Finally. some great weather for the fall show. Got to see some old friends yesterday... Brian, Bob, Robbie, Charlie...thanks for stopping by. Only one bucket ????? Special price on arial tours of the show in the Felton Flyer today.

I just got my forks on my GT-14 FEL I got from @fast88pu @roadapples I found ACE hardware in Dover had lots of Regal Red so I picked up 4 cans and painted them I have lots of steel such as 4 or 5 old disk brake rotors, an old heavy flywheel off of a standard shift car, and some heavy steel cut off my fork attachment to make it fit my GT-14. I still can't pick up more than 3 or 4 empty skids without the rear tires starting to lift I guess I need more weight

We are “Trying” a full custom puller tomorrow. This was a club points leader for years and has sat idle for a few years. We brought it back to life early this week and are giving it a try tomorrow. I’ll post up tomorrow how well my son and the tractor does.

Looking good just needs some maintenance on the deck to quiet it down some.

I got the 418-A ready for fall (dirt) and winter (snow) plowing. 6 gallons of RV antifreeze fluid in each tire and weight went from 42.6 lbs. to 88.8 lbs.

Perfect day with the usual WH guys and a couple guy who were experiencing Zagrays for the first time. I arrived a couple minutes after 6am and got a great spot, first guy I met was Ben @Bens vintage tractors, Vinny @VinsRJ showed up next and then his brother Matt @grnlark . John was third @wallfish and then Craig @AMC RULES. Ran into/met @TonyToro @Handy Don and a few others! Put some miles on all my machines today, good workout for em ! Hey guys, remember me? Long time since I've been here. Hope everyone is well! The rusted muffler on my '89 310-8 has been bugging me since I got it last year. I don't want to lose it, they're too pricey to replace. Today, I finally removed it, cleaned it up and painted it. I was happy to see no rust on the baffles from both the input and output side. You can see how bad the pitting was, but it still completely solid! Hoping this will give it a few more years of life! And last weekend, I made a 3/4-assed trailer hitch for my generator. She lives in the backyard, and dragging it all the way around the house to the garage, makes me never service it. Some powder coated 2" square tubing hacked off an old piece of exercise equipment, 2 aluminum plates epoxied together and machined to size, a few 5/16" holes, a 3/8" pin cross-drilled for hitch clips and presto! I will now regularly service my generator. (Also an excuse for more seat time!!!) That block on top of the tractor side of the hitch; I was going to grind off the welds and chuck it, but well... no need. It works perfectly. Leaving it.

This afternoon I finally started putting the Haban syckle bar mower on the GT14.

That was a really nice show. The weather was great and it was awesome to meet you guys! I was able to pick up some parts as well so it was a good day!

Loaded my rj59 with plow today meeting a member tomorrow who bought it.

I’m a pretty much do it yourself kind of guy. I was talking with a lawyer in a big city around D.C. one time. Out of my place, I’m sure. He says he works hard to fix things too. Makes a call, writes a check. Hard work. Takes all kinds!

Well ,all finished .I used corse mesh fiberglass tape I had laying around then filled in with Bondo then sanded flat. I then used JB weld to skim coat ,sanded smooth, primer and paint. Nor perfect and Not sure how long it will last but it should do for now. Hats off to the guys that can do restoration on these tractors.It sure does take a lot of time and work and patients something I don’t have .

What the heck?! I could mow the backyard with the lovely refreshed deck (the 516H did the side yard in 14 freakin' minutes with that beast) but made the error of going to Home Crappo yesterday, after taking out a bank loan, to buy 3 sheets of finished plywood. So it's honey-dos for me this weekend and Wheel Horse porn will have to remain in my dreams a little longer. At least Sweetie will get her popcorn popper and hot dog maker/microwave cabinet in the movie room so there are fringe benefits all around. Popcorn and The Martian tonight for us all.

Not a 520 but I was up this morning putting the plow blade on the 875. So easy. After that I had to rearrange the garage to make things fit. Going to need to do it again once we get some snow. I also need to go get the belt that goes from the deck to the engine on the 500 Special.

Strage out of the handful of 520's I have had, I hardly got any pic's After before The old shaker that went north on a trade. It was a good runner.

Well moving right along. All the electrical is done. New carb and throttle and choke cables. Got everything painted even the hood. I got a hub. Its the little things that takes so long. I do have to confess I cheated on the painting. I got a quart of regal red and brush painted the undersides of the finder,belt cover and hood. But they look pretty good. I just had to stop the rust. The hood really doesn't look that good because I didn't prime it first. The old paint was so thick a wire wheel took forever to get it off. and but I waited to long to start on it. I hope to have it running by next week.

Mowed for the first time today with the new rj58 after finally finding a deck for it. The kohler k91 did well in tall grass.

Spoke with neighbor via telephone this morning. He managed to pull the pump and found that the electrical wires had rubbed against the pump wearing through the insulation causing the short. With that 40 amp breaker installed it's no wonder the breaker never kicked off. I had asked him to call me when he was going to remove the pump, had I been there and noticed the problem would have advised him to install a torque arrestor. The torque arrestor keeps the pump from twisting inside the casing during start up. .

Been marshalling on a car rally. All stages on an old W2 air field. Windy, cold and for the most part wet. Though the club we were marshalling for do look after people. Free bacon roll and coffee in the morning. Soup, roll and coffee at lunch time. Finally after the finish, a very nice roast beef dinner.

Again.. not a 520 but I installed a new battery in the Lawn Ranger and the electric start works perfectly. As long as it was out and running, I mowed the lawn with it. Front and back. Just need to shorten the cables on it. Choke and throttle are both way to long. My garage is filled. Hate to sell any but might need too.

Just got this 58 rj, MAY have a shot at getting the original clinton engine (P O sold it years back to a friend), but probably a 50/50 shot so may have to get creative. was thinking full paint job, BUT. liking the ratty look from previous posts !!!!

Yep, tore down completely. Everything looks good except the diff. spider gears and axle gear. 1st time in one of these trannys. Should have done something with it years ago. Probably would have had more luck finding parts. Guess I should say that I've been around WH and this forum since it was under the old Yahoo Groups if that doesn't show my age. I still have about a dozen horses so I've had some experience with them. Slowly reducing the inventory so kids don't have to
