Not many WH Tub Carts around Texas, so when this modified one showed up on the Dallas C-List For $50 I decided to go for it one of our N Texas members was kind enough to pick it up and hold if for me until zip had a trip that direction It needs new tires. The rims are solid and may actually be the correct offset for a Suburban. The lifted modification is well done But it could be put back to original with a little grinding and welding the carts rear lip area area was bent and the tap under the center of the lip was used to reinforce it. I would appreciate a picture of how this rear tab under the lip originally looke I’m in the fence on weather I will keep it in its unique “Lifted” construction or return it to original. What would y’all do????

Followed up the Trailblazer 7 purchase with another good CL find. This one is a REALLY good one. Picked up a 68' Raider 12 That came with wheel weights, chains, 48" deck in insanely good condition, and a dump cart with hydraulics! I'm not sure if the cart is an actual Wheel horse, it could be but the tires aren't right. Obviously the hydraulics aren't original. Either way, I paid the equivalent of buying the cart and wheel weights at Fair market value. I couldn't believe it made it past 24 hours. Nice to know I don't have much competition in the area! Couple of questions on the setup of this beast. My buddy thinks it was a pulling tractor. It has the rear wheel hub extensions (which I don't mind at all. Looks slick if you ask me), it also has a modified throttle body which works fantastic and is a thousand times better than the twist-lock cable, it had a homemade steering tensioner at the base of the steering wheel made from a spring and half a coffee can lid to protect the paint, and the footboards have extensions off the front sides. The fella I bought it from got the tractor from his uncle who I'm guessing passed away because he didn't have much info on the tractor at all. He wasn't sure why things were setup like they were. Certainly explains why the deck is pretty much mint. I swear those blades are original. Overall, the thing runs like a top and purs like a kitten with the modified muffler. Will the 48" deck mount up on my attachomatic setup on my 69' Raider? That's the other thing, take a look at this rear. There are no latches. Thanks in advance for any info!

I've been wanting a cart for over a year (since I sold mine stupidly). It was 45 minutes away and paid $75. It was a win to me.

All, This little beauty followed me home and from research here I think it's a LTD 242. I found the manual in the files there, but can't find any other pictures and very little discussion about it. I have all of Martino's books too. Is this model that uncommon or are they just not favored? Thanks, David

Who has a customized/built 'worker' dump cart to show off? I'm hoping if I see some others, I will be get some ideas for my own. I have an old steel dump cart.... it was "custom" made (Frankenstein-ish from many parts) approx 40+ yrs ago, and my dad used it with his old gravely.. later with our 310-8, then later with my ZTR.... May have started life as a Gravely item, IDK. It is just a square cart, approx 3' x 5', x 1' deep... with 1 1/2" square pocket stake pockets in the corners, and a top hinged removable tailgate, 4.80x8 tires. I'll try to add a pic later. I want to restore it to some degree, still gonna be a worker. Want to clean up the rust, paint it WH red, new tires. I will create a removable front and sides that can insert into the stake pockets to increase the capacity for things like leaves and firewood. I'm thinking of PT decking for the side rails. Maybe a spray-in liner material for the inside? My goal is workable, durable, and decent looking!

Just picked up this cart. Not sure if it's a 1955 or 1958 Utility cart.
