5 pointsThanks Buddy, Mrs. Tractorhead gets much better now, she now also realized, what that issue really was, before she dealed with it like a gently sniff. The Doctor explained her what was really happen, and yesterday they sent her on a load EKG. It appears her Heartmuscles will come nearly complete back to normal, just light issues will happen in future, but nothing that brakes a normal life. She will be come back to 90 % as before, what is fantastic. Thanks to God and all the Helpers and guy‘s they be involved in this Scenario, the extreme quick transfer to hospital, the circumstance a Heart Doctor ( with knowledge) was in Service and his extreme quick diagnosis and the right choice to place a Stent. she is faster than before exhausted, but the Doctor told her it take its time until she will be back in 90%. The Irritation will cause in a just 90%, but that‘s better than 80 or 70%. she must now learn to be no so impatient, all things take their time.

5 pointsif you don’t have access to a mill I just drilled holes at the end of the slots and then I used my jigsaw with metal cutting blades to cut the material out between the holes to create the slot. If you take your time the slots will be fairly clean and only require a small amount of filing to make them look really nice.

4 pointsWell a few times a year I mow in the woods behind my backyard. It's kind of an open area by a creek and we like having it open to walk and spot animals in. Kids will play and woods romp, etc. But if I don't stay on it it will be overtaken by brush and become so thick you can't see or walk in it. Anyways... I had already let it go more than I usually do so today I had the time to do it. It is 95 here so not ideal but it is shaded. Tools for the job are a gold series 2 cycle lawnboy, and an echo srm-225. This mower is a beast and the higher rpm's the 2 cycle can run at really do the trick on the thick vines coming out of the ground. They will wrap and bog down my 4 cycles, but not the lawnboy. Brush mowing duty probably wasn't it's intended purpose but it does it better than any mower I've used. It has a robust blade too. It's about twice as heavy as normal one... single passes and the lawnboy is just eating it up. And done...

4 pointsOh yeah the traffic and congestion is quite marvelous. Forget about going to a restaurant this week. When you have had to deal with it for as many years as we have it gets old. @Achto is the lucky one he gets to battle the traffic to get to work. Course once he gets ther all he's gotta do is get up on the roof of his plant and best seat in the house!

4 pointsYour ears must have been ringing today Buddy, I was just thinking about you! I hope all is well with Mrs. Tractorhead and her recovery. We get to see our Jil next week!

3 pointsI've had dogs for the greater part of my life. From terriers to Great Danes. My favourites have always been Border Collies. These two are the ones in my avatar. Sadly no longer with us. They came from the farm where a do a bit of part time work. This was Katie. Lost her at 14yrs old three years ago. This was Rusty. Lost her at 15 years old two years ago. They were half sisters. There was three litters of pups all at once at the farm. 13 all together. The mothers belonged on the farm and the father was from a neighbouring farm. Randy dog wrecked a door to have his way. They are both greatly missed. Where we went, they went. I said no more after Rusty went. But I've been persuaded, after much debate, to accept a pup from a neighbours farm. "She'll be company for you". "You can train her, take her for walks, do the things you did with the others". So in a few weeks there will be a Border Collie cross Australian Kelpie coming to stay.

3 pointsDrain plug is on the very bottom right next to where the hitch contacts the case bottom. 8 speed fluid is 2 qts of the least expensive 80W90 gear oil you can find. If it's muddy or has water be sure to replace the shift boot too. 👍

I expect to be caught up with show orders by the end of the week. OOPS! spoke to soon. just as I am typing this Lola just told me her BP has spiked again to 159/109 Why cant they figure out what's causing this. Terry

3 pointsThough we may be far apart geographically, we are together in spirit... Please join me in prayer... Our most gracious and heavenly father, hear our prayer O' Lord... We ask that you send your Holy Spirit down from heaven to be amongst Howard, his family, the donor, his or her family, and all involved... To cover them Lord in protection, love, healing, and grace... To hold all of them in your guarding arms... And use your omnipotent power GOD to protect all of them now, and forever more... In your son Christ's name we humbly pray. Amen.

2 pointsModel # 10515, If I am not mistaken. Circa ~1993. I have 2, and my wifes mowers of choice, out of 20. Nice, well built Lawn Boy. Very easy to repair, should a problem arise.

2 pointsTom, thank you for posting this! Looks like just what I need! AND, Mrs Google led me through to this webpage which is a MOST EXCELLENT read. Not a lot of glitzy HTML, just good old fashioned information. I mean, who knew that one could mix Durhams Water Putty with Epoxy to make a wood filler material? OR, fast set joint compound powder to CLEAR siliconized caulk ? This guy is a treasure trove of information! I can see spending hours upon hours on this site and bookmarking it for certain. In fact, I might save it 'offline' in case it goes away! http://rogcad.com/painting/contractors/index.htm

2 pointsAt 4:45am traffic is not really an issue and my route home is usually pretty clear as well, so not too much hassle for me. I will admit that I do not try to go any where else in Oshkosh during the show. I have never been to the EEA show even though I have lived with in 45min of the air field / show grounds my whole life. Keep saying "One of these years I should go to EAA". I will sit in the parking lot at work and watch a little bit of the air show when I have time. Enjoy the show @Dirty Dingus Magee Post some pictures, please.

2 pointsBeen up at the farm today, modifying an old smithy built field gate that must be 60yrs old at least. 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" angle iron. 1" x "1/4 flat bar and 3/8" square bar. 8ft x 4ft and weighs a ton. Well it felt like it. It's going at on end of an alleyway we use for loading the cattle trailer. The existing modern thin pipe gate has been bent and wrecked by beasts trying to escape. Only three years old. The modifyied one should last another 60 years now. See me out anyway.

2 pointsagree - in some areas it makes sense to clad - other areas it might not ... due to trapped moisture / water just recently had a guy look at some of our exterior windows - he did not want to clad them because he felt it would lead to rot they are 70 year old Andersen sliders ... sashes were replaced around 20 years ago - but the remainder is original the windows face south / southwest - no trees - so they get full sun just recently repainted them ; they were neglected and in terrible shape fortunately only had to rebuild a few small areas and fill some larger splits I used Smith's CPES two part epoxy and epoxy filler for the sill repairs - and then also used PPG Permanizer Plus (also known as Seal Coat at one time I believe) finished with Sherwin Williams Duration

2 pointsYea they were only on the 10hp and up engines of the time. All massey ferguson GT's except for the 14 and 16 came with techys and the older ones had starter generators. I guess tecumseh wanted to advertise trouble free ignition, which they were good modules, but they don't make them anymore. If you find one NOS it's still $200+ and it's still a 60 year old electronic.

2 pointsNo brainer Ritchie... one of those covers for a bevel gear deck.....

2 pointsTires are on without chains and look good. I think the chains are more likely to hit the tank bracket than the hydro fan. Chains will definitely need to have no slop on inside. Thanks all for comments.
-
2 pointsI don't know who made it but I just this Spring found a feller who was elated to get the color matching chain saw I had. I gave it to him no charge. It was worth the smile on his face.

2 pointsSome people use a "touch" sensor that maps and accounts for the print bed leveling.there are sensors currently equipped that automatically find zero, but from the zero point the entire bed must be level with the print head. I personally like to do things a little more manually. I find, like wheel horse tractors, simplicity is a key to reliability.
-
2 pointsThe good news is that is actually a MV18, or at least it shares the same bore and stroke. Sears wanted a 16 twin and it was easier for kohler to change the sticker than make a new engine. I converted a mv18 to run horizontally five or so years ago, my memory isn't the greatest but here is my take away: Use the manual! Big things you need are bearing plate/side cover, and crankshaft. Try to get them from the same engine. (try a-z, i used one of the big recyclers on epay) Mine was not from a wheel horse so I'm using an electric pto. You will also need intake and exhaust manifolds, air cleaner elbow(a-z), all the external governor pieces (parts tree) dip stick, oil fill, oil pick up, breather tube.

2 pointsNope... that is a 1995 Ford Ranger, believe it or not. It is just as physically monstrous and monstrous-sounding as my Hell Horse. Mustangs and muscle cars shake in their boots when this thing roars... You can see peeks of my Hell Horse in the background... Don
