Hey TT, in my original post you were asking about my Fairlane. It is a 1966 GTA I purchased about 12 years ago. I always told the wife if I ever came across one, it was coming home with me. It is an original southwestern rust free specimen, original big block 390 FE motor that I have "warmed up" a bit. It has a 428 Police Interceptor intake with a 750 Demon carb, a custom grind solid lifter cam with Erson roller rockers installed in Cobra Jet heads. The trans is the stock C6 with a 2800 rpm stall converter, a 350:1, 9 inch rear end with a Detroit locker posi unit. It is a great car, and it has great manners in the parking lot on cruse night. In the last year and a half it has ha every nut and bolt removed and put on the rotissire to paint the top as well as the bottom I had the intstrument panel restored, I restored the seats myself, I installed new door panels, carpet, arm rests, head liner and interior lights. I also installed a hidden stereo unit in the trunk and have a new set of Ford Magnum 500 wheel's and Cooper Cobra tires ready to be installed when finnished. All the pictures are before the restoration. Before that, it always was a "10 footer".
