I am selling my beloved worker. It started life as a 522xi and had a transplant with a Kohler 25HP EFI engine (was purchased new in crate). Engine has 195 hours, tractor has 1000 hours. For asking price I will include full package with 48" deck and snow plow. My plan was to collect parts for this and someday do a complete rebuild with a paint job. This tractor worked so well, I just accumulated parts and never needed to do a rebuild. Now my general direction has changed and I need to keep my old Wheel horses and this one needs to move on. It was in service up until the last few weeks, it runs and drives amazing!
Package Includes:
Kohler 25HP EFI engine with oil cooler on the side of the shroud. Keep the oil way cooler than the original 22hp ever did. Hour meter under hood was installed with new engine. (This here is worth a large part of the price).
headlights were separated from the key switch to a separate switch. LED headlights and taillights
n1defan (Tom's) 2": receiver hitch, VERY stout. He also built a suitcase weight bracket for this hitch and I will include that.
XI 48" snow plow
Has larger battery installed, so the grill and battery hold down don't fit, but are included in case you want to switch back to a standard L&G battery.
new billet PTO and a new engine to deck belt were installed this year.
12V light is on; there is a module that commonly fails on these, but it is charging well.
Has Kenda K502 tires on the back and Vredestein V61 tires up front. Truly an amazing combination on these tractors
Bolens 50lbs weights in each rear wheel
I have original footpads to go back on as well.
Cruise control linkages were removed and smart steer has been deleted.
Spare Parts
Entire transmission and power steering setup from a low hour part out (less than 300 hours) Lug bolt kit shown, not included.
spare axles (the current ones are slightly grooved and seep oil, got these before I found the low hour replacement)
spare hubs
spare tie rod and ends
spare mid-mount lift carrier assembly
spare dash with clear cover
spare headlight assembly
spare spindles
48" deck belt guards and deflector (not shown)
enough parts to rebuild a 48" deck (near perfect shell, and all the parts gathered from parting several other machines out) (not pictured)
one grill in great shape, one grill with slight cracking
spare trip springs for plow assembly
spare cup holder (current one has worn markings, new one looks amazing)

1965 W/Horse model 1054A that I planned to restore, but I have too many Horses and not enough time (and energy) to do it, so I decided to let some of my tractors go. I believe I have everything for the 1054A, including extras. The one thing missing was the original 10hp Kohler with the starter/generator. Gone before I bought the tractor. It did have a later model 10hp Kohler with 12v starter and built-in flywheel stator. Previous owner said the 10hp motor smoked and I’ve never started it. I pulled it and replaced it with an old 16hp Kohler I had (high hours, runs good) and I added a voltage regulator. Fuel tank is good. Hydraulic pump worked when I parked it. I think the wiring is original. Tractor has been in my storage barn many years. Fired right up to take pics. Included: “2 mower decks, one good deck & one rusty parts deck (no holes)”; “42inch snow blade”; “2 sets of rear tires & wheels”: “new replacement headlight lenses”; “new PTO clutch disc lining”; Both Kohler engines go with it and all the extra parts. Everything has been in dry storage since I got it. Local pick-up only. Cash & carry! Just west of Cincinnati Ohio. I believe I have it priced very low for an easy sale. Bill
