These engines use 2 threaded holes on the bottom of the oil pan to secure the right side of the engine while the left used the tabs all big block Kohler's of Wheelhorse I've seen are like this from 60's to late 90's I thought the same thing when I first bought my first Wheelhorse took be untill I removed the engine to rebuild it to realize they have 2 bolts under to secure
