I’m always looking for tractors and my dad found a c-100 8 speed for sale kind of close to home.I had my dad reach out with a offer and the person refused and then raised the asking price. My dads friend @Crazywheelhorseman found out and told my dad that he had a tractor that he would sell to me.He said it was a c-100 automatic but when he got home he realized it was a b-100 automatic. He sent my dad pictures and I liked the tractor so we went and picked it up today. He included a new hood because the one on it was dented and included a few other parts. We went to my dads work because he had to swap out tires so while he did that I swapped out the dented hood out with the extra one he gave me.It runs and drives great.and the muffler broke so we have to fix that.I am thinking about swapping it to hydro lift and using it as a mowing tractor.as a bonus some one put a 12hp Motor in it.

Waldo started out at 9:30 AM with 310-8 with Trac Vac system , eating leaves . Everything find for a while except unloading and dumping Big Brute trash can full of grounded up leaves and grass. All of a sudden front end front end pops up in the air. Shut down tractor and 5 hp Briggs . Mule drive fell off . What the What ! Never had that happen. Drive belt under rims of pulley. Out comes big 1 1/8" wrench remove cover , get belts back where they belong . Can't see why mule drive fell off . Back to work cleaning front yard of leaves , knob for shifter decides to unscrew and fall down in tunnel . Son of a witch , can see knob but don't have monkey fingers to get it.Finish with leaves, Waldo really hates the Big Brute Trash can ! Got to be a better way. Get wrench out remove cover to tunnel , knob still there so is big pile of leaves and dirt. Get small shop vac out, no suction. Pull apart , and clean everything with air. Might as well pump up tires on neighbor large hand truck to move stuff off deck. Air going in just as fast as air coming out of tires. Back to What the What ! Come in house take a shower , eat lunch. Two large marble pot that Mrs. El insisted had to be moved from dead aunts house in Queens, NY to our house in 2000. (Younger man then. ) have to be moved off deck. Get my hand truck with hard rubber tires and wide board to get those %^&*() pots off deck. Move more stuff , check thermometer 85 degrees Only 2:00 PM enough for today. Going to take another shower later. Does that mean I can skip shower tomorrow. In 1992 when we purchase house on 3/4 acre lot in nice neighborhood with a lot of big old oak, hickory and gum sure was pretty. Not so sure now. Tree removed in 2021 was 30 inch diameter 1 foot off ground. Lot of leave production from trees that size , and that was one of the small ones. Waldo needs a nap.

We decided a few days ago that the upstairs shop floor should be painted. Somewhat for looks. Somewhat for keeping slivers to a minimum given consideration that this'll be at least half Dojo. ALL bare feet. Yesterday I spent a few minutes setting up the extension cord that'll be left in place for a few months going from the old shop out to the new one. I kept it off the ground well enough distance to drive under. Cord follows just below the red line and hangs where the blue circles are. Got up this morning and commenced to vacuumification and painterizing.... AFTER appropriate 🐻🤠☕ in a cup produced by none other than the excellent @19richie66. Here's the highly sought after Before shot. ⅕ done. Halfway mark with Meeha Mirror "helping" DONE!!

They do not have 7/16" od x 1/4" id x 1/8" thick. They do have 7/16 x 1/4 x 1/16. Buy two & double them up. Works fine, last long time.

HYD LIFT CONV 90-1136 90-1140.docxThe B-100 has Sundstrand Piston-to-Piston power unit. If you can find the parts, it is quite easy to add the HYDRAULIC LIFT. The OEM lift kit is part# 84113. You can see it on the TORO MPV. https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro Aside from the hoses, ram, control valve, you will need the END CAP valve parts shown here. I have made up and provided a couple dozen of these Hyd lifts, but not sure where you'll find parts today. NOTE... Best bet may be to locate from eBay... Wheelhorse Parts N More can supply new hoses and O-rings as needed. Hose #s are one the TORO MPV too.

I finally dismounted the old dry rotted tires off my 416H. My plan was to put tubes in them but @TonyToro had these brand new ones that I bought a few weeks ago. Spent a few minutes at the shop at work, while waiting for my daughter to get out of her job, utilizing the tire machine while Alex tinkered on his new project that we picked up tonight. I will let him share about that one.

Soo I was eyeballing one of these for a looong time and finally convinced myself to go out and buy one. What I'm talking about is a blasting cabinet. Although it's a chinese manufactured 'sticker brand' I'm positively suprised by the quality of the cabinet for a price of $140. That being said I'm going to replace the supplied airhoses on the gun because they are awkwardly short. Seems to me I cant aim the gun the way I would like to. But we'll get to that later. First things first, made a wall mount for it and started assembly: Some specs, imperial 'translation' below: Dimensions: 23" x 19" x 19.5" Air consumption: 5.6cfm Next up will be running some power to it for the built in light and connecting it to my compressor. Also will need to install an oil/water separator to supply the unit with clean and dry air. Will continue after the weekend.

Hello , I'm 53 years old and i live in the centre of France in a very quiet and non-urban region. My job is mecanic on trucks, equipments for trucks, mecanic in big worksite (roadscreation, highspeed train railroad) . I love olds mecanics in general and time after time i make some buying ..... I bought a wheel horse tractor few days ago. It was sleeping in a bard. Wheel Horse is totally unknown here. His stickers says it's a raider 14 but the serial number says it's a C160. U can see pictures on the topic i ever write in "implement and atachment" rubric of the forum. Here: the picture of the the kohler K321S 60137 serial number . The green beast is a hand tiller build by Somua in 1950 C12b model 7HP 2strokes engine with an ignition magnéto (i have tyre wheels too) have a nice day

Needed to make room for the minivan in the other section of the garage (other side of that door in the background), which is where I had been storing most of the Hosses. So I re-arranged some things and moved them all in here. Done working on the minivan now, so I'm going to do some more cleanup and organizing, since right now I have to climb over the deck on the 312-A just to get to the section of the garage behind the tractors. BTW, I have a muffler on the way, to make a stack on the GT-1848 in the foreground. I have an old twin muffler that's shot but the headers are good, and look like they will fit. So I'm planning to make a 2-into-1 header then mount the new muffler vertically. Then I can repair the hood. Hoping to do at least a "decent" bodywork/repaint on it, and get new decals. Not a full restore but it will look a heck of a lot better.

Looks like a good sound tractor. A strong young man like you should have no problem using the manual lift for mowing, I'm 77 years old and use the manual lift on my 310-8 for mowing all the time. If you decide to swap over to hydraulic lift the removal of the old manual rock shaft will be the hardest part of the job. Part #46 slides into part #19 and is secured with a square key part #18. On the surface this seems simple enough but most of the time part #46 will be rusted (Brown Welded) inside of #18

A big shoutout to my buddy @Shynon for selling me a 48” deck and bagger for Momma’s Big 523D. It comes in useful throughout the year when the lawn “gets away on us” but this time of year it is necessary given the amount of trees in our yard. The big diesel handles the mower/blower with ease. I am so thankful for this setup…really nice for leaf retrieval! Winter is coming🥶

After repainting the tractor over the summer myself I decided to redo the blade too , came out not that bad , I have wheel horse 55 plastic rear weights I have on now and chains I don’t have on yet , engine blew pulling trees and I redid it had people say I’m a “self proclaimed expert” , I didn’t go to tech school for small engine but I did for automotive technology and I sure am a Jack of all trades and do know what I’m doing if I don’t I’ll find a way to make it work , to those who think people who know nothing can’t rebuild a engine or redo a tractor like how I have been doubted in the past , I started this tractor before tech school and before any experience this is my experience shown in a picture of my first and best , it takes common sense to know how to rebuild a engine and redo a wheel horse , over the summer I never torn down a tractor to nothing I did in 2 hours and put it back in 3 no manual and it’s just fine , engine blew and I redid it no manual only torque spec sheet , and I’ll tell you it runs better than ever and to all those saying the motor was junk , or I don’t know how to rebuild it , I don’t know what I’m talking about , or what it’s called , I damn well don’t know what it’s called but I sure as hell know what it does and that’s what matters and I rebuilt that I engine in 2 days 3 hours per day and it came out just fine , to all who doubt this is the masterpiece someone who is a “self proclaimed expert” can do from not knowing **** at the beginning I know more than anyone in my Town when it comes to small engines I’m the person everyone calls and I can diagnose and fix anything without buying new or hiring someone to do my ****. ~Proudly

Spent half the day troubleshooting no left rear running light on my chev. Right side works so not a blown fuse right? WRONG! So after several hours of my life I'll never get back probing harness and taking crap apart no dice. Finally checked fuses and come to find out the left & right taillights are fused separately. Yep blown left side fuse... Who in the he double hockey sticks decided that they need to be fused separate. Had to be some stupid over educated engineer who thought things need to be so complicated and wiring harnesses need to be the size of an elephant's trunk?!? Come to find out they got fuses in there that blow when your ... never mind family site.... Kinda my own stupid fault after pulling a trailer with questionable wiring but still. Gimme old school stuff where one fuse ran it all. OK thanks for the rant I'll step off my now and go work on a litte red tractor that is so simple!

I have to say, these look better than the gluten-free almond cookies with skull and spider web cookie cutter shapes I tried to make for Halloween. Gluten-free baking is hard enough as it is, and trying to make a dough that is stiff enough to be cut and come out of the cutter in one piece, then not rise so much during baking that it totally loses it's shape... quite a challenge. BTW, my wife, son and I regularly watch baking shows - our favorite is the "Great British Bake Off" on Netflix. The people, even the judges, are pretty nice and often funny, although the one bald guy who's apparently there for "comic relief" in later episodes tells some real eye-roller corny jokes. So I'm getting inspired to do more baking after I retire. I already bake muffins every Sunday for my son's breakfasts before school during the week (alternating some variations of pumpkin spice and banana nut). I enjoy cooking, and especially the eating that comes afterwards.

Have been doing some experimenting and research on the solar charging. I have the HF 100 watt panel with its own controller that's connected to a simple 12 volt marine battery (deep cycle). Panel keeps the battery topped up (charging at 13+ volts). Then I connect additional supplied connector to keep my 2 tractors and dirt bike batteries charged (move from one to the next periodically). Battery also runs a 12 volt light set so I can use the barn after dark. Works great for small system. The bigger systems like mickwhitt take a much more sophisticated set up but still basic parts are; 1. Solar panels 2. Controller between panels and batteries (moderate charge to batteries, limit overcharge and draw down) 3. Batteries (need multiple lithium or other high amp storage capacity batteries....$$$ 4. Inverter that takes the battery DC and coverts it back to AC for household outlet use. 5. Multiple solar panels and multiple batteries can be configured in series AND parallel to increase efficiency and reduce the size of wire needed. ( Do your own research on this one....) Things to keep in mind; Your electrical consumption will be limited by the amount of power stored in the batteries. The solar panels simply keep the batteries charged. Bigger batteries, more usable power to your AC outlets and bigger $$$. Couple other things; Monocrystalline Solar Panel cost more and typically have higher output but have reduced output in less than full sun. Amorphous Solar Panel costs less and has lower output but they amazingly work in low light situations too. Bottom line is Solar is affordable for small applications like charging batteries, power outage backup for a few essential electric appliances, etc but trying to power lots of house appliances can run into big bucks for the system. The newest option I highly recommend for small applications (portable AC power, camping, etc) are the Jackery Portable Power Stations. Great because they combine the battery, controller and inverter all in one package. Just add solar panels for charging (other charging options included) and its a small self contained unit. Hope this adds some insight for folks.

Love seeing all the progress on you 656. I’m not sure if @Pullstart mentioned it to you but that tractor was owned by a friend of mine in Massachusetts. He bought it with the original transmission being completely seized up. I “loaned” him a spare transmission I had here so he could use the tractor. We all attended the big show in Pennsylvania that year. Next thing I know he sold the tractor to Pullstart! When I got back on Redsquare he remembered me and remembered the story and was awesome enough to share the link to your stories with your 656. Keep up the good work.

He’s pretty excited. It sounds great and drove great when we picked it up. Haven’t even unloaded it yet. The gas tank is in there temporarily. The right one was included in the sale along with the air filter housing and filter, and a non dented hood.

I have been buying these hex head plastic covers for years from the company! They look great, protect from rust, dirt and grease. They come in different sizes and colors. Adds some bling but real protection to the tractors. A couple photos from my B-80 with ten year old chrome look plastic pro-dec covers. Link to the company website: http://www.pro-dec.com

Nice! Wife: Why do you need to buy a tracked dozer when you can just cut them up and use what you already have? Us: Because . . . this gets them all together in a group so I can get this job done in half the time and spend more time with you! Plus, I can use it for lots of other stuff you wouldn't understand now, but will later Wife: You're the best and so smart to boot

Another picture of the 86 K-20 back in 1999 when I had to put this truck to work for 3 years as a result of an accident with my 88 R-30 chassis cab with utility / panel body. This is a Reading space cap all steel made in Reading P.A. this is one of 3 new truck bodies from them. Very satisfied with their products, 2 steel and 1 aluminum. Was able to sell this cap and recoup a nice amount for it and put that towards the aluminum panel body for the 2002 Chevy K-3500 dual wheel chassis cab.

Ordered and put on a 12 clam fleabay carb today. Once I got her dialed in runs sweet. Best running Tecky I got! Say what you want about the cheapy Chinese knock offs but this is the second one I got. First one was for a 12 Kohler and good luck with that too. Don't go by the manual on the settings tho ... sweet spots were 3 turns out on idle and only maybe one full turn on the main. Really plug & play tho once I got that fingered out. Some new charging diodes and this one is ready to run.

Hi all, starting a restoration project here before it cools down. This is my grandpa's 702 that he got for Christmas about 10 years ago. It runs but the project was put in the back burner. I pulled it out and am cleaning up it. Already have decals ordered. Wish me luck on resto number 5!

Interesting idea. Hadn't heard the term. I learned something new again!! We'll be getting permanent power sometime next year from a standard utility pole set-up. There's a pole at the end of the driveway that goes out to the right from the front of the building. Separate meter from the house. 100 amp service.

Technically no it’s not my garage. I work for a place that lets me use the garage, lift and shop space. Tonight I had to pick my daughter up at her job which is conveniently 2 mins from my job. we picked up the tractor and instead of driving home we went to the shop where I used the tire machine to dismount old tires and install new tires on the rims of my 416H. While there Alex started tinkering using tools in the shop. I definitely wish I had all this spade to work on stuff.

Per recommendations on this site I used Bleche White Tire Cleaner and then instead of the Miller Tire Paint I used AA Stealth Tire paint. Both products worked wonderfully. Here are some before and afters of the Bleche White. I just dumped the tires in a wheel barrow and poured in about 1/4 of the bottle of bleche white. I scrubbed them with a stiff nylon brush then rinsed off. That small amount of the cleaner did a lot of tires! Heres a before and after of a set of tires with the cleaner. Here is a before and after cleaning and painting to an original tire in the same condition that hasn't been cleaned or painted. Here is a comparison of just a cleaned tire and a painted tire. I used just a few ounces of the 128 ounces of paint. It was diluted very heavily probably 1:5 to spray in a gun. I am certain that this one gallon would do every tire I will ever own in my lifetime. It was very easy to apply too, and unlike paint even when it was literally dripping off the tire it left no runs or discoloring. Here they are all painted and ready to mount. This inflatable paint booth is the bees knees! I will have to keep that in the back of my mind.
