15 pointsJust picked this one up today, not sure what im gonna do with it yet. Just thought I'd share

11 pointsThere is no limit as to what Wheelhorse stuff can be used for. Last minute barbecue improvisation for some sardines.
-
10 pointsPutting the final little touches on B80-FLOWAHPOWAH. Added a rear LED Safety light. So other then a good cleaning sometime this week she is 100% done and ready for the Owls Head show this weekend!
-
9 pointsFinally some decent weather. Hay cut Thursday afternoon, Tedded Friday and Saturday. Rowed up Sunday morning, baled Sunday evening. Temperature 31c here at the moment! C121 getting a good run towing the trailer around collecting bales.
-
8 pointsLook what I picked up yesterday at an auction for the grand total of $12.00 The angle grinder is a beast and it only needed the metal trigger bent out a little, it was stuck in "on" position. The band saws both need new cords
-
7 pointsBeen working on a complete engine rebuild. Moving slow but moving ahead.

6 pointsI can't believe I'm the one that landed this one off Facebook market place, It was listed for $850 for weeks. I watched the price. It kept dropping. I have four other GE Elec Traks and I sure did not need another. One day I made a low off and included that the price was only good if they would deliver. They took it and I even got it cheaper than my offer. The battery's is only 3 years old. So far everything's working except the head lights. I'm happy... I'll get some better pictures. This was one of the posted for sale pictures.
-
6 pointsBuilt a new brake band this morning. Let it dry, clean up the edges, paint and install. I'm happy so far with the epoxy. The other band torqued and tore and the epoxy held.

5 pointsHad to do some reconstruction on our IH 4700 today.. The floor in this truck was getting pretty soft. Here is a pic of the right side of the truck after I cut the rusted floor panels out. Rocker panels were also in bad shape. After a little tin knocking I was able make some new rockers out of some 16ga. New floors in & welded in place.
-
5 pointsHere's the results, I tried a new cord on one of the band saws and it didn't work. I tested the switch with an ohmmeter and it was bad. I tested the other switch and it was good. I tried the good switch on both saws and they worked. I replaced the cord on one saw with the good switch and now I have one working saw and one that needs a cord and a switch.

5 pointsTook my first ride around the yard on the 877 and confirmed the cigarette lighter works now I need to figure out were to mount stereo and speakers, usb port, and a cup holder
-
5 pointsWell folks we did go buy the lathe. Excellent condition! We'll get some pics after it's set up.

5 pointsCleaned out the C125 carb this morning as it was running rough and needed half choke to keep any revs on. The floatbowl was full of paint flakes - a new inline filter should sort that out for the future! Also finally got around to a new on/off valve at the fuel tank. My old one leaked so bad I have only ever just put a little fuel in the tank at any time, and always carried a Jerry can of fuel in the trailer to top up as I went. Now have a full tank of fuel, no leaks and some decent endurance. Nothing else went right today, but at least one of the horses is running well

5 pointsFarmer neighbour walked round this morning when I was busy mowing the lawn, before it got too hot. He talked with Carol and number 3 grandson who was visiting, then all three disappeared. I thought he was maybe moving stock and wanted them to stand at the cross roads. That was not the case. In the afternoon a breeze cooled things down a bit so I mowed the green. I found out where they'd been after dinner. Round to the farm. Why? To see a litter of week old pups. Since losing my two collies, 3 and 2 years ago, they have been much missed. After their passing I said no more dogs. Dinner over I was eventually persuaded to go see the pups. Three ******* and a cur. Cross breeds. Mother an Australian Cattle Dog. Father Border Collie. After some arm twisting by SWMBO, it looks like there'll be an addition to the household in five weeks or so.

4 pointsI have a 1972 WHEEL HORSE COMMANDO. The rear tires were old (like 38 years) but hanging in there. When one finally went flat it shredded. I found that 22 x 7.5 x 12 are discontinued but 9.5 will fit just fine. $80 each was the cheapest tire I could find but then I found these at walmart.com and Amazon. They're already on rims for Husqvarna. I was gonna have them mounted on my horsy rims because they're cheaper than just buying the tire. Guess what? It's the exact same rim as my horsy!!! They bolt right up!!!

4 pointsIf I had a wagon like that it would be piled full of junk and I wouldn't be able to use it anyway

3 pointsFinished the gt14 dash print, still needs tweaking, top holes a little off and still need to refine text and layers for the big printer. And can still go a little thinner. Put Dug to work moving brush with some improvised 2x4 forks, and loaded a stack of roofing tin to move over to the new house from the old using the same forks.

3 pointsProbably worn pivot pin for the front axle. Pull the pin and see if it has grooves worn in it. I redid a Charger. Made a new pivot pin out of 3/4 stock. Drilled out the center hole in the front axle to 7/8" and pressed in to sleeve bearings (7/8 OD 3/4 ID) now nice and tight

2 pointsStart with a carb cleaning. Your well intentioned maintenance may have dislodged some crap. Did you replace fuel lines/ filter. May have sat with ethanol in it's go juice. Looks like you might have?

2 pointsI run mine somewhere between 10 and 14 psi. Both the front and rear. If you run too much pressure, the center of the tread will bludge, forcing the edges of the tread away from the ground. Too little, and the center of the tread bows up and away from the ground, leaving the edges of the tread doing most of the work.

2 pointsYes it’s the standard four wheel wagon. Very useful as a flat bed. Sides are easily removable. Easily movable while cooking , right height and fire proof. Also guests are always amused by it. Later we clean it up put sides in and take people for a ride.

2 pointsFinally got everything back together and mowed my yard with it. Works great. Now I almost don't want to sell it but it is way too much for my yard. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought it. I have had my 655 for 40 years and love it. Going to concentrate on getting everything fixed on that tractor. It works better for my yard. I can't thank you all enough for all of the help you gave me. This forum is awesome. -Ben

2 pointsHello from another Wheel Horse fan in Pace, Fl. I'm an old follower of this forum, but I just created an account. I bought a 1987 312-8 from the Hendrix boneyard back in 2004 after hurricane Ivan and restored it. Needed something for storm cleanup work. Still using it to this day! Between my neighbor and I, we now have 3 restored Wheel Horses.

2 pointsBasement flooded last night, worked into early morning getting all the water ejected... ugh... Welcome to Indiana... Old Helped me haul all the flooded furniture and junk up to the shop... lots of nasty wet stuff... I did manage to get my oil temp gauge installed though! Runs 180 degrees at 3,800 rpm... purring... Only problem is... I had to take the crank-case off the motor, and the cam came out with the crank-case cover, cam followers fell out, pushrods got messed-up, had to take the hood off, valve cover off, re-time the motor... THEN drill through the crank-case cover for my temp sender. I will show you guys some pictures later... right now... going to get some much needed rest... Don

2 pointsPhew its hot here. Did a litter pick and collected 30 bags of rubbish thrown out of cars onto the road side. Also finished a project for a lady who has an old dog who she takes out in a stroller. The handlebar needed replacing so I fabricated a new one for her. I did it pro bono and she got me some beer to say thanks.

2 pointsOk this may be obvious but both of my Onans look over filled if you pull the dip stick on a cold engine. Idk why but you have to pull it, wipe and reinsert to get the correct level. Not saying this is your issue.

2 pointsIve been noticing some prices fall as I do my online shopping..hopefully the trend continues!

2 pointsThose are NOS Interurbans. Believe they were made by Firestone. My nieces husband family owns tire and salvage shops. I got them from him.
