For those who've rebuilt mower deck spindles, in particular the greaseable style, was the spindle shaft worn enough to need replacement? The bearings and seals for my C-81's deck are available at a reasonable cost. The spindle shaft (107998) lists for nearly $120. While my spindle assemblies aren't loose or noisy, some day they'll need attention. Looking to draw upon your experience whether the spindle shaft is often replaced when rebuilding the spindle assembly.
