Pour a gallon of this in there. Let it sit for a week. Empty it out and rebuild the engine. Works every time!

Hi all. Well? After a lot of work . Ordering parts from an ebay seller. And straightening a lot of pieces. Meaning? The grille, lower front cowl, the headlight panel, the fan. And? The hood and dash panel. Replacing the radiator and 1 headlight assembly? She lives . I put new tires on front too. Here's some pics.

Opened a new remote control for my Hunter ceiling fan this morning and found this. Am I not supposed to eat the battery, or not eat before cooking? I'm still confused.

Why the flying heck would you re-ring that??!!?? Just think of the absolute destruction you're doing to the local mosquito population!!!!!

50/50 transmission fluid cleans them up pretty good, run it hard.....drain r hot! I got a 10 hp magnum that smokes like that when it has not been run for a while. If i run it everyday just a touch of smoke on start up. I run 10w-30 in it and it seems to be the best.

My 1963 chevy pickup owners manual tells me how to pack the axle bearings and adjust the valves. Now remote controls come with instructions to not eat the batteries.

This is the reason I had to leave the Big Show early. The crabbing was good, the fishing was fair, and the relaxing was excellent.

Was working on the Case SC earlier, and when I stopped to take a break I happened to look down and notice the brand name on the tires. The rears are CO-OP branded, which is not all that uncommon to find on an old tractor around here. But the two old front tires are what caught my attention. Phillips 66 branded, Never seen nor heard of Phillips branded tires before, but thought they were neat, as my Grandpa worked for Phillips for years before finally retiring from ConocoPhillips a few years back. What other odd brands have some of you stumbled across that people may or may not know existed

My friend inherited Gramma's 63 Ford Galaxie. 38000 miles. Smoked like the mosquito fog truck. Beat the snot out of it. Took 3 weeks but the smoke stopped completely. Gramma never took it over 30. Probly wasn't Gramma's mower, but ya never know! It might clear up!

The best for roots? Borrowed (NOT from a real friend).

probably too much smoke for this, but I'd clean the filter behind the valve cover...

You call that smoke?!?!? I got a KT17 that beats that and a Briggs twin that together the US Army wanted me to come lay down smoke screens for their next invasion. Sorry to have to tell you Doc that looks like toasted rings to me. You could try a little MMO in it just for $h!t& grins. Ain't a can of liquid tune up in the world gonna cure that tho.

Throw a coil on it Paul. Even with pretty good readings, Maybe the coil is shorted to ground internally. Electricity will flow to ground thru the least possible resistance. A winding could be leaking to the case and still give good readings.

Made a trip to tend to some family business involving squatters on our land. Eviction/trespass orders served and druggies were very polite to the Mrs. when Mr. Is just behind, open carrying his 9mm carbine on land he owns! Made a visit while in the area to visit some relatives and thank them for their service. And a little reminder of my own mortality..lol

@Jeff1129 Like @953 nut said...check all of your wiring... While you're at it, clean all connections( spade ends, brass nuts, etc. ), and apply dielectric grease to help prevent future corrosion- just to get started. WE LOVE PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you start getting into the restoration, check here often for advice and ideas and you'll get it right the first time. These guys know what filters, fluids, etc. is best for your machine ! I got my first Wheel Horse 4-5 years ago. It is a 1994 520H. I love it ! I let it sit(inside) for a few years after I got it, and last Aug.- Sept really started digging into it and ended up doing what I call a "refresh"... not a total restoration. I had a ball ! May I suggest you become a supporter on Red Square. ( That will turn your username red and allow you to post pics ). I don't know if you have to be a supporter to join the 520H club on here, but I would suggest that too. I recently acquired a 1984 Work Horse GT-1600 Wheel Horse- to grow the herd. It has a twin Briggs, and a manual transmission. I can't wait to dig into it also ! Here are some before and after pics of my 520H to maybe give you a little motivation...

If you like batter-dipped fish, you grind up a couple of batteries, and dip the fish before frying. That's another one of those warnings required by the lawyers for the customers with no common sense, like "Do not drink the gasoline."

All: Ah yes, the infamous Firestone "500" radial. The owner of the painting company I worked for during the summers I was in high school bought a brand new 1970 or 1971 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon that had those tires on it as delivered. He had the car about 1 week and packed up the family to go to the New Hampshire lake region for a weeks vacation - about a 300 mile trip. Three of the four tires blew out by the time they returned. The car went back to the dealer to get 5 different brand tires installed for free (only after he reminded them of all his past commercial business there)...... Bill
