Here's a pic 3 years mature of the 1974 C160-8 Cinnamon Horse while it was still under construction.

Welded up some rebar and scrap flat bar to clamp on my cultivator bar. Made a nice little drag rake until I get the larger one built for the Bronco. I hate stutter bumps in my gravel driveway. This is at least a short term fix until spring. The 867 didn't mind dragging it around, even if it was just cobbled up.

So the other day at the local Wally mart I saw a display of Williams ratchets. And I immediately noticed how similar they are to snap on ratchets at first I thought it was just a coincidence until I went online and read about Williams actually being bought out by snap-on. They literally even have the same internal parts. For $30 your getting near snap-on quality and it’s still USA made as well! they even have nice thick handles with good weight to them. Just handling it feels like it should be way more expensive than it is. Definitely adding more Williams tools to my collection

We got the final coat(s) of silver paint on the engine block.

@Achto @Snoopy11 aren’t they just so cute in there!? I dropped some Royal Purple 30wt in the cylinders. I have a 2 gallon jug of pre-mix and I’ll probably suck some of that through the fuel pump and see what shakes.

Buy it quick. I would remove the tins and clean the cooling fins and check for oil seepage around the oil filter base plate.

I am blessed to live near the end of quiet country road that dead ends a quarter mile past my driveway. Only traffic that goes past my place is locals and they know enough to watch out for the old man on the little red tractor.

I don’t listen to the radio. But if I did, I’d go with @Achto’s advice. Can’t imagine you’d hear anything well enough over the engine noise…

A little bit of snow removal with my 314 hydro and snowblower setup. My first time using a hydro with hydro lift and a snowblower! We had about five or six inches of fairly powdery snow from Storm Landon last night and today. This was on top of a lilt ice and sleet from Wednesday. Turned out pretty well. Did my drive and two neighbors before getting too cold. I can seethe need for wheel weights on this and I will put someon I am for more work in daylight tomorrow. More snow removal! Mostly used the blower on the 416H but I was able to get the D160 and move some snow. Haven't really used the D160 in year's other then snow removal (mainly because engine troubles aka valve seat) but a new replacement block and fresh parts along with a P series electronic ignition conversion has the ol girl running good and going easier on fuel. I might have to find another 48" for the 416 and convert the current 48" on the 416 back over to the D series and mow some lawn with it this summer for the first time in a very long time!

Looks like your outer bearing is shot. Napa # is PP204RR6. You should have torn it all down and replaced the clutch disc and inspect the bearings like I advised in your other thread.

The extreme heat is most likely from the pulley bell housing slipping on the clutch material of the plate. It could also be caused by the belt slipping in the pulley but I see your groove is painted which will make that belt stick to the groove walls. Why the belt shredded is something to investigate. Change the clutch plate since you have one and it's a good idea to try and resurface the flat on pulley housing as well. The more contact surface area between the two the better it will hold. I use a belt sander to make them flat but a piece of 60 grit on a flat surface can do the same thing. Use a sharpie or marker to color the surface and the color will stay in the low spots as the high spots are sanded down. That way you can see what's going on. You can do the same with the clutch plate too. It's a good idea to re-grease the bearings as the heat may have boiled the old grease. After it's all back together adjusting the PTO engagement so it doesn't slip is important. It doesn't need to be crazy tight but you don't want it loose either. After doing this you will notice a considerable difference in the performance of the blower.

Need to get the front decal… and install once the weather get warmer…

That took a lot of dedication. I know people the raise bison. They claim that the young ones will be tame, come to you by name, and want attention until about their adolescent's. Tame one week, want nothing to do with you the next. This may be the result of herd raising as apposed to individual raising.

I really hate that so many had icy weather. I really dislike it, and is primarily why I am not a fan of winter. Snow? Sure that is fine. But we never get more than a little, and it goes away quick. Like Lee, it was mid 60s here. And rainy. We've had plenty of winter here in the past month for me.

@kpinnc Out plowing (video on the way)... and HellHorse ran out of gas. Went back to the shop, grabbed a can of fuel, threw it in the trailer, and went out to give my Horse a drink. Then the 2 of them got in an argument about who was faster... deer or horse... Sheesh... can't they just get along? Don
