1961 701 for sale complete and original w/ mower deck. Runs but needs TLC.

Don't know much of anything on the history of this tractor. We flipped a house and this was abandoned in a shed. I have not started it and have not seen it run. I just pushed it into the truck and brought it home. Please let me know what questions you have or if you'd like more pictures. Thank you for looking.

I had to repower this tractor with a 12 hp I had on the shelf as the original 14 hp has a sticky valve. Original engine goes with. 12 hp runs nice but needs exhaust. Mechanically sound. New drive belt. Gas tank has been cleaned with new fuel lines. Added a starter solenoid to take the high amperage draw out of the ignition switch (it can removed if you are going to restore it). OK tires with tubes. They do hold air with good tread. Need a steering wheel. Hydraulic lift that works as should. Might need one hose. Sheet metal is in good shape. Decent battery. Comes with a plow and good rotary assembly. Seat is typical for age.
