13 pointsI’ve been warned... so now I’m safe! then I look carefully, there’s a random drywall screw on the floor under the chair!

13 pointsI have not been happy with the way my C145 snow pusher steers with the turf tires on the front. Even with the blade lifted it would push really bad when trying to turn. I had picked up a used set of Carlisle X Trac tires to try out. Yesterday I stopped over to @WHX24's for a visit so I took my front wheels along to change the tires out. BTW the Harbor Freight small tire changer works well. It would work a little easier if it were it was mounted solid instead of on a rolling cart. It is much better than trying to mount them with spoons while trying to hold them still. This morning I put the wheels back on the tractor & went for a test run. With the turf tires I would have to constantly counter steer to keep the tractor strait while plowing with the blade at an angle. With the new tires turning the steering wheel is a little bit harder but, the tractor now goes where ever I point it. Very happy with the new kicks !! Of course it didn't happen with out pics.

12 pointsPicked up a nice original 401 suburban this morning. All original just need to find a patinaed fairbanks recoil. Way to start thr new year off with a bang

9 pointsThese are some of the tools I have received over the years from my family, for Christmas, my birthday or whatever. I would not say they are useless, they are just things I probably would not have bought for myself. A chuck key my daughter gave me. The guy told her it was for drills. "You have drills!" "Why yes, yes I do. Thank you hon." Caulk smoother outters. The yellow one you slide right on the the caulk spout, and the caulk shoots out the end. Might work, I don't know, never tried it. An adjustable wrench. Use to carry it in my work truck, have used it on occasion Self adjusting socket. Adjusts itself from 5/16 to 3/4. Don't have a lot of faith in this one, have never tried it A wrench with 8 different sizes. I have SAE and metric version. Actually works pretty well. Handy in the truck, doesn't take op a lot of room. Battery operated tape measure. Could you imagine showing up at the job site with one of these? (have no idea why the print turned red.....oh well) Craftsman 75th Anniversary commemorative 3/8 drive ratchet my son gave me. Never been out of the box. Not sure what year that was. Magnetic wrist band. Wouldn't want to be tripping on those run away bottle caps

9 pointsI got my shopping done for 2021 Christmas. Picked up over $600 worth of toys at a good discount. Now to find a safe place to store for next years Toys for Tots drive.

8 pointsMorning guys and gals, so it's a new year? What do you know May this year be better than last, course it wouldn't take much. If we at least have the Big Show it will be a good year. "And that's all I have to say about that."

7 pointsGot the front lights wired up and working on Trina's Pig Pen 867. Weight on. Front roller chains on. Plow is mounted. Both of our tractors are ready for snow. Expecting 4 or 5 inches by mid afternoon tomorrow.
-
7 pointsIf someone wants to sell a horse, and someone buys it, it beats heading to the glue factory any day. I applaud any of us that has the room and the love to keep this going. I'll be thinning my herd someday. I just hope to find those of you to keep them vital.

7 pointsHere's to a fresh start With Wheelhorses at the heart. A New Year begins!!

6 pointsOut on the trails picking up the mess from the previous storms today and found some larger than usual tracks in the remaining snow. At first I was thinking a young moose which we have had roaming the trails but thinking this probably is a 3 ish year old Buck ? What say you @WHX24 @pullstart @Ed Kennell your expert opinion appreciated. Still some snow left out back. Also brought a nice load of white birch bark in for getting the woodstove fires a jump start when needed.

6 pointsI was thinking this was little @pullstart as a boy and that’s why he is the way he is...???

6 pointsWhen I read the title for this post I was expecting to see that Mrs. P had finally fitted you with one of these.

6 pointsAll of those are great! Key: I always lose mine for the drill press. ( Even when I finish and chuck it tight into the chuck) ( How much can a chuck hold if a chuck was tight with out a chuck key) Caulk smoother works well. (don't wipe it off on your pants) Adj. wrench works well also for tapping a stuck pickle jar or beer bottle cap! Adjusting socket is awesome for the desk to hold your favorite pen. Multi wrench is great when you need a small hammer! Auto tape is also great for the desk. (something to play with when you're on the phone with your wife or her mother) (I worked with a guy who had one, we wore it out just playing with it) Craftsman ratchet is great for when you're bored. (either polish it to pass time or put it on the mantle and install track lighting to take up some time) Magnetic wrist band is great when watching TV. ( sit on the couch put your wrist between the cushions and collect stray thumb tacks sewing needles ect. Don't want to sit on any of those with a bowl of nacho's in your lap)

6 pointsI was hoping for a pic of you with either a suit of armor (stay away from live wires) or wrapped in styrofoam (stay away from lacquer thinner)

6 pointsHAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!! I’m ready for a new year! But I also realize it’ll take awhile to get things back on track. In my opinion, we are headed in the right direction to get some sort of normalcy back in our lives. Here’s hoping the summer antique/tractor/machinery/flea market show schedules happens as planned

5 pointsJust when I thought that it was going to be a Christmas without Wheel Horse, @WHX24 came to the rescue. Along with the shirts there are some dog point screws, rags, & some other provisions.

5 pointsOn a more serious note, I had a neighbor bring me his push mower he couldn't get started. Turned out his recoil rope kept breaking so he just tied the handle to what was left. Ended up with a cord about a foot and a half long. Bout tore my arm off the first time I gave it a yank!

5 pointsMust have missed something. I went to bed about 7:45pm. Listened to the rhythm of the pouring rain. Happy New Year.
-
5 pointsListening to the freezing rain as we type. Hopefully It'll wash 2020 down the drain, though I'm not very hopeful for the future given certain circumstances.. Hopefully It'll all turn out alright.
-
5 pointsI also picked up this 1971 Sears Custom 8m within the same week. I seem to have added a tractor hobby over night somehow haha. This is my workshop. It is small but it is my favorite place to be.
-
5 pointsI'm here wishing you a happy and prosperous 2021 from my big Pond!
-
5 pointsGot it Zeek. I just buy...I don't distribute. You'll have to send a letter to the man and try to get on his "nice" list.

4 pointsMaybe more lazy than tough Ed. There's an extra 418-C out there doing nothing since swapping the 2 stage to a 520-HC, plus a snow/dozer blade or 2 somewhere that were supposed to be a new improved bike build. Or, maybe it's just old men and change don't mix well? I like that little 654 for some reason even though it's been mechanically neglected over the past few years.
