17 pointsMy wife Lola is going through some tests today after a rather scary cardiac event Tuesday evening. Anyone who has an order in on my website or an order from the show, please be patient with us through this difficult time. I will get your decals to you as soon as I can. Thank you in advance for your understanding Sincerely Terry

14 pointsHere's a few pics from Trina from this last weekend. Hiking trip up Tumbledown Mountain in Weld Maine. Just a couple to call out ahead of time. First is the track we took. Second is me standing beside a boulder. Note that you can't see the top or the right hand side. That's probably a third of this giant mass of rock in the picture.

10 pointsBecause of the recent surgery I was directed not to go on any tractor rides for a while. Today my daughter took over the mowing duties on the refurbed 310-8 with 42'' SD mower. The grass averaged 8'' high but was very dry so the 310 handled the task well. The first picture was taken 18 years ago on her 93 520-H and the second picture was taken today. This was her first time mowing with an 8- speed. I started her out making 2 laps around the yard with the mower disengaged to get the feel of the 8-speed vs the Hydro. On the second lap she stopped and said to me when are you going turn the deck on so I can get this lawn done with a big smile, and I knew right then she was ready. The son I never had I guess and I was extremely proud of her. She did a great job and took right to it. Never hurts to introduce a youngster to power equipment as long as all safety procedures are explained and followed. I am hoping she will be present at this years Meet & Greet.

8 pointsWent to replace belt cover on my 520 and found some real nastiness . Sometime in its life the slack on the starter cable got tangled in a couple of different parts such as the belt, steering sector and it looks like the PTO also. It had some good slices. Refitted a new cable and routed it and secured it properly. Been wanting to drill my cover for a long time but I found these nicely done ones at the show. What a difference. The amount of air coming out of there is astounding. Some peace of mind about rear cylinder now.

8 pointsDragging a couple of horses and some implements out of the weeds today after years of neglect. Will post better pics and let you know what I got later.

7 pointsSo I saw an ad for Wheel Horse tractors and implements. Well I had to go look. The gentleman thought he was setting on a goldmine. He took me to two different properties to show me all he had. It all had been sitting in weeds and brush for some time. The one tractor had trees growing through it. We were so far apart on what he was thinking it is worth and what I would pay for it. Later that night he called and asked what if any I wanted. I explained that they would be hard to move as all tires are flat and the plows are on them and they are buried in weeds. I said I would ask to see if I could borrow a trailer. Well then he said he had one and deliver it all. How could I say no ? So here it is. I had it only for a few hours and already sold the cultivator. I cleaned the huge nest out of the blower housing on the 500 Special. Sprayed some starting fluid in the carb gave it a few pulls and it was running. I did not try to shift it in and out of gear. Waiting on that. The other tractor I am not sure what it is. I thought it was an 857 but the side cover says something else. Looks like 855 ? Not sure. Anyways I'm tired. More to come.

6 pointsThanks Karl and everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We got wonderful news just an hour ago. No heart damage. No blockage. Her BP was so high it caused similar symptoms as a cardiac event would. Got her BP under control now. She was more likely to have a stroke than a heart attack. I'll be back in the shop working on orders Monday. Obviously we are feeling very relieved. Thanks again Terry

6 pointsWell my friend I turned onto Wheel Horses, by letting him use mine as they sell themselves, finally stumbled into the right deal on a nice one. He picked up this 417a with a 42" rear discharge deck and already rigged up with a box blade as well! Awesome find and happy a deal came together for him! He may be joining this place before long... Here's the rig!

5 pointsYes Sir, laser engraving is my full time job now, my previous employer went belly up. I’ve done a lot of research and testing with this thing. The price these cost for a quantity machine is insane. Here’s some stuff I’ve done…. Steel, aluminum, stone, plastics, leather…deep engraving to .001 deep engrave.

5 pointsA big shout out to pfrederi ! Paul noted a way to test the regulator on a starter/generator tractor that involves running a test wire from field to ground with switch on . I had a bad regulator on my 702 and did not know it. The regulator had shorted out with the generator wire lead under the regular grounding out on the s/g housing.

5 pointsYou can buy the Facet pump at Napa #610-1051 and buy local and help keep a store open. A couple bucks more but if there's a problem you can at least deal with a person face to face. As opposed to giving Evil Bay or Amazon more business. Nothing wrong with saving a few bucks but I'm getting tired of businesses closing because of the internet.

5 pointsThe kids helping me get the 1045 right. Slowly but surly it’s coming along.

4 pointsIt looks like You could have the answer to the drought/wet weather conditions we are suffering from on both sides of the pond! If the folks in the States that are affected by extremely high temperatures etc, send us, over here, all of their ponchos and wet weather gear, and in return, we will send Sun cream and sun shades. This is guaranteed to bring you cooler weather and rain, and I’ll be able to cut my hay and dry it before Christmas!

4 pointsJust wanted to share the up grade that I did on my air tank. It seemed like it took for ever to fill the tank with a tire chuck and my hand would get sore holding the chuck on to the fitting. Switched to a locking tire chuck, but it still took for ever. My up grade allows me to plug the air line directly on to the tank, open the ball valve and BAMM the air tank is at maximum PSI in about 30 seconds or less. Shut the ball valve off and I'm off to use my tank in a remote location. Highly recommend this up grade.

3 pointsHi all, I am starting my restoration of my 1987 Wheel Horse 418-C. It runs perfectly and Kohler Magnum 18 purrs like a kitten but it needs a new paint job. I bought this tractor at the Wheel Horse Show in PA this last weekend and I am planning on restoring it and posting update photos... Here are some pics of the tractor itself... I already started taking some things apart to prep for the restoration. I already have another steering wheel to replace the warped one and I have another seat that is much better condition to put on it. Also the previous owner added the chrome breather cover and muffler cover. Wish me luck!!

3 pointsHello, I am a new member on this forum and I live in Belgium. I recently acquired a Raider 12 - 4 speed tractor with a Kohler engine. So now I'm looking for all possible information (photos - manuals - parts list .....) for putting the WH back into use. The only number I could find so far was a serial number on a plate: 33812. Thank you very much for the help. Jax

3 pointsNo Wheel Horse tractor was positive ground. They do make those tractor batteries with the terminals reversed.

3 pointsIf you don't have a flywheel puller, I would suggest taking it to a shop. You could easily make a bad situation a lot worse.

3 pointsMy feelings exactly, and it comes with bolts and fittings, $66.00 and change at my NAPA ,lets help keep local shops open, and our venders also. I always thought that local establishments and their employees help me pay local taxes and such, why send our money to foreign countries. Bob

3 points1940 Farmall H, runs good, just need some cosmetic love (and the gas tank cleaned and put back on) 1944 Farmall B with Henderson Midget loader. I used this one a lot. 1944 Ford 2N. 1947 Farmall Cub (first year of the Cub).

3 pointsI just saw that they're sold out until August. I'm glad I got mine when I did. No, they're not cheap, but you're getting a miniature version of an actual tractor tire that should last into forever. v

3 pointsThe 418-C is one tough tractor. Mine is primarily used for snow plowing but also runs my leaf blower.
-
2 pointsSee, and it'll accelerate, corner, and stop in dry, rain, and snow beautifully as well. Worth every peso.
-
2 pointsIsn't there an old saying that "it is easier to ask forgiveness than ask permission"?
-
2 pointsDon't forget the fried taters! ( In lard if you please! )
-
2 pointsFunny pictures here. The birds were all chicks in 2018. We’ve been getting a couple double yolkers lately. Now, a pullet egg pops out!
-
2 pointsWent to a junkyard with my brother to get parts for his car and saw a cool 211-5 that I wish I had more money with me to buy. I was walking by and saw the hood and realized what it was and had to look at it.
-
2 pointsNo Chrome on 418-C originally. had higher gearing (faster) I didn't think it had all the idiot lights....

2 pointsThe Saturday parade was not as big as yesterday's but Wild Bill's enthusiasm was! The 2021 raffle tractor ("C" Cab Truck) is under construction and will be a great prize to win. We even had a miniature model of the Pond Senior in the parade.
