10 pointsI made up this adapter to offset the hitch ball so I can more easily see the side of my trailer as I back it into the storage building. Made parking the trailer up tight to one side very easy.

7 pointsRylee and I completed our 6k this morning. Most children in third world countries travel on average 6 kilometers just for dirty water. Many don’t survive past 5 years old, due to parasites and disease in the water source. For each person who crossed a World Vision finish line today, one less child needs to search for that dirty water. My legs, my knees, my feet... the pain will be short lived. The little kids on our backs, I’m sure they appreciate the effort!

6 pointsI think the 520HC was faster but like mentioned only by maybe 1mph. Too much work for me at this point. It will be quick enough for her. I may go just a little taller with the tires when the time comes. Want to get everything figured out first before teardown and paint.

5 pointsYou guys are going to love this: So, I have been doing a butt load of work with the old '67 L-157. Made a road where there was no road. Brought in dirt, gravel, rock, stone, (over 50 trailer-fulls of dirt alone). This path did not exist before, and was just an uncrossable ditch. Ripped a canal all the way up to the house for my pond aerator air hose (4 inch conduit). Then I put the dirt back with my dozer blade. Don

5 pointsTime for the stud holes. Transfer punches are the "cats meow" when it comes to something like this. Guaranteed to be in the center. They are worth their weight in gold. I like to mark 1 hole, drill it, then bolt the pieces together so nothing drifts around while marking the other holes.

4 pointsGreat pics @Bailey855 ironically 1992 is almost 30 years ago😳! I grew up using an 875 that we restored about 5 years ago. There is a write up in the restore section of the forum with LOTS of old time pics including this one my dad, myself, and my younger brother back in the summer of 1983. Love the history and familial connection to the Wheel Horse GT in your case as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the story as well🙌🏻

4 pointsThis is the item, 200 Amps, very easy to control and it welds beautifully. The cables and electrode holder are so much beefier than my old one, much more Industrial. The welder itself weighs less than a couple of boxes of rods so its real easy to get to job sites. Also works off lo g extension cable runs or from my generator so I'm totally mobile.

4 pointsTrina and I took the Cinnamon Horse C160 with the MacKissic chipper down the street to a local retired lady's house. Her husband passed last fall and she needed help getting her yard cleaned up. The machine did very well. Trina and I both were very impressed with the power it has. We chipped/shredded 3 small brush piles and a fair assortment of leaves in about 2-1/2 hours. Lots more to do.... On another day. Ready to go. Here's a before and after. Zoom in to see the piles are gone and chips up the far bank. The mound that lines up with the tractor seat is a very old burn pile. It'll be reduced a little more next time we head down there. I'll need to figure out proper alignment for the PTO to chipper belt. Ate most of a belt in 2 hours use. Might need an extra guide too. Quite a reach for a 1/2" belt.

3 pointsFrom what I have read about the BS it is usually hot or rains. Decided on a low budget awning to help keep some sun off of the entry side and also a place to sit under for shade or rain. Patti and I set this up this afternoon and made a huge difference not being in direct sunlight. We also received a 10 minute shower and shed the water well. Just a small addition to the conversion from a work to camping trailer, but every little bit hopefully adds to more comfort.

3 pointsThere was thread not long ago that discussed H vs HC gearing (and some other models as well) I remember that it was the short-lived 520-HC ('88-89) that was a bit faster. Same Eaton 1100 as the "H" but its transaxle was geared a bit higher. If I recall correctly, it was 7.5 max vs. 5.6 on the H (?) If you could fit 30" tires (?) and kept your "regular" transaxle it'd up the top speed by 30% -- 5.6 on the 23's to 7.3 mph. I'm sure a "road gear" would be neat for some folks that travel on smooth surfaces, but for me the current max is bouncy enough!

3 pointsDrilled out the old stud holes just to clean them for welding. The little pieces in the bottom pic are cut 1/8" thinner then the wheel thickness. They will be centered in each of the old stud holes and rosette welded in place.

3 pointsI thought I took step-by-step photos but didn't. This is the final result. I made a block off plate with a hose barb threaded into it. It works quite well and eliminated the cam lobe/fuel pump failure I was informed about here. It is an easy enough update.

2 pointsLooks like there is an engine ID tag on the front left. Tell us what is on the tag. K-90 3.5 hsp was one of the factory options. That seat spring is on backwards also. Can you show us a picture of the tractor from the right side, especially the engine / transmission fan belt area??

2 pointsJust bought this off ebay.... Its a wheeled walk behind strimmer. Nice Honda engine and heavy duty cutter head so it will deal with pretty tough brush. I bought it thinking it might modify into a tow behind but I will see how it goes as a walk behind first. Mick

2 pointsI use both RD and SD fairly often (and also have both in same size) RD appears to cut as well as SD (or close ?) - but most times the yard looks better after cut with SD ... the clippings will often 'clump' behind the RD deck - especially if the grass is high

2 pointsI get tagged quite often, as I once posted a picture of my hub puller. I thought I would post a few pics and it in action on a 40 year old hub that had slipped in and had no set screw. This thing was tight, I had already used a lot of penetrating fluid and traditional puller. Time to bring out the big guns - 6 ton bottle jack and hub adapter from another tractor. Plus a lot of heat - 5-10 minutes before the relief valve was no longer kicking in. having torn down half a dozen transmissions and rebuilt them, I dug out old faithful to do the job. 6 ton bottle jack plus 5 mins of heat, the jack relief valve was kicking in. Another few mins of heat and result! Despite a lot of penetrating fluid - which no doubt burned off - you can see just how much friction there was. Video for those wanting to see it in action.

2 pointsBlock off the fuel pump mounting hole on the engine with a plate. Install a hose barb in the plate and you can hook a vacuum line to it and use a Briggs & Stratton style vacuum fuel pump.

2 pointsJust waxed the 857 and the 1075, along with the trailer. Got it done before it got to hot outside. The 857 sure looks good. The 1075 not so much. The paint on it is in bad shape. I am undecided as to what I want to do with it. Leaning towards leaving it alone and just have a custom set of decals made by @Vinylguy.

2 pointsLooks good Mike! I have these custom made. Mike's particular one is extra long to fit B's,C's and Blackhoods with the longer hood. Cost is $50.00 plus shipping depending on steel prices. I make nothing on them. I have a retired friend who is a retired welder/fabricator that does them for me.
