Out behind my garage there's a NEST! It's about a foot high and three feet across! I'm pretty sure those are WHEEL HORSE EGGS ! I had no idea they hatched from eggs !

You could go solid but don't fasten the pipe to the frame. It has to move due to the wobble mount engine. @Snoopy11 has the right idea. I have the EZ-Drain on my workers. I love them.

Did a little bit to the 312-8 today...replaced the leaky fuel valve and grommet. Also put on the snow plow for the season...and BEST of all! I got it to fit in the shed with all the other stuff! It's an 8x10 so a game of tetris was in order...

He may be better off taking the mulcher off the mower and blowing the snow off with the side discharge.

I just drove an hour to pick up the HI-LOW shifter of my C141D that my mind forgot when picking up the chassis. I hope I have everything now, since the Decklift mechanism came in a box. We got to keep these horses as complete as possible!

I tend to always forget to install a drainpipe. Always end up making a mess, heck at least I have free rust prevention.

We got a few inches of snow last night. I had to take the 875 out to play in it. I'm sure the snow didn't need to be cleared from the driveway but what fun would that be.

Replaced the seat pan with the correct one. Purchased a new seat and installed the seat springs correctly. Wiped a little dirt off. Starting to look a little better. Before After

Aaaahhh, my one year is in April. It was my dad’s for about 5 years but then I got it running for him so he gave it to me because he was going scrap it long ago. I’m torn on which I like better. They’re both great but for almost opposite reasons.

I got the plow off of my 607 (plow was originally bought for the 520) and put it back on the 520 after I FINALLY got my flywheel key. It was nice to have both tractors running.

I borrowed my FILs splitter for about a year. Was thrilled to have it too. Then I realized that it would work you every bit as hard as you want it to! There is no heat like wood heat. Not counting the 3 or 4 times it warms you up before using the wood!

In your search, look behind the box stores for returns. For example, my son was at TSC and asked about a log splitter in the impound area, the result was that it was returned as non-functioning from new. He bought it real cheap, took it home and fastened the Lovejoy coupling properly and it worked fine. These stores don't have a proper repair facility and often need to send the equipment out for work, so they welcome the chance to just get rid of it.

I take the lazy approach. Put this in the washer bottle, use it while rolling down the road a few times. Does just as good as the treatment in my opinion. Plus it gets reapplied every time that you use the windshield washers on the vehicle.

Happens a lot. My favorite are the ones that get it fixed and don't tell you what they found.

Any 520 model after 1990 had swept axles. 91 and up had reduction gears. The only exception was the 520-HC. It had swept axles before 1990.

Just my opinion- but I wouldn't change anthing on that machine. It looks great just as it is!

When I was doing wood I tried to drop the trees I needed for the next season in winter, if I could get to them. Sometimes just before deer season. The deer like the tops and in the spring the leaves still try to grow and suck a lot of the water out. End of August, September drag them out and split up. I miss doing it, crazy as that sounds, maybe I miss the ability to do it. It was my time.

I put together a replacement for the missing clutch handle today. I like it so much I'm going to make one for my C-175 also! Now I need to figure out how come it's not staying DISengaged. It EASILY jumps off the detent at the slightest touch. It appears to be a new bracket / lever, judging from the paint on it, but I have not investigated further yet. Wonder if anyone has run into this and solved it? What is the correct routing for the throttle cable? This just CAN'T be correct! It's right on the cooling fins of the engine, it's done melted the skin off the cable! Maybe it's a replacement cable and simply too short? If someone could post a pic of the correct routing it would be much appreciated! While looking that over I noticed some oil 'weepage' at the front of the engine. To me it appears to be concentrated right under the fuel pump. I presume there's a gasket there that may need to be refreshed? The only other suspect is the valve cover but and that appears to be a little weepy too, but more so the fuel pump. What say you K301 gurus?

Agreed. Trina happened to find the one we have not long after it was posted and luckily enough only about 10 minutes away which was fantastic. Needless to say we were on that like flies on .... Well anyway we went right over and picked it up. 😂

Did you see the V8 emblem painted on the door that is a flat head Ford emblem. Bet it has a flat head Ford V8 in it. My old 50 Mercury V8 you could balance a Nickle on the fender with it running.

All of my tractors are under my garage, except for the 656. It has the snowblower? on it, up in the garage. I sometimes have trouble getting up into the door on wet grass, let alone snow. All the batteries except 2 are less than a year old. Even getting the batteries out of the tractors would be a chore.
