500 series dash light decal adhesive question

Anyone got some good tips for reinstalling the decal over the trouble lights on 500 series dash. I have one where the decal came off and thought I would ask before reinstallation. I used Perm-a-tex adhesive on another with poor results. Surface was kind of lumpy and not as nice as factory. I did see a product call decal on, an adhesive made for crafters.
