Just a few. For some reason a few pics somehow "disappeared " from my phone. I know I had a better pic of @formariz and 1 of @Tractorhead. Phone's gettin old like me! They were running a "Waldo Special" at the Sheetz station in Mansfield! Horse mask Jay looking out wanting a ride on the train. I had a guy cracking up at the hotel with this thing! @elcamino/wheelhorse really missed out on this BBQ adventure Thurs. night. Went to Gettysburg to the Borough BBQ. What a madhouse that town is. No place to park. A church group had rented out the main restaurant. No sign on the door saying so. Girl says we cant come in but we can sit "next door" but we had to wait. @Lane Ranger comes in behind up with a group and he gets things rollin! Finally sit down in this giant room with a zillion tables , skee ball, basket ball pool and shuffle board and air hockey tables ,bar ect. Pictures don't do it justice. Then the church group decides the bar on there side isn't big enough so they invade the other side. food was good but what a zoo. Then when we left I got a parking ticket after putting all the change I had into the meter! I think it ran out before we even got our food. Now I know why I don't stay in Gettysburg and won't be goin back. They let all the "Animals" in at the WH Show! Richard's EV. This thing Slaps! Came in handy! Every time I drove it somebody stopped me. How many batteries? How long does it run! And yes you can haul a transmission in an Electric Vehicle! Much thanks to Cas for the K 90 My goal was to get this engine-less 551 running and driving at the show.Much thanks to @Tractorhead for the eye lining up the pulley. @rjg854 for Kabitzin around and finding a 31" belt and @wallfish for his belt guide expertise! Finally our entry into the @Pullhosen’s Pony Express Heavy Hauler Contest . Here's @rjg854 strapping down @953 nut's A60 electric mower, it's deck. the little cart, a tiller, a 12" plow, and an 8 speed trans all for @JPWH into the back of Richards Dakota. Also thanks to @Handy Don for the extra hands. Interior shot.

For the past twenty six years you have been presenting the best gathering of Wheel Horse enthusiasts in the world. Your show has become a family reunion for many of us, we aren't related by birth but have become a family thanks to your tireless efforts. The fact that several hundred of us came together in spite of sweltering heat speaks for itself. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Trina's daughter had a baby boy today!! His name is Jaxon. Trina's been at the birthing place since yesterday evening. I'm told both new mom and new kid are doing well.

Bought this seat at the show for one dollar figuring I would try my hand at upholstery work. Turns out upholstery is super easy!! Bought it to put on my “beat up” 414-8 and to save the minty-mint high back WH logo seat.

There's a good woman! She mowing the yard and I'm sitting in shop drinking iced tea! Not only can she mow, she came with her own boat and cleans fish as well. It could be I have embellished a bet but she's still a good woman!

The 2024 Wheel Horse Show parade broke the record at 3 hours and 5 minutes! Now think about this add another 55 minutes and that would be the length of time it takes me to drive from Richmond, VA to Arendtsville, PA !

Thanks to Jim @WHX?? and Dan @Achto who wrangled this little horse for me and for doing farrier duty putting new shoes on it, then transporting it to @Pullstart's plow Day and mike @Mike'sHorseBarn who delivered it to the Big Show and Mike @squonk and Randy @rjg854 and Don @Handy Don who loaded this little hose into my truck it is now home in my garage.

Mike, I can't thank you @squonk and Randy @rjg854 and Don @Handy Don enough for the time you spent with me stuffing ten pounds into a five pound sack. Everything was still in the truck when I got home, y'all done goooood! The A-60 electric is now in the garage at home and @Sailman and @JPWH will be seeing me shortly to claim their respective parts of the puzzle.

The most important thing is that the seat is shaded so that you don't get burns on your butt. Seat time is no fun with blisters.

Big Thanks here too! Thanks to @rjg854 for the hood, @Pullstart for the steering wheel and extra BIG THANKS to @953 nut for scoring the belt guard and bringing it down to Georgia for me! Pretty impressive bunch of folks here on Red Square to jump right in and help out a fellow like this! . Now my C-120 won't look so ANGRY!!

After a few years away from Horses, we put a deposit on one for me and my wife got herself this freshly redone 1990 520H with low hours. Can with an unrestored 46" side dischange deck. Need to weld in a patch or two, then give it a quick respray. This one will be back use only, mostly for show/butt buggy use and at plow days(I have bar tires for the rear once I repaint the rims). The paint isnt fully cured yet so I will sun bake it a couple days this week. He used genuine Toro/WH rattle cans @ $19 per can to paint it and did take the whole tractor apart down to a bare frame, did some resealing on the engine, only needs the valve adjustments done. I will do that one day this week. I will pick up my low hour 50th aniv year 416H tomorrow, it has under 550 hours, 42 rear discharge/mulch deck and is a creampuff condition wise.

I also want to thank @squonk Mike, @rjg854 Randy, and @Handy Don Don for giving @953 nut Dick a hand loading up especially since a large portion of that load was for me and I was unable to attend this year. I will hopefully attend next year and thank each of you personally. A special thanks to @953 nut Dick for hauling from the Show.

When I was making my practice pulls I had one instance where the tractor popped out of 2nd gear. This issue has been stuck in my head, as I didn't want it to happen again. Choice "A" tear the tranny apart & see what the problem might be. Choice "B" adapt a feature that I have seen on many of the Cub Cadet pulling tractor. The feature that I observed on the CC's was a flip over shifter lock to keep it from popping out of gear. I did a little head scratching & came up with this idea to hold the shifter in second gear. The pin that I used is a quick release with a detent ball on it. When not in use it can be pinned forward where it is out of the way, this feature also helps keep the pin from getting lost.

While we are on this subject, I’d like to thank @Wild Bill in VA Bill Pearson. I have been going to the show for over twenty years and to me Bill makes the show, as parade host anyone listening can tell his knowledge of our tractors is second to none. It doesn’t matter if you show up on something that you just dragged out of the woods or a beautifully restored tractor, Bill will make you feel happy that you brought it to show the folks. It doesn’t matter if you’re 8 or eighty, nobody drives away from the parade without a smile on their face. He will stand out there no matter what the weather as we have seen, and will stay there until everyone that wants to go through gets a chance to. We are very fortunate to have him as the MC for the other events that take place as well. To me I can’t think about the Big Show and not think of Bill. My hopes are that he continues to do this for many years to come, so we can all leave the show happy that we came! 🇺🇸

I think the WHCC committee makes the decision at the show. I heard a rumor what it is from a reputable source, but would rather not blab (plus I could be wrong and don’t want to spread false news)

Speaking of Saturday games, I knew I was getting slow, but the slow horse race proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

My 953 was doing that a few years ago at Jim's plow day. Last year I brought some bungee cords to pull it but never had a problem. Even if the trans is good still not a bad idea to have it!

It surely has for me. After conversing online for a year, It is great to see and talk with my Red Square WH Family face to face....even if some of you are difficult to look at. Much appreciated, thank you for your efforts....Eric, Charley, Dawn, and the rest of the WHCC staff.

It has never worked out for me to attend this show. Regardless, thank you WHCC for putting it on. I hope that this show continues, as I am intending to attend in the not too distant future.

Bob, Thank You for the video! It was great to see you and your grandson, and I know he had a good time because I ever time I saw him he had a smile on his face! The little black Wheel Horse at 1.48 was super neat, the owner let me drive it and I had to be careful because if you hit the throttle too quick it spun the tires! Wild Bill
