. The brackets are also drilled to accept large hair pin cotters to keep those locks in place - I see no way the bigger blade frame is designed for that, unless I'm missing something ? Sarge
  8. Hello, I'm looking for a plow blade and snow blower to fit a C-160 or 1973 8hp no name. How can I tell if they will fit my tractors when I see pictures of them? I see a blade not too far from me on craigslist but the seller doesn't know if it will fit either. Here are the pictures. It looks like I would need other parts if it could fit but this is $60 and an hour drive. Anyone know if it would fit and is worth the time and money? I'm in South East Ohio.

    Roadside find

Not a Wheelhorse one but maybe I can make it work? Drivin down the road after we took the family to a ball game I spotted it with a free sign. Wife wasn't happy about putting it the back of the new truck but it fit. Don't think she saw the stroller on top! It's dirty but doesn't look used. I seem to have a bunch of hardware for it too. Has anyone made an off brand blade work? Seems like it could has anyone done it?
