What "tool" or "item" do you use to drive the wheel bearing into the case?

I need to put a couple of wheel bearings in my honey's transmission and then put it back together. I tried to drive 1 in by tapping in with a socket but obviously it was not quite big enough and damaged the outer ring. What do you folks use to drive those bearings in? -
Hi everyone i just bout a wheel horse n i have no idea what it is the mod #is 1 0150 6 ser # is 774905 please help. It was repowered at some point with a 8hp briggs n has electric pto not sure if that was on tractor b4 or not.thnx
