35 pointsThanks to all who have sent out prayers for my well being following a stroke that occurred June 1. 2023 while we were visiting our granddaughter in Florida. The rehabilitation center had no guest internet so I have been unable to keep in touch with my Red Square brothers and sisters. Special thanks to @BOB ELLISON for filling you in on the situation. After six weeks of hospitalization and rehab I was able to make the twelve hour trip home. In the past I would have done the driving but my wife stepped up to the plate and with me as her navigator and GOD as our co-pilot we had a flawless trip from Mount Dora, Florida to our home in North Carolina. It will be a slow recovery but I will be getting better every day. We were blessed to have my wife be able to stay with our granddaughter for the majority of my rehab time. I will keep you updated on my progress and please continue to pray for a good outcome. GOD bless all of you, Dick Schmidt

10 pointsPepe has been visiting every night for a week. Time to give him a ride. Yesterday I set the trap baited with an empty peanut butter jar. This morning. Packed up for the trip. A tree fell on the path, so this is as far as we could go till I cut the tree up. And he's gone.

9 pointsI have a 6'X6' piece of black plastic that I hold up while I walk to the trap. Cover the trap and load him in the trailer. They feel safe in the darkness. Never had a problem.

7 pointsCut up some rubber mat material I had kicking around here and made a bed mat for the tub cart. Hitting a show this weekend, hopefully I can find something to haul in it

6 pointsWell after about 3 1/2 hours and who knows how much propane, I had to cut one hub off and the other slid off like a piece of sandpaper on wool! Checked for play in the shaft and will be replacing seals before reassembly! Thanks to everyone for their help getting them off, especially @richmondred01 for being faster than Amazon on the new hubs!

5 pointsHi Gentlemen, working on a friends Wheel Horse donated to him by his late Dad. I cannot find any tags on it so i know someone here will be able to identify the Model and Year. What I really NEED is the SIZE of the REAR Tires. as all four (4) markings have been worn to oblivion and they all need to be Tube. Thanks in advance hope your keeping cool. 5 pointsDibs on that rear mount you get tired of it Lane! This summer I had 45 tons of 3/8 screenings hauled in and built a drive way and huge trailer parking area. Distributed it all with the 520 FEL and a mid mount on the 867. Little bit of help with a Brinly back blade on a 1067 I picked up from @JoeM but not as handy as the mid mount. Even tho the back blade is fairly heavy no down pressure so it skipped abit and wouldn't move big piles. Should have had it on the 1257 plow mule that has a HY-2 on it. Worked OK for final passes.

5 pointsHaha! All I’m trying to do here is keep the addiction going for all of us ! But yes, a pullstart rig is so easy to maintain. No battery to keep up on and no wiring to trace out… well, one kill wire I guess.

4 pointsWell, Got the decals installed that I purchased from Terry. Was pretty sure they were in the right spot…worked for me. Gave it that finished look. This is a deck that I use, and it worked very well…but now that the grass is cut, it’ll be sitting for a good while. 🤣 Thanks for the help guys, Jason

4 pointsI agree with all Rick has said. Not sure, but you may need a different PTO hoop if you eliminate the cradle. It is probably easiest to keep the cradle and change the oil pans. If you decide to use the cradle, I would change it to a solid mount by replacing the rubber with solid spacers.

4 pointsThose numbers are good enough for the first pass. I haven't messed with these calculations for a looog time, so I need to get my books back out and refresh my memory. Bearing spacing is only one of the variables. You can play with the cross sectional properties of the shaft as well. Solid shaft, hollow shaft, round or not round, big diameter or small diameter are all possibilities. Similar to guitar - bigger diameter, longer strings give lower natural frequencies, while smaller diameter, shorter strings give higher natural frequencies.

3 pointsIf you remove the bolt from the carburetor float bowl and gas comes out of it. Then the float valve is allowing gas to get into the carb. If gas is not pouring out of the throat of the carb when the electric fuel pump is running. Then the float valve is shutting the fuel off like it should. Did you remove the main jet screw/emulsion tube and make sure that it was clean? Gas gets sucked through the main jet screw in order to get into the engine. Before removing this screw, count how many turns in that it takes to bottom out. Remember that number from bottom to reset the screw when you install it. Should be around 1 1/2 turns out from bottom.

3 pointsThese are 6x12 “snow-tires”. Look exactly like my dual 6x12’s. Your outer tires appear to be the same. I also think those inner ones are 6x12 as well.

3 pointsFirst off, I think you can swap oil pans and put your replacement motor on the cradle. But more directly to your question, probably yes but you may need to drill holes in the frame rails. And you will also need to add the lower bracket that the PTO clutch hoop pivots in. And of course source a few nuts, bolts, and washers to hold it together. That's what comes to mind off the top of my head.

2 points@Rob R Buy four 6/12 tubes and toss em in. If the tires are actually 8" wide you'll still be fine. Remember to run the outer tires low on air. I'd say 10 PSI inner. (A little high). 4 PSI outer. Keep from breaking stuff.

The grader blade itself is 40 inches wide and roughly 8 inches tall including the Curve. Please feel free to ask for specific measurements or further information.

2 pointsReceived the spindles and the steering arms. Now I can finish cutting the axle to length. Ordered some round stock for the spindle shafts to axle. I have 1 1/2 stock and need 1 5/8 for the spindles. I'll use the 1 1/2 for the hub spacers.
