First is a true mutt. So many different models it's hard to remember all the donors. Second used to be a 310-8. All sorts of changes there too.

My 1984 C-145 and I’m pretty sure next to it is my 1986 310-8 that I recently sold.

My 1st Wheel Horse C105. It was 3 miles from my house. It was a great working tractor. I sold it l because I need a hydro especially for the snowblower lift & I need a 2stage snowblower. Local Amish guy bought it.

Funny how we went from dirty points on a K-321... So I may as well chime in. The wife just got a 2024 Subaru Outback with so much electronic/computer stuff that we are beginning to think that we may have made a mistake. They talk about being distracted with cell phones while driving, but you cannot operate anything on this car without going to the big touch screen in the middle of the dash. Each touch sensitive icon drills down to another whole screen, and on and on. I tried to change the temperature on the heat and while trying to touch the correct icon, my finger is bouncing all over the screen. The driver attention warning system starts screaming at me to keep my eyes on the road and my hands on the wheel. Augh! Thank goodness there are no such distractions on my little 857.

My C-101 which is actually a C-121 now. Owned for 28 years. I have since removed that flimsy ball mount and replaced with one of Lowell's heavy duty pieces. What a work horse!

the hip therapy , has been very effective , spot on for foundational function . tracking , therapists are very sharp on any issue , and regularly , get you on an eyes closed , balance / muscle function , balance bar set up, guaranteed to expose more . they also liked my nap after any related walking movement , response . usually walk a vacant parking lot , that makes for a safe place to walk , when I started doing that , my almost immediate feeling was sleep , so thats a regular thing for me , nap is a knock out , body response is telling you that , also doing a lot of stair climbing , told me I was weeks ahead of regular , work , staying at it , pete

My 2011 ridgeline has auto temp controls with dual zones. You turn a rotating knob to adjust the temps. We went to my sister's house for Christmas. My son is bigger than me is in the passenger seat. My wife who is as tall as me is in the back so he adjusts the seat so she has room. I'm driving along and thinking it's getting HOT IN HERE! I look at the temperature readout and his side is set to 90° ! Turns out his knee was bumping the dial and turning it up!

Yup. Touch screens are not that helpful when driving. I kind of miss the old Boden cable controlled automotive HVAC systems. You could use those while driving by feel. We picked up a '22 Pacifica mini van this year. Nice vehicle, highly optioned. I like the back up camera, blind spot monitors, and cross traffic sensor. Not sure about the rest of the gizmos. I haven't had the guts to try the automatic parking system. I do get a chuckle at the parking assist proximity sensors when using the drive through at the bank - flashing lights, bells and buzzers all screaming "WE ARE GOING TO DIE!"

Junk parts are not an entirely new deal. My parents bought a new 1965 Dodge and as the upstate New York late autumn morning temperatures started going below freezing the car exhibited a rather strange little quirk. None of the accessories would work until the engine had warmed up for several minutes. No heater motor, no windshield wipers, no radio, then suddenly they all worked. Dad took it to the dealership where he bought it and they said they had no idea why this could have been happening. I was in the Navy at the time and went to our on-base auto shop to look at the wiring diagram. Sure enough all of these parts were protected by a circuit breaker. It was obvious to me that the bimetallic strip of the breaker was inserted backward and would open when cold. God forbid that a short should occur because excess current flow would cause it to hold closed rather than open. Armed with this information Dad went back to the dealership and the were totally clueless about what I had told him. A few weeks later I was home for Thanksgiving and took the car in and gave the service manager a bit of electrical education. They were still clueless and there were probably thousands of garage kept or southern cars with faulty circuit breakers out there, but they replaced the part and at least my parent's car wasn't one of them any more.

2020 Honda CRV you have to use the screen for many functions...PA is not know for smooth roads how many times I have reached for the screen to do something hit a bump and did something entirely different. Then try to get back to what you wanted...talk about distracted driving....

I got a pack of beef jerky! We're in the same boat as Dino ... no more things we don't use. Got her this along with some lobster tails...sadly had to sell a 856 to afford it tho ... Needless to say I had to help her out with it ... Thought @Achto was coming over so left it mooing when done. Felt so bad about the 856 had to buy myself these ...

We lost one of our dogs in September. I've not been handling it to well. My wife got this statue at the thrift store she works at. Didn't come with the bench. The day after she got the statue the bench showed up. They were made for each other. A coat of poly on the bench and it will go on our porch.

Every year for the last 5 years I have put a battery-powered screwdriver on my Christmas list, but 5 years in a row, Santa has not delivered. I guess I'll return those ghost pepper flavored K-cups and just go buy my screwdriver.

Jim called me one day after my Heart attack and we talked for almost an hour. Seemed like every time he went to the doc he called me for advice on hospital stays, nurses, docs ect. Once for his birthday I found this plaque in the pharmacy. Something about stuff running down his leg when he laughed or whatever. I had to buy it for him but I needed a box so I could ship it. Needed a shipping tube so I went to the materials management room at the hospital and found a long thin box for catheter's. Perfect! . I wrapped it up and sent it with instructions not to open it until we were on Skype as I wanted to see his face when he saw the box! But the best was me, Duke, Jim, Koen ( @C-101plowerpower ) and the Dino were on skype one night talking college football. Jim sat at his desk in one of those old metal swivel desk chairs with the big honking spring so the seat would recline back. He had headphones on. Koen blurts out "Michigan Sucks!" and Duke went ballistic. Jim laughed so hard he leaned back and the chair tipped over and the headphones went flying. He completely disappeared from the screen!

I'm slowly making progress on the model railroad. This afternoon, while piddling around, I found a sign that I had made for the train warning my little plastic people to be aware of bears. I hope they heed the warning! That posted near the gold mine shack.

Working on the 312-8 sheet metal at a slower pace. Hope to have it ready to paint if I find any weather warm enough. I go down to the basement and work on it for an hour or two. sanded all the rust off couple of weeks ago, trying to smooth up the top side a little. It's never going to be a show piece, but it's a good solid mechanical tractor.

Tie rods ready to assemble. These are 7/16 Heim joints and rod for extra strength (and because I had the parts here already). The spindles and lower steering shaft were drilled to 7/16. Tie rods assembled and ready to install. Left tie rod bolted to lower steering shaft. Both tie rods bolted to lower steering shaft. Left tie rod installed. Right tie rod installed. Pin in upper steering shaft to verify steering wheel mounting hole is straight up. Preliminary alignment complete. Both tie rods installed. Here you can see where I bent the plate on the lower steering shaft back a bit for clearance. Wheel Horse did this with the swept 520 as well to clear the larger tie rods. Front end complete minus wheels and tires.

My uncle once had a train set in his upstairs bonus room that was massive. About 12 feet wide and more than 25 feet long. Supposedly had over 200 different HO scale trains/ or working models in it. Mountains, tunnels, rivers, and even a few airplanes suspended from the ceiling. I have no idea how someone has the patience for something that large. It was amazing to see it all lit up and running!

We are kind of in the "Give Me a 12 Yard Dumpster" for Christmas anymore. So, we do gifts you have to use and can't store. So, My Very Marry Christmas consisted of a Huge Basket of Christmas Spirits...a bottle of 12 year old Singleton Single Malt Scotch, a fifth of Mercantile Vodka (made in the USA), a 1.75 L bottle of Kahlu'a...this should last until next Christmas, An Excellent bottle of Authentic Blue Agave Tequila Silver Patro'n and an assortment (6) 14oz of selected Venison/Pork Salami's from John's meat market in Illinois and Stone Ridge meats Wisconsin. Top Shelf...life is good !! I did get one of those grabber thingys so I can go out and pick up the morning paper without bending over. This is the most useful thing and I needed it. We did get an assortment of gorme' popcorn and Da Bears are playing tonight (Thursday), but we decided not to waste is.

Bent jackshaft from drive pulley to chain drive sprocket? Damaged pulley? Loose bearing on jackshaft or augur shaft? I’d experiment with different throttle settings to see if there is a resonant frequency--that may help you see where it’s happening.

Some vibration would be expected lots of spinning parts . Check to see if the belt is on the correct pulley on the PTO . It should be on the smaller drive pulley. If it is on the larger drive it will spin faster and could vibrate more.

A few other years mixed in. The first one is more recent of my 76 but the others were taken late 70's-early 80"s. Some of the 76 before it became a 'B'160 and as it was off Chandlers salesfloor.

i have some old wh literature. wh recommends 16hp minimum for a 2 stage blower. pushing snow and blowing snow is not the same. when pushing, you are not using the pto. of course the 310-8 will turn the blower but, it might take a looong time to clear your driveway.
