No Thread, just messing around with 8 year old grandson in the shop. He comes to the big show with me and ask if we could build one.

Got the steering worked out, needs a different muffler, wide rears and a foot throttle. Might just wait on the foot throttle and let TJ get used to running it around. Not sure on paint. Maybe a rub down or clear shot. Hood is close to rot out so may look for another at next year's show. Just making something out of nothing.

I really like the dozer blade. I’ve have had mine for 38 years. I bought my 310-8 new in the spring of 1986. I have used the dozer blade to level dirt too. I was amazed at how well it worked. There are some videos on YouTube of guys moving piles of dirt with a Wheel Horse and a dozer blade. Have fun with your Wheel Horse.

Bench mount grinder wire wheel. Then tumbled it all in a chem bath and wire wheeled again. Not too bad for original 67yr old hardware.

They are the manure spreader tires. Not my first choice in size but hard to find. I’ll have to look again. Little shorter than what should be on

ED looks good , like the clean and used stature of it , is that an oil slick finish on that ? that hood has the oiled sheen ,look , regularly wipe my horses down with a penetrating oil clean cloth , keeps the paint alive , pete

I wish they did . The fenders and toolbox aren't original to the tractor. Had to do some hunting to find a set.

Rebuilt engine (bored 10 over... 46 years of mowing/plowing), replaced trans seals/oil, powder coated rims (local shop), new shoes all around, new clutch pulley, trans input pulley/key, new brake pad, reshaped hood from collisions through the years, new points and battery. I didn't take it completely apart to clean, but 90%+ was). Things I haven't done: steering tear down (works fine, just regreased), mule drive teardown/clean/inspect (may do that soon), attach-a-matic teardown/clean/inspect (may do that soon, too). Currently working on mower deck (couple of small cracks to weld, missing small chunk to fix, rusty (might just do a oil bath on top, but should probably under coat it). I've tried to keep it as original as I could, but there are some changes (seat, trans input pulley, tires). Except for the tires, I still have all of the original parts that maybe I can fix up and re-use later on

Very cute. Now, may I have my shoes back, please?

absolutely! SO, I took a transmission pulley of a unidrive, and put it on the peerless transmission. And, I took the pulley off the peerless and put it on the engine, as you see. It is FREAKY fast... BLOW you hat off your head... Don

What a waste of color and manpower. I guess that's what they mean when said, " Each to his Own".
