Out by a small grocery store was this 1957 RJ-35! The RJ had a few non original parts BUT the RJ-35 was not sold in Virginia. Wheel Horse only had two dealers starting in 1958. The RJ-35 is not for sale (don't think that I did not try to buy it). Wild Bill in Richmond, VA

Many moons ago I thought it would be neato to have a mid mount grader blade. @Chris G helped me out with sourcing one. Got it here. Showed it to the BBT Trina person and immediately lost possession of said neato to have mid mount grader blade. But..... She does GREAT work with it maintaining our front dooryahd. I mentioned the other day we'd had some heavier than normal water flows screw up the driveway. Here's what it looks like after she rode around on her Tractah for an hour or so....

The new Rustoleum Custom Spray can sprayer is a very good innovation! About $1.50 more than old can sprayer type but it has more flexibility than the original!

New “e” rated fuel lines on the B-80 today … used the clear/yellow line only from the pump to the carb.

I used the new Rustoleum can to paint the wheels on my Rj35. Felt a little clumsy to me and to many options. I guess Im showing my age and don’t like change.

Not the weeds only here.... our whole grass grows that height the last 3 rainy months.... No chance to mow inbetween. That was my reason for the highgrass mower.... today few parts arrived and i decided to upgrade it a little... Firstly i removed the Discs from the Mower and greasing all the gearboxes. Than i gram a parted old Sicklebr i have for spareparts - to have is allway’s better than need- They be about 30years old but in good shape - just a little surface rust. than i drilled the middlesection up to 11mm next step was to shorten the Tips a little, because they be too long. and at least i mounted they into the Discs. instead of that thingis... boy, that looks dangerous but also hot. i machined up the Jackshaft pulley to it’s final Bearings fit and changed also both Belts, the one to the Jackshaft and the other to the Mowerdeck. at least i adjusted the Belt spanner to its final position and cut the screwhead that it didn‘t collide with the Belt when it goes to hard sideway‘s. Again it was time for a Testdrive - just in idle... let‘s see how it works... Niiiice - after few rpm‘s it stabilizes itself completely and no flattering is there. pretty Cool.

Brass worm gear? Years ago there was a specific lube for worm gears and it was not EP. Worm gears are a friction application and create heat. Today nobody seams to know what it is. Some say a steam oil will work but hard to find in small quantities. Also finding a lube not corrosive to yellow metals is a challenge. I opted for a 50 weight Lucas transmission lube for a 60:1 box.

Rollin' down Hwy 41 on my way home today I was passed by a FedEx truck. Some thing caught my eye, so I put the hammer down in order to catch up with the truck. After a second look I could not believe what I was seeing so I had to snap a picture. Looks like one package did not quite make it all the way into the truck.

I used pull them off and throw them in a jar of lacquer thinner since dear old dads advice of holding it upside down and spray wasn't working. Know how it says don't put any thing down in the can? I was pounding 16 penny nails in it I was so 😠 sometimes. Now I just let them get really warm, take them out in the woods, set them by trees I want marked and shoot 🔫 them...

stevasaurus to clear up any confusion you may have the original poster of the video is a great outdoors chef cooking large amounts of food for the children in his care, the majority of the food raised or grown on the small farm making it self sufficient. I suspect with that with the fresh water stream running through the property I believe he has made a pond to raise the fish as part of the children's diet.

Hooked up the broadcaster to the C121, ready to overseed the paddocks after the hay has been cut and the buttercups sprayed. Also been busy machining the double pulley on the 36” RD deck, due to a broken lower flange, and unable to locate a replacement over here.

Been making some progress. Went with a M18 starter that I didn't remember was on the shelf for the reverse. Floor boards will make it difficult to Flintstone it in reverse. The floor boards help to lower the look of it. Got the hood fab stuff mostly done but still need to build a front mount. Wiring all set. Engine runs nice and did take it for a test ride. It's getting pretty busy under the hood so probably gonna a pain to work on. Stuff is gonna need to be removed to work on other stuff. Still have lots of bracing to do and get the pedals figured out. 1 for brakes and 1 for the reverse belt. The handle bars will probably drop an inch or few

It's fantastic. The first year, it was 90% about the tractors and 10% about the people. Now it's 10% about the tractors, and 90% about the people. And their are home made pies for sale at the consession stand.

@WHX?? I've had similar thoughts with my Rustoleum cams that plug up 1/2 way through. On a couple of cans that did plug up, I tried switching to a known good nozzle. No joy. I then tried to open the valve without a nozzle. Still no help. Apparently, the clog is on the can side of the valve.

Does this seat make my rear end look fat? Poo Poos says we need to name this tractor. Now I ain't one to name my tractors but I thought maybe busseater with busty for short?!?! Any better ideas?

I figured out today that I’m driving a rear steer. I’ll be pushing chickens instead of pulling them @8ntruck this makes my backwards steering all right in the world now without sitting on the other side of the wheel too!

@Pullstart thats it , once you start to use a multi purpose lubricant for rubber to metal / vinyl , thats what its made for , just setting up some fuel runs / experimenting on location / run , ease of flow ,etc , just a tiny ammount makes fitting changes , fuel filters etc , very easy to do , also put on a squeeze gas clamp first, inches away from the connection , then after you are all in place ,suuare edge plrers , easily slide clamp in place , SUPER LUBE , small bottle , H/W store , done that , pete

A piece of bar stock about 5 inches long was used. 2 holes with one pinned into the slot hitch, the other for hitching the cart An early WH cart would be easier to build since it's square. This shows the the slot hitch connection bar too.

Not so much by plan. It's "geared" so it should be maybe top out at about 10 MPH currently. Enough to be faster than your average tractor simply because it would be embarrassing to get passed by a B-80. When it's geared down like it is the torque converter doesn't get up to enough speed to change those variable pulleys very much. That's not to say it won't be geared different in the future because it probably will. Better to find any weak points and work out some of the kinks at 10 MPH than it is at 30 MPH. The setup with a jack shaft allows for plenty of adjustment by changing sprocket sizes.

yup. I have a zero turn for my mowing, but want this for doing my front yards and around my shrubs. The smaller deck makes for a nice looking cut. Plus I now have a mower to go along with my wheel horse tiller, snow blower and dump trailer
