Happy to say I just got my first Wheel Horse. Its an 8 speed c120 Kohler engine and 42" recycler deck. Runs great of course but the manual lift lever that raises the deck isn't working properly. It seems to be the sliding cam (arrow pointing to lower lever where the sliding cam is) isn't engaging with the notch to hold the deck in the lifted position. I can hold the lever to raise the deck about 4" off the ground but when I release the lever it just drops back on the roller wheels of the deck. I sprayed some WD40 in there hoping that it might help but it didn't. Anyone else have this problem before? Do I just need to replace the part or am I missing something? Second question, is the bolt shown in the second picture stock or is it something rigged by a previous owner? Its part of the lifting mechanism for the deck. Thanks for the help!
