13 pointsI bought my 416-Hydro new in 1993 (1994 model) and for the past couple of years wanted a 416-8 to match. Finally picked up a super clean 1995 416-8, thank you and it was great meeting you @Brockport Bill

8 pointsWo got power. I picked up this little Honda 160GC for $60 today. It's small but 5HP should take me to my deer stand. It's a one pull start and it fits under the hood nicely. I played with rear mount, but decided front mount would be easier and the front weight is a plus. Got the Eaton cleaned up and gave her a pressure wash.

8 pointsI got some shop time today while the BBT and her Mom did more work in the new garden site. They got the rest of the fenceposts in and started spreading out some Promix. They were using the tent room as a mobil bug net. I spent a decent portion of the day getting the swap of front spindles and 5 lug hubs done on the Cinnamon Horse C160. It now has 6-12 AG tires up front. I ordered tubes for it. Should be in next week. Also worked on, and worked with, the Mackissic chipper. I found that with the giant BEAST of a chipper out front the drive traction is pretty much non existent. I'll be putting the fluid filled 23 x 10.50 x 12 AGs. Also steel weights. That'll add 250+ lbs to the back end.

5 pointsFor some reason I thought of this the other day. Not counting the ones still here, I figured since 2010 26 Wheel Horse have come and gone. I may have missed a couple.

5 pointsFront wheel size really suits the tractor. with Ag’s on the rear, it’ll really stand out. I’ve just picked up two 7.00 x 14 and two 6.00 x 14 Firestone Ag’s, brand new with six stud wheels. Cost £35.00. From local vintage sale, now need to machine some adaptors, or weld in new centres, (or make some new hubs). Also fabricated a 3pt setup to mount a “Slug Pelleter” / “Fertiliser- Grass seed broadcaster”, (another local sale purchase, £15.00), to my C121.

4 pointsBeen looking for something to set out with my yard art tractor and today I found it ( actually my wife found it) No… it doesn’t generate electricity

4 pointsI WAS just going to say... it also depends on how fat your behind is... but... Don

4 pointsGot a good summer price on these rear wheel weights today. 55 lbs each. They will help out when it comes time to push some snow again. Call this 875 " Fire & Ice "
-
3 pointsThanks! So now I'm positive everything is working as it should. It pulled a 18"x32" ground roller full of water about 300lbs with no issue at idle. Still need to figure out why parking brake lever won't move, need correct belt and need to change oils ASAP. Straight 30w is what the engine calls for right? And what is automotive type "A" automatic trans fluid can I use dex/merc fluid as I have atleast a case of that? Probably not going to being using much more after this just want to get PTO put together and all routing pulleys for snow thrower and mowing deck just so I can repaint everything together. I have a small decrepit trailer with 5 lug hubs that may fit this! @ebinmaine Fixed the ditch against the wall and leveled the pitch going to the wall. Pulled it upgrade with ease!

3 points5 in and 0 out....each one has its assigned task and implements so can't find the heart to break up the herd. Long as I got room to keep 'em under cover, they are good to stay.
-
3 pointsThat was just a bit high unless it had four extra good tires.
-
3 pointsWhile on my way home from a supply run in the next town over, I saw a late 60's square hood sitting in a front yard. No engine and a sign saying $200. Was on a time line, so I didn't stop. Gut reaction was that was kind of optimistic.

3 pointsApproximately 20, including 8 still here, but I may be forgetting a few. Last year, I sold three, just so I could get a car in the garage for the winter.
-
3 pointsOnly have had 2 and have them still. I’m fairly new to the WH bug though. Both are manuals and I’d like to come into an all hydro model though…

3 pointsThat was Warren mess'n with everybody! SOOOOOO many people asked them about it too but indeed, it was a WH so perfectly legit. I might be of the minority that thought it was actually funny. Maybe because I knew he was a real WH guy at heart so it had to be a joke. We were people watching as he drove it around and the screwball looks on many faces was --- WTF? Is that a JD at the WH show? Where's the law and order around here? Honey, go get my bat! Wasn't 2016 the customs featured tractor show?

3 pointsI have had 7. 1 moved on and 5 are complete and 1 in parts missing the transmission. My total goal is 9. One for each for Grandchild (8) and 1 for me.
-
3 pointsI have had many. Now I just keep the ones that can be kept under roof, tarpless. 11 machines as of now..... no more room at the inn. I need to let a couple go but I am always unsure about which one it will be????
-
3 pointsWhilst I'm there, I should take a ride up to Aroostook County and pick up some Ploye mix and Hazel Nuts. I'll grab you some Hog's Head cheese Steve if I can find an air tight container. Otherwise it will have to ride outside the truck!
-
3 pointsIt looks to be in really nice shape for a 54 year old machine. The seat and rear tires are upgrades. The engine is probably a replacement since the battery indicates it's an electric start instead of the original rope start model. All of these are substantial improvements over the original format. The 500 Specials aren't rare, but are nice. No idea what it's worth, but at $300 it's well less than $1/lb. You clearly have interest in it and want it, so go get it! Steve

3 points2016 my rookie BS year I saw one painted like that there and I asked one of the staff about about this being a only show. He told me to look again..... It sure did stick out like a sore thumb. I'm thinkin a late 60 early 70 Raider?

3 pointsOh... I have the set already. Carlisle (Trupower??). Same ones I've been running for several years on several tractors.
-
3 pointsI built my Raider specifically for doing field work. On an average size garden tractor, I believe that it is hard to get more than 12hp to the ground. My Raider has 220lbs worth of wheel weights on the back & 50lbs hanging off from the front. Never had a power issue while pulling my set up, I did have a traction issue some times when I had to cross over what I had already tilled.
-
3 pointsYou put enough lipstick on that Horse to change it to a pig !…
-
3 pointsI took my Raider 12 out for some exercise. We scratched a little over half an acre this morning. The double gang Brinly disc and home made drag seem to pull a little harder than a 12" plow but the Raider drug them around no problem. Now it's time to see if the Swisher is ready to chew on some grass.

2 pointsSo far I'm noticing that the muffler and seat are not original. Those might matter to a "purist" restorer.

2 pointsYou're absolutely right Lee. I saved a link to this post so I can come back and reference it. Thank you.
