6 pointsI spent some time cleaning up my shop from months of "lay down n go" so I could have room to work on the dump truck build. I did a rough layout and next step is seating area. That will determine overall length and wheel base.

4 pointsSteering wheel on. New roll pin in. Wheel seals in. I use an old hub as a "driver".. Keeps the seals square and drives them right in with minimal effort. My audience this morning.

-
4 pointsSame wheelbase idea as our farm truck. Makes me think if I ever hit the big times, should I buy a cab and chassis Duramax truck and build my own bed out of two new take offs?

4 pointsI had some spare automatic transmission fluid out of the jug, from soaking auto transmission clutches. I pressure washed the underside of the deck, let it dry in the sun, then soaked it good, and let it bake into the deck for the day.

4 pointsIt's a great time. Folks coming out from Ohio and NY this year! Bring the Other Half and enjoy. There's trails to ride. Lots of machines to see. Bunch of food. You'll have to tolerate me but get to meet Trina.

4 pointsThe plow with the recently flipped cutting edge is now with the rest of its family … awaiting snow ❄️
-
3 pointsActually that's not totally true.....having a real tussle getting the pin out of the steering wheel shaft @Pullstart provided for me.... But given its a freebee I cant complain. Tried beating it out, drilling it out (broke 2 drill bits), going to fabricate a small 4 ton hydraulic press next...I'll get that sucker out yet!

3 pointsBoth hubs came off just fine. Almost no resistance from the right side. Minimal effort required for the left side. All four seals removed. One axle cleaned up. Seals ready for installation after cleaning is finished.

3 pointsI see the same Subaru vehicle parked taking up TWO adjacent spaces at the Market a lot. An Engineer I used to work with always had a dozen or so 18" Zip Ties in his car. He would wait for "The Entitled One"like this guy to leave to go into the store and then my friend would Zip Tie a shopping cart to each of the 4 door handles, snap off a thumbs up selfie & leave.... Parking Etiquete 102.

3 pointsFor oil replacment, you need to see what oil you have in there. If your old oil is red, ATF. If it is golden, 10W-30. You want to use the same kind of oil that is in there.

3 pointsI've parked there, I was a Pro at my job, none better You know the sign doesn't say what kind of Pro...
-
3 pointsI once briefly entertained trying to politely suggest that he park somewhere less in the way. My sane self reminded my impulsive self that I could not count on the driver being willing to entertain suggestions or even being unarmed.

3 points@Condor Here's a few pics of the puller setup I use. This is a home shop made piece. (Not my build). These are 7/16-20 x 3" grade 8 bolts. I put 7/16 lugnuts and washers on to help spread the pulling strain/pressure.

3 pointsYes thank you for sharing the pics they are great the 8ten wheelhorse spindles have been out a couple years i was a dealer for them when the brand just took off i am no longer a dealer but i like all there products spindles, blades, belts, ect and they are a great price and the best thing is they are made out off better aluminum than the wheelhorse ones so they wont be corroded away over the years like the wheelhorse ones do.

3 pointsWith one of those I wouldn't need a trailer, but I would need a football field to turn it around. parallel parking it would be fun too.

3 pointsHere’s one that’ll make a man smile @stevasaurus! We made it home safe from Symco today and drove straight to Grandma’s (95) and Grandpa’s (85) birthday party. Mrs. P’s cousin had her son Gordon there. Well he heard I have tractors with me and couldn’t leave without a ride.

2 pointsTinkered with the B-110 this afternoon a bit. Checked the compression, was OK, but not excellent, put a new spark plug in, no spark in either key position. Pulled the points cover. Gap looked OK, but pulling the corner of a $5 bill through them severely defaced that particular piece of government property. A shot of contact cleaner and an other pass with the $5 bill had them looking a whole lot better. Cranked it over again, no spark. Cranked it over with the key in the other position, fired once, weakly. Put another shot of carb cleaner in the carb, and it (haven't determined the gender of this tractor, yet) fired up and ran for about 5 seconds. Sounded good, and I didn't hear any scary mechanical noises. Next steps - new battery, fuel line, and filter from NAPA, carb kit from the local B&S dealer, disassemble to get the gas tank out for cleaning. Probably optomistic, but I might have it running and driving by next weekend - not sure what kind of spare time I'll have. Need to decide what to do with the front diamond tread tires. They are in pretty good condition for being around 50 years old. Use them, or pass them on to somebody doing a restoration?

2 pointsThat’s a new one. EB certainly brings out the “fertilizer” in these conversations Of course. I don’t have any room to comment on the weld “Burn them in hot and deep so it doesn’t matter what they look like on top”
-
2 pointsIf the belt guide on the idler pulley is adjustable, it may be out of position. Or I have seen the belts incorrectly installed under the stationary belt stop tab.
-
2 pointsHappy Borned on Day, Kevin Are you wishing for a new pair of flip flops this year?
-
2 pointsthe lift blade has that lift piece to create the air circulation and air flow to elevate the grass as well as create the air thrust to propel the grass up the chute to the bagger
-
2 pointsMaybe, I did save the calendar date reminder that was on here, on my phone. Besides the guy I bought my plow from I haven’t met any other Wheel Horse enthusiasts except for the group on here. It was more the paint looked good so I thought I’d finish it off visually.
-
2 pointsYeah he do. Mike HAD TO get an 867 after he saw Trina's.

2 pointsBeing a gear here's a few things to check. 1. The drive idler could effect belt slippage, so check that the drive idler pulley bearings are good, idler spring is working and not stretched out, oil the idler pivot points to insure free/smooth movement of the idler arm. you have to remove the belt guard to do this. I would put it up on jack stands to test running it and looking for belt slippage. Just a reminder, the gears in these transmissions are not synchronized so they will not shift smooth (gears grind) shift if the belt is turning the transmission. The belt guard helps to "slack the belt to help it stop moving" when you step on the clutch. 2. Check that the engine and transmission pulley keys are in place and mounting set screws are tight so pulleys are not slipping. you can do this by marling a line across the end of the shaft/pulley to help you see if pulley is loose. 3. Check that the axle hub is not slipping on the shaft and the hub locking bolts are tight. just like the pulleys, mark a line across the end of the axle/hub to took for slippage (tractor tires need to be on the ground for this test. 4. If all of this checks out, start drinking while mowing and you won't notice the slowing down.
