8 pointsHey @Achto my 28 year old son can help you step up your game from a Tube to any water board you want. Sunday we had our 3,4,5 & 7 year old grandkids out on our homemade ski trainer. My son just effortlessly surfs next to them to help them get up and stay stable. That’s his 4yr old son he’s riding with

7 pointsAbout 2 weeks ago I started getting a sore are on the side/bottom of my right foot. Then about a week ago it turned into a small open sore and I started putting antibiotic ointment on it. In a few more days I notice the rest of my foot looking a little swollen. A trip to the Dr and antibiotics and he recommended I have a Podiatrist look at it. So at the Podiatrist she said lets take an Xray of that since you don't know how you bruised it. Then she said there's something in there. She shaved layers off the thick callous on the side of my foot and found this. It's a piece of wire from a grinder wire wheel. It was stuck parallel to my foot and worked its way through the callous and caused the sore when it hit flesh. This type of sore in your feet turns into an ulcer, that just keeps getting bigger if left untreated. She dug it out with out any local deadening. I wonder if my wife told her to punish me if it was something dumb! I don't know how or when it got there? A few days ago I posted this question. I wonder if it got in my shoe and gradually worked its way in? No, I don't wear flip flops in the shop, leather work shoes for me. Thankfully the red infection is looking a lot better after a few days of antibiotic and the wire gone.

6 pointsA TK moment? I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once As I ever was I used to be hell on wheels Back when I was a younger man Now my body says "You can't do this boy" But my pride says "Oh yes, you can" A smear between wisdom and bravery

6 pointsA little late to this party, sorry. I'll get some pics of my trucks and post them for you guys. For now though, here's a pic of my freshly painted and buffed 1966 Chevelle. Just got to put it back together and it's finished for this year. I'd like to have it in one show before Winter. The interior is new and it is powered by a 454 BBC with a Muncie 4 speed. Runs great !!

5 pointsGot some fresh paint on a set of wide and narrow rims!

5 pointsPut new blades on the C-145 36RD deck and promptly proceeded to dull them. Sticks and stones may break my bones but do worse to new blades. Hats off to Brian @76c12091520h for getting me a NOS set. Check out the box! Nothing works like a horse!

4 pointsalso, the coaches (speaking to the masses, and I’m sure out of habit) reference boys to the team. “Alright boys, ….” “Good job, boys…”. Etc. I heard once, and have started telling Rylee “Attaboy, girl.” It makes her giggle. It’s great to see your kids happy!
-
4 pointsWow @rmaynard quite the story! It’s like the Disney movie Mulan, where she enlisted in the Chinese Army to defend her family’s name, knowing it was an all high crime to do so. Rylee took a pretty dirty hit from a kid yesterday in practice, and she walked it off. Another boy asked if she was alright, and swallowing her emotions, she shrugged it off. The next turn the caring one had, he clobbered the offensive one. At water break, he and another kid told her that if she’s ever in trouble, they have her back. That was a pretty remarkable story to hear, after just one week. Remember, she knows very little people in school, but she’s already proving herself. Talking with me about it, we discussed to never be a 40 (the dirty kid) and eventually with her as a ball carrier, he’s going to have to support her whether from the field or sideline - even if he doesn’t like it.

3 pointsReminds me of the day I visited my local female barber. It takes her about 43 seconds to trim my bald head and another five minutes to trim my eyebrows, nose, and ears. She was working on my left ear when the clippers made a strange noise and she screamed, there's something in there. The clippers had hit a wire that was sticking out both sides of my ear lobe. She refused to touch it, but there was a fishing buddy waiting his turn and he pulled it out for me. I had been running a wire wheel on a 4.5" angle grinder the day before. Keep those safety goggles in place.

3 pointsWelcome!! Yup, that is worn out!! Once the spindle is welded up and restored as best to size, switch over to ball bearings. My son is the TIG welder in the family, he welded up a 502 spindle for me, using a tungsten bronze filler rod. Nowhere as bad as yours.....

3 pointsJust seperated and blew out the 9-pin and all is good. In the garage again waiting for it to stop raining so I can clean, again cause I did everyone while waiting for the engine, dielectric grease connectors in hope to stop any water from getting there and then not take up it's parking space with the table saw and leave it outside. thanks everyone..

3 pointsWe have had nothing but rain around here lately the grass never dries out and gets long. You finally have to mow wet grass. I hate to partly disagree with Eric but sometimes lots of weight is not the answer. The wet grass is easily packed down by the weight and the deck can't suck it up to cut. Also our ground has gotten very soft with all this rain and excess weight makes ruts that never go away. I have been mowing my neighbors front yard which is very wet because his 4wd Kubota is heavy and is leaving major ruts. My unweighted Charger 16 with LSD gets good traction and doesn't sink in nearly as much.

3 pointsI have a vinyl cutter I make decal/masks with. These are painted. Most of the effort involved is cleaning up a design to make the mask. I have several more I am going to try.
-
3 pointsthanks for all the tips and after I posted this I started making a list which covered most of the above.. thanks for the steps and one lesson learned is not to leave it outside for a night again..

2 pointsPut the 42" deck on the Raider as I up grader the mid hitch and added a front hitch when I got it. It did good but struggled some on my tough weeds. but I usually mow with the C-120/180 or the 520. The North Carolina dust bowl is back. Kevin (Kpinnc) show a picture of it some time back. Here is mine the Raider was clean when I started the backyard. I gave it an air bath before I put it away

2 pointsFind some 3/4" (19.05mm for you nordic folks) round stock. slice off the bad and weld on the new. There's gotta be a shop over there that can do this if you can't do it yourself
-
2 pointsA bad ground on the lights would also prevent them from working. Got to ask the obvious, too - are the bulbs good? I've never, ever been tripped up by anything like that. Nope, not me. Not ever.
-
2 pointsI cleaned the 42" RD last week and tackled the 48" SD today. Little more work to drag the 48"er out from under the 417A. Sure glad I have hydraulic lifts to put it back on. Did the Greasy Pete thing to the mule drive bearings. I know, it's not Lucas, but it is green , tacky, and high temperature.
-
2 points@19richie66 Can you make a mask for squonk ? The uglier the better , anything would be an improvement.
-
2 pointsWe have done that a time or two at the shop I worked at. If you can get a good welder and a smooth polished surface for oilite bushings, alternatively the polish won't matter if you can convert the wheels to use ball bearings.
-
2 pointsOver here in the states we would just source out a nice used set of front spindles. Rather than cut off the axle portion could the worn areas be filed with weld and ground back to “round”. I’m not a welder, someone will come along and be able to verify if my idea is any good.

2 pointsSome of your fuses are not powered from the ignition switch, they come directly from the battery. My first thought is a poor connection from the battery to ground or from the battery to the large terminal on the solenoid.

2 pointsWater has been a part of my life, all my life. I learned to ski up on Muskegon River at Hardy Dam (the backwaters is a huge lake with sturgeon, power boats and pontoons all the same). My first experience skiing was out of a chair in shallow waters. My first time in the deep, I got pulled straight past the skis on my feet. Nobody ever told me to let go, and that boat dragged me for quite some time. I was noodling for fish that day long before noodling was cool!
-
2 pointsMy personal choice behind a boat is a single water ski. We didn't have any with us though. Used to be pretty good on one, but I haven't done it in a while.

2 pointsExcept for the logo, I love it. Most comfortable seat(s) I have. Thought I could remove the logo, but it's embroidered. Got a unlabled one on the 523-H.

2 pointsWell, I considered building a lithium battery recycling station and grafting some skin cells but I took another route and built a fire and watched my wife swing on the swing I built for her birthday The balance gears would have taken me a week
