8 pointsMoved a 900 hour 1988 520H with 42" RD to it's new owner. He was anxious to do his first mowing with it.
-
7 pointsSpring cleanup. Winter seemed to knock down a lot of sticks and limbs. De-thatched the yard, front and back. About as hard a workout the Charger gets anymore. Otherwise wagon / trailer pulling and spray duty. a trip over with the roller and an application of pre-emerge spray and I will be ready to mow. Best time of year for sure

6 pointsI’m new to Wheel Horse, from SE WI. I just acquired a 1960 Suburban 550 (running and driving). Looking to learn more about these and see what accessories and attachments were available.
-
6 pointsPut a new "share of the fan favorite" deestones on the rear. Boy they do run small for anyone that hasn't bought them! These are a 23x10.50-12 and they just fit in place of the old 23x9.50-12 turfs that were on it (12x8 rims I believe?). I did end up going with a six ply though hoping they'll last a while but they are a pain to get on the rims! The old 2 ply turfs just slipped right off lol

4 pointsBTW Jeff ther is a section here... other brands ... feel free to post up your tractors. Looks like you need no warning these here like their ! Although our favorite color is red we like & enjoy all tractors regardless of race, color or creed.

4 pointsAdded tow hooks to my ‘69 Charger 12 for the inevitable times I’ll be stuck when mowing my soft and soggy spring-filled property:

4 pointsJeff. If you'd ever show up at plow day @Pullstart you would have met him. You quit choking the chickens and get to Portage Jeff be there. I'll overlook the color of his tractor... a real two bottom plow beast and a few of us got seat time on it. Note the weights on the land side! Back to the tractor at hand. Looks like Dan has got you a manual for it. Only thing i see missing is the dash plate. There's a wanted section in classifieds here you could post an add for attachments. Keep an eye on CL ads, particularly in the PA, IN and IL areas for them. @Lane Ranger might know some guys too. Not a huge fan of FB but things do pop up there. Looks like you have the 5010 three piece tranny. @stevasaurus is a pro on those and we can get you a repair manual.

4 pointsI do and don't know how my back ever got along without it. They might as well black ball two of us... Picked this up November last year & coming up on fast on first 50 hr oil changes. Have yet to do any road grading or wood cutting yet. Sure did move piles of snow tho.

4 pointsI regret my decision every day, but I’m very happy that you enjoy it as much as you do. At the risk of being banned from this site, my father-in-law upgraded to a larger tractor and he gave me a screaming deal on his 2025 John Deere. The little thing is a beast and it has a 60 inch mower deck that mows as fast and smooth as a zero turn.

4 pointsWe lived in Thailand for two years. We were missionaries who worked in the mission business office. We took care of travel, freight, payroll etc. Had I known of the tractor racing, I would have certainly tried to see one. Chaing Mai was a great place to live and we took a zip line while there. I pretty sure we were 80 or more feet in the air. We were assured the zip line was safe as our guide said the gear came from Australia. I tried to attach a video of my mom (who was in her late 70's at the time) rappelling but it was too large and I not computer literate enough to edit it. I did attach a "ladder" if you would call it that. It's way up in the tree and was used by the locals to install the zip line. It appears to be bamboo spikes driven through a vine. The second picture is me on the right and mom in the center. We are walking across the bridge over the river Kwai. For those of us old enough to remember there was a movie about the construction of this infamous bridge. If I remember, there were actually two bridges built. A wooden one and this one. It was pointed out that the middle sections of the bridge were squarish whereas the rest was rounded. We were told the squarish arches were replacements after bombs destroyed the originals during the war. It's probably 30 feet or so to the river below. When your cross the bridge the only safety devices are the mats of rubber draped over the beams. Who wants to fall into the river with scrapes from the steel beams at the beginning of the fall? This picture has a bluish tint because my camera was failing. We hired a private guide and driver who took us to the bridge, We visited a grave yard of POW's. We then toured a small museum , ate lunch on a floating restaurant on the river then rode a train a few miles where our driver met us.

-
3 pointsI’ve seen the predator twins used… but I am guessing someone has got to have a carb to keep yours running. Did you try A-Z Tractor?
-

3 pointsI was there last year to see that 2 bottom plow working. It was amazing to watch...so effortless and smooth. 1st quick tip for that #5010 transmission. Drain and change the oil. Use one of the bottom side bolts toward the rear of the trans to drain the oil. You may have to poke a small screwdriver into the hole to move any sludge to get it to drain properly. If real bad, drop trans, open, clean out and put back together. Refill with 90 wt gear oil until it starts to come out that side plug on the back left. Approx 1 1/2 qts. but less then 2 qts.

3 pointsI did not like how the rear hitch tilted down and all the up and down play it had so I added a spacer. Spacer is simply a little 1/4" thick block of aluminum held in place with two 1/8" roll pins. Hitch pin and the hole in the rear axle got a good coat of anti-seize. Hitch installed. Much more level and very little up and down play. has a little side to side play but I guess that is by design. Here is a couple of close-ups showing the hitch with spacer installed. I likely won't pull much with this hitch, I have 2" receivers on other machines but this one needs the factory hitch for the bagger support bar to hook on to.

3 pointsYou don't want much do you Mike? Finding a orginal in even halfway decent shape is tough. Hard to say what the original seat was as I have seen several different ones on '67s. Some had the waffle pattern on them some didn't. Some had the on the back some didn't. I have five 67s and every one had the original seat and every one is different. I think another one of those WH things where let's just use these today. Yes should be a low back as were most if not all of 67s. This is an original... wanna trade?!?! That is a nice survivor Mike Shouldn't take much to get it running.

3 pointsThere is a chance the governor arm is slipping on the shaft because the arm clamp is stretched and can not be clamped tight enough. A hacksaw cut in the arm to gain clamping pressure on the shaft should correct that.
-
3 pointsThat's a real nice find because it still has all of the original stuff that typically goes missing. Still has the original Tolliston updraft carb too Some attachments Mower deck (belly) Front reel mower Front sickle bar mower dozer/snow blade Moldboard plow Lawn Roller Wheel weights Trailer 4 wheel trailer

2 pointsTo add to the above A bad condenser or loose connections to it will allow them to idle but not increase rpm.

2 points@Tractorhead I must've bumped that bed and knocked it outta perfect alignment, then the resulting blob etc did the nozzle in. Usually run a brass nozzle forever unless I run glow in the dark filament or run it against the bed. Have some steel nozzles that last even longer. I releveled the bed and double checked my probe offset and still wouldn't run correct until I swapped that nozzle. Probably had a side blowout that caused curling. I should have monitored those first layers closer, durn thing ended running all day just spewing plastic while I was at work. Filament and machines stay in a heated enclosure to combat moisture. Nifty idea on the grounding! Not only help keep the filament clean but should help with dust n debris on the guide rails and rollers etc. Basically all over.

2 pointsThis came up in my Google feed this morning and I HAD to share it with the group. It's not like any of us resemble any of these words..... 2 pointsHi gang . I’m pulling my hair out working on a 416 model #73423 serial# 6900310. So the tractor just decided not to crank over . I’ve replaced the battery , positive battery cable , ignition switch , fuses , and relays . I’ve checked the safety switches and grounds and I’ve also pulled apart and cleaned and reconnected just about every plug connector on the tractor .now The big pin connector on the left rear of the engine does have 2 wires that appear to have been cooked a little bit at some point in time but appear to still be making contact . If I jump the solenoid she cranks right over or if I put juice to the light blue colored wire in said connector but when you turn the key I just get a clicking at the relay . Any help will be appreciated . Thanks

2 pointsHad the same issue sometimes. Especially after a longer Printing breaks, thought also it must be the nozzles and each time after a cleaning it works for few day‘s my results where 2 things 1. since i allway‘s keep the feedroller clean, to do that i use piece of sponge slides over the Filament what removes dust and dirt. 2. ground the Frame to remove electrostatic charge /discarge that solves lots of problems i had before with dust and dirt clamped via static on the Filament. the Static issues in my opinion be the reason for the clogging of nozzles and for printer troubles, sometimes more than moisture. but depending on moisture also this can happen a clogging in the nozzle. i heat up my printer 1/2h first after a longer break, to be sure no moisture is in bthe nozzle, than feed some filament and we‘re ready to go. No problem since and my again actual used nozzle is now 3 years old.

2 pointsWelcome to forum. Download this file. Each circuit has it's own diagram so you can start at the battery and follow the current to each destination with a test light or voltmeter.

2 points@Pullstart I don't understand why Mrs. P has not installed some type on controls what you are allowed to watch on the tube.

2 pointsBe sure the set screws are out. Some pulleys have two set screws on top of one-another to lock the bottom one in place.
