I didn’t even know this was available!! If I’m not in the garage, then I’ll be doing some light reading!! It comes with a DVD. The whole story of Cecil Pond! I got it for a Christmas present.

Hi from the uk here are some of my horses.

There’s actually three different editions, all from the same author. I’m fortunate enough to have all of them and even more fortunate to have them signed in person by Cecil Pond and Michael Martino. Huge added bonus is that two of them were on my birthday! What a great present ! Michael certainly did his homework on this, these books really are a wealth of information.

Got the subframe built up for the charger loader today. This little harbor freight welder seems to do great with 3/16 thick tubing. I am still learning how to weld. Never been taught and the only time i gain experience is when i need to build or fix things. I think im doing it right lol

Have you seen the picture of my commando 8 pictured at Stone Henge in UK . I spent a week with Mike and his family in 2014 and whilst I was with him I help him box up all the black special final edition and had a signed copy no1 from Mike . Very special book to me

I may not have done it at home, but we have all the powder coat needs at work.. I tried out the powder coat chrome on the steering shaft in the battery tie down in the brake and clutch rod too.

This was Thursday before the disappearing snow act, or at least 80% of it. And yes @Sparky the Brook is passable, way easier than snowshoes to get to the cabin. Good call.

Pulled the head on a non-running K301 I picked up a couple years ago. Big reveal always wonder what the piston will be stamped. STD .010 OK .030 parts pile...Had to clean off some carbon for the big reveal .003 cylinder wall looks good. This one will get stripped down and off to the machine shop for bore and grind...

Been working on Trina's Pigpen 867 a little the last month or so. The starter/generator has needed a bearing replaced for a looong time so I got that done. Replaced both bearings and cleaned it up some inside. Brushes were fine. Changed the engine oil. Last night I started adding a light circuit to it. Had headlights originally. I've ordered replacement sockets for the stock headlamp setup. I'll be adding some 3/4" white LEDs at the back and a small set off 2" round black LEDs at the front on magnetic bases that'll point out at forward left and right angles.

Stick a business card between the pad and the pulley and apply the pto. Hold pad tight to the card and tighten the bolts that mount the pad. Release the pto and remove the business card.

I just bought a Wheel Horse 416-8. The body parts need sanding and paint but engine and trans seem to be in good shape. I found a tag under the seat listing the model as 73420 and the serial number srarting with 59001. I am soaking the dirt off to get the rest of the numbers. One of my questions is what color red do people use to repaint their WH? I am sure that I will have a lot more questions as time goes on. Thanks Pete

It's been like 8 months since I was last on here... So I'm building a 1/16 scale RC semi truck. It's going to be almost 6 inches wide not counting the mirrors and almost 7 inches wide including them, almost 20 inches long, and 7 inches tall. The frame will be made of 4 pieces of 1/4" aluminum square tubing, 2 stacked on each side to get each frame to be 1/4" wide and 1/2" tall. For drive, it's going to have 2 crappy RC motors geared together, with a 2 speed gearbox with a crawler and a "road" gear, then it's going to go to a transfer case to give it 6 wheel drive. For tires, I'm going to try and find the 2.5" OD, .5" wide, and 1.5" rim tires and I can't I'm going to get a pair of wider solid tires and cut them in half to fit the rims. Most of it will be 3d printed, and even still it will weight a lot. I'm pretty excited.

Hello, I had never heard of Wheel Horse until October when I saw an RJ58 on eBay. I have a 3.5 year old that loves tractors, so on October 20th I purchased the tractor for Santa Clause to deliver. I was not able to pick it up until October 30th because I had to drive 3.5 hours one way to Fastenal in Enterprise, AL. I wasn't able to study the tractor until November 1st because I had damage from hurricane Zeta. What I found was a total piece of junk that the seller lied about, misrepresented, or failed to mention certain things wrong. I have attached pictures of before and after. It took 5 weeks to get the tractor in working order and presentable. I will continue to look for the correct parts and re-do the tractor when I have all of the parts.

19 too cold Ed?!?!? Guess I can't call ya a sally tho my stand is heated ! May have to try that stew ...looks really good. The Cabelas #22 grinder had no problems with 20 lbs of meat yesterday. Took longer to clean it up than to grind. Cindy got this grinder for me for Christmas quite a few years ago and has all the stuffing tubes too. I think the motor is like a 1 HP! An expensive grinder at the time but worth it. I have never canned Jeff but made give it a shot should I get a doe. My dad used to can and always had a jar in deer camp. I don't think he churched it up at all, maybe salt and that's it. I should get out there today as these girls were in back of the shop last nite. Pic was taken out the kitchen window!

Wow..Ijust finished posting the above when Mrs.K called me for dinner. This is what she served. One of my favorites ..deer stew and it is fork tender. Just substitute venison for the beef and follow McCoricks recipe on the back of the packet. Easy peasy.

While the Predator engine did work well, I think this one just looks better. I need to find some sort of fuel tank that will fit under the seat pan, and install either a mechanical or electric fuel pump. I also installed a seat I had on hand.

Got my rear weight setup for the charger 12 loader from work today. These drums weigh 110 a piece. They fit tightly inside eachother as shown. The bottom one will bolted to the loader frame behind the axle, then i can add the top drum for extra weight as needed. I can also fit a fairly large bucket of concrete inside them as well. Should work good and cant be the price of free

Just wanted to edit this topic a little bit. Thank you to both of you above for supplying the information. I found a hydraulic repair facility about 30 minutes from me that I drive within a quarter mile of on the way to and from work everyday and I didn't know they were there. Called the fella on the phone and he seems really good to talk to and more than willing to help. Pricing is excellent as well. I'll keep you posted.

Something they ex and I done was cube up the hams and used a "pressure cooker" to can them, added 1 or 2 beef bullion cubes in a quart mason jar usually made around 6-10 qts per deer, seriously fork tender like pot roast from a crock pot, after canning empty into a warm skillet add A-1 delish. Or crock pot a ham roast with brown or beef gravy chopped onions and mushrooms, really don't have to "church" it up much. For jerky in usually ground the neck , shoulder and small ham chunks marinated with a blend of Worchester, Teriyaki, brown sugar, garlic and onion powder, season-all salt ect (use what spices you what you like here hot salty sweet smokey ect) fed through a "jerky" gun and dried on a dehydrator.
