Spent the day doing a little detailing on the 1075 and the 500 Special. I think I am finished with them both now. Next is the engine swap on the 875.

Thanks Buddy, Mrs. Tractorhead gets much better now, she now also realized, what that issue really was, before she dealed with it like a gently sniff. The Doctor explained her what was really happen, and yesterday they sent her on a load EKG. It appears her Heartmuscles will come nearly complete back to normal, just light issues will happen in future, but nothing that brakes a normal life. She will be come back to 90 % as before, what is fantastic. Thanks to God and all the Helpers and guy‘s they be involved in this Scenario, the extreme quick transfer to hospital, the circumstance a Heart Doctor ( with knowledge) was in Service and his extreme quick diagnosis and the right choice to place a Stent. she is faster than before exhausted, but the Doctor told her it take its time until she will be back in 90%. The Irritation will cause in a just 90%, but that‘s better than 80 or 70%. she must now learn to be no so impatient, all things take their time.

News from Bavaria, couple of Months felt, Kevin sent me a Attach-a-matic mount. i believed it was lost, no info‘s at the Customs, DHL told me they cannot check the Number... no traces can be found. but Today - Surprise it arrives. i wish i can be a Mouse to check what they did with it. maybe they tried it out or the evaluate it was not a Rocket Part.... 🥴😂😂😂 Custom fee was fixed at 0,01$ - right one cent..... But DHL tops that with another 6€ on Top. However, it is here now and i can Play with it. Have to go later to the Shed and show the Buddy‘s what i have. The Horse have a little Work to do later.... if you don’t have access to a mill I just drilled holes at the end of the slots and then I used my jigsaw with metal cutting blades to cut the material out between the holes to create the slot. If you take your time the slots will be fairly clean and only require a small amount of filing to make them look really nice.

Well a few times a year I mow in the woods behind my backyard. It's kind of an open area by a creek and we like having it open to walk and spot animals in. Kids will play and woods romp, etc. But if I don't stay on it it will be overtaken by brush and become so thick you can't see or walk in it. Anyways... I had already let it go more than I usually do so today I had the time to do it. It is 95 here so not ideal but it is shaded. Tools for the job are a gold series 2 cycle lawnboy, and an echo srm-225. This mower is a beast and the higher rpm's the 2 cycle can run at really do the trick on the thick vines coming out of the ground. They will wrap and bog down my 4 cycles, but not the lawnboy. Brush mowing duty probably wasn't it's intended purpose but it does it better than any mower I've used. It has a robust blade too. It's about twice as heavy as normal one... single passes and the lawnboy is just eating it up. And done...

Oh yeah the traffic and congestion is quite marvelous. Forget about going to a restaurant this week. When you have had to deal with it for as many years as we have it gets old. @Achto is the lucky one he gets to battle the traffic to get to work. Course once he gets ther all he's gotta do is get up on the roof of his plant and best seat in the house!

I've had dogs for the greater part of my life. From terriers to Great Danes. My favourites have always been Border Collies. These two are the ones in my avatar. Sadly no longer with us. They came from the farm where a do a bit of part time work. This was Katie. Lost her at 14yrs old three years ago. This was Rusty. Lost her at 15 years old two years ago. They were half sisters. There was three litters of pups all at once at the farm. 13 all together. The mothers belonged on the farm and the father was from a neighbouring farm. Randy dog wrecked a door to have his way. They are both greatly missed. Where we went, they went. I said no more after Rusty went. But I've been persuaded, after much debate, to accept a pup from a neighbours farm. "She'll be company for you". "You can train her, take her for walks, do the things you did with the others". So in a few weeks there will be a Border Collie cross Australian Kelpie coming to stay.

Drain plug is on the very bottom right next to where the hitch contacts the case bottom. 8 speed fluid is 2 qts of the least expensive 80W90 gear oil you can find. If it's muddy or has water be sure to replace the shift boot too. 👍

Don't forget to put oil in it!

Sorry you feel that way. I am mailing a check back to you ASAP. July is always a difficult and busy time for me but with Lola's Health issues it has been extremely difficult. The good news is they finally got her BP to normal range after changing meds 3 times so were happy about that and she should be fine going forward. Thanks to everyone for your patience. I expect to be caught up with show orders by the end of the week. OOPS! spoke to soon. just as I am typing this Lola just told me her BP has spiked again to 159/109 Why cant they figure out what's causing this. Terry

The ols Cessna pump on the loader blew out the side the other day. So on my only day off I made a new pump bracket for the new pump.

My girl!! I used to hate the thought of having a dog because they shed and drool etc. now I cannot think of not having her. She is just over two years old and my hinting dog/ family pet. Her name is Harley. She is an English Lab.

Regular spray paint will be fine, many on here use it. Use a heat resistant paint on the muffler and exhaust pipe. The way the 80's and later WH's paint comes off in large flakes/sheets it acts like maybe it was an early version of a powder coat or an electrostatic applied wet coat that was baked. When I sand blasted my sons 312-8 some came off very easy/some very hard on all body parts. I switched to using an e-tank to strip the paint and derust it, then did a final blast to clean it up and put a profile on the metal for better paint adhesion.

That's a 48" deck. To run a 60" deck you will need a 1990 or newer 520. They have the forward swept front axle to clear the deck. You also need the special spring loaded mule drive. The 1988 and 1989 520s do not heve the swept axle. The 48" deck shown will run on any 520 or C-160.

At 4:45am traffic is not really an issue and my route home is usually pretty clear as well, so not too much hassle for me. I will admit that I do not try to go any where else in Oshkosh during the show. I have never been to the EEA show even though I have lived with in 45min of the air field / show grounds my whole life. Keep saying "One of these years I should go to EAA". I will sit in the parking lot at work and watch a little bit of the air show when I have time. Been up at the farm today, modifying an old smithy built field gate that must be 60yrs old at least. 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" angle iron. 1" x "1/4 flat bar and 3/8" square bar. 8ft x 4ft and weighs a ton. Well it felt like it. It's going at on end of an alleyway we use for loading the cattle trailer. The existing modern thin pipe gate has been bent and wrecked by beasts trying to escape. Only three years old. The modifyied one should last another 60 years now. See me out anyway.

Yes, I've seen it. In most cases I need a 'custom' piece though to fit each application since I'm typically only 'piecing in' the rotted / decayed portions. I remove a piece of the decayed portion and machine an exact fit replacement. Plus, it gives me an excuse to use my machinery!

I'm sure you know that brickmold also comes in composite material like deck boards, even azek or similar products. May have to be ordered, but it is available.

Picked this up from a friend kinda thought the 42" deck was a little unique for a 855 I checked some manuals showed it as option for 855 and other 1965 models.

Tires are on without chains and look good. I think the chains are more likely to hit the tank bracket than the hydro fan. Chains will definitely need to have no slop on inside. Thanks all for comments.

I don't know who made it but I just this Spring found a feller who was elated to get the color matching chain saw I had. I gave it to him no charge. It was worth the smile on his face.

Getting things sorted for the steam pageant in 3 weeks. Cleaned up the 1467 Special and 3000W Generac Genny!

I still have to get a correct belt for it. The one on it is way too big. I also need to adjust the rear of the deck up just a little. The rubber bumpers on the deck hitch have to be added, because I know what they are for now. Also I think the hitch itself is about shot. It came loose without adding a pin, but it does that with every deck I have ever put under this tractor. Long story short- it's probably better to stick with a traditional gage wheel setup if you do this. Even the 520 barely straddles this thing as it is. But if you can find a commercial deck, they absolutely work as well under our tractors as anything else! Without question- the tractor this deck is for will have to get a 520 axle. Luckily I have one left... One more thing- not one time did I have to clear clippings from the Onan. The deck is high lift and nothing blows out on the left side. The right side was another story. I had grass from my feet to my ears.
