These engines use 2 threaded holes on the bottom of the oil pan to secure the right side of the engine while the left used the tabs all big block Kohler's of Wheelhorse I've seen are like this from 60's to late 90's I thought the same thing when I first bought my first Wheelhorse took be untill I removed the engine to rebuild it to realize they have 2 bolts under to secure

I’m sure pictures would help with that sale. Sounds like quite the haul!

OK no extra charge for the fine patina. My last one you better hope I don't need this for a project. Check the package 'cause I gotta push it in a hole. The package is already sealed and was supposed to go out yesterday but RJG forgot to go to the post office...

I’ve got the same center cap for my 92 312. It must be a Toro era 300/4/5 thing.

That is a 1969 GT-14, may get a bit more attention if you change the title of your ad. Get it running and driving and you may be able to find a buyer at $ 1,000 or so but as a non running unit without any idea if the hydro transmission is strong you are looking at a couple hundred.in my opinion.

Unfortunately the 5.50 width seems to be nonexistent in any style of new tires. Only widths that we seem to have left for 8" rims is 400/4.80 or 6.50.

Be advised the original fronts are NLA not to say someone may have some on their tire pile or a blind outhouse flea market find. The ones above are as close as it gets.

    Like these?? https://www.millertire.com/4-80-8-rubber-master-stud-4-ply-tire/

More information would be a big help in finding a buyer. A couple of good pictures as well as the model number of the tractor and a description of the mower deck. Mention any other implements or accessories, too.
  11. 3 points
This 312-8 tractor is a 1985 model 21-12K801. Kohler made the engine in 1984 and the 47812 spec number was used in 1985 only.

I have a pair Bob. Need cleaning out and maybe new zerks but they are in good shape

If we get a sell on an individual piece, if seller agrees, I could potentially transport to the Big Show for pick up… and “if” I have room. I can’t pack like @Pullstart, 🤣
  14. 3 points
If you are I will give you slightly more than Dan 🤣🤣🤣

I was looking for a specific part from the Briggs 16. All set now! Thanks Chris!

Heaven forbid a flower pot would have to be left outside!

Pay the man the $30 and I’ll pick it up at the show? I’ll take the frame off your hands so you don’t have to make space for it

Shout out & thanks Ed! The snowblower is great. Bring on the lake effect snow storms

I'll continue what I'm trying but it's a slim chance. Don't put a lot into what you were told about the 10 pinions failing. It's true that the 8 pinion diffs are a bit tougher but not enough to really consider. Maybe only on built up pulling tractors. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

had a 36 rd on a C165 --- wish i still had it - - terrific little mower - - makes great cut on lawn -- I just got another old 36 that i have stripped down -- about to go to sandblaster to clean off rust then needs 2 new spindles - - then prime and paint - - they seem to be hard to find -- especially without rust holes in shells

I may have one too. Ya know Squonky you can make one easily enough if you know the length. I'm sure you have z bend pliers. I think I used wire from a throttle cable. Lemme know if Randy bones ya I'll slip it in the t shirt package.

As always, Red Square crew comes through. I now have hitches lined up for the 2 tractors that need them. Thanks @davidtmercer and @ebinmaine!

The center pin presses out. I just did one on my 551. @76c12091520h K & B horse parts sells new Heavy duty pullies that are excellent!

What kind of thread pattern are you looking for? That does seem a little high but not for some styles like Firestone 23 ags. Tire prices have skyrocketed in recent years. I don't think I've ever saw or shopped for them in the 9.50 flavor but here's a set. Mainly 8.5 and 10.5. are most common which you should be able to easily run. https://www.millertire.com/23x9-50-12-rubber-master-turf-4-ply-tire/ Hers a set of Dees in 8.5 ags affordable & free ship. Probably not much more in 10.5 https://www.ebay.com/itm/353061325940?_skw=23+8.50+12+tire&epid=9073595196&itmmeta=01K5J87Y1AXD0KF3Q0P8FVVB4K&hash=item5234184c74:g:UpwAAeSw0o5n6opR&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1d11yFgEzj4aj%2Blqc0ua%2Bjo4wxH%2FcDHuLeHYfDTvJ%2BewObf40j8b9P%2BBHvd94betbqiJxSJpZ%2FaZU3yHSk6Y%2B9%2F58ydz4YPWMOWdweFdE%2BpQz6snT5HlCLlUP4Cn8uglQWe56O8kZRP4eGmiZNaQ4NRKWj1%2F6%2Fyx6W7h%2BvkbL9LYjt7bA2pBQOS0afqUsSXyZzsj9bUTi0tOETirNPwZ8RzSQXOBXF%2F6SdqGrbHhMv%2BtQZlkig5Tf20QMx0BKZUHBJDT67kOmhENnga4bKBZaYaKrngHXHIKh61rLphlPzVug%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMuOGfyKxm

Thanks, Gary. Are you interested in a copy of the 1974 parts manual for the 42" and 48" side-discharge mower decks? (5-1011-42" 5-1211-48")? I would gladly scan and forward them if they would be helpful.

Not sure what your budget is, but the Brinly box blades are still in production and sold online and in some local stores. Lowes, Northern Tool, and TSC still carry them online. Lowes sometimes has them in local stock. Price range is between $250-300. You may find better options if you dig around for them.

I don’t see the hydraulic pump. Might still be on the tractor.
