If you look close you will see 2 occupants in the drivers compartment, but wait is that @pullstart driving with @WHX24 riding shotgun , no it can't be it must be Jim at the controls, if Kevin was driving the front wheels would be in the air, especially when pulling a load .In all seriousness hope you all enjoy your Holiday and pray for a better 2021, stay safe all.

7 pointsWe're making our final check for the "The Trip". The list has been checked and double checked. The toys and other goodies have been inspected and loaded onto the sleigh. The deer have been fed and groom (they have to look good you know), and they're pumped to make the trip. I do feel sorry for those of you who are receiving socks and underwear. I won't mention who is getting the kiddie underwear, but some of them are very respected here on RS. BTW, I love the decor, but it could use a bit more....Santa.....Ho! Ho! Ho!

6 pointsMore progress today! PPG Shopline #70019 single stage urethane over Nason 2K urethane primer/ DTM sealer. Chassis and small parts done with Marhyde aerosol etch primer and custom mixed Shopline single stage enamel in aerosol as well. This "what red is correct" paint stuff has been beat to death 400 times over, but a couple things I 'learned' on this go round, hopefully it can be put to good use if someone is on the fence with paint colors..... In pic 1- thats IH 2150 red/PPG 71310 on the left, and IH 50 red/PPG 70019 on the right. To each his own, but I like dark reds. My 520H was done in the paint on the left and I was a little disappointed. This time I went for the early IH50 versus 2150 and its perfect. Also- Worried about running low on the aerosol cans of IH50, I painted the non-visible areas of the chassis with a can of Duplicolor red engine enamel- DE1653. When dry, it is so close to the IH50 I dont think anyone would even notice unless painting two panels and putting them together side by side. Stay tuned- hope to sneak over to the shop Saturday and turn this pile of freshly painted parts back into a tractor!

6 pointsI added some supports to my rear suitcase weight bracket today. Until now all the weight was hanging from the receiver hitch. When I built the subframe I drilled a pair of holes at the rear in prep for this and just never got around to it. I bent up some 3/16 x 1 1/2” flat bar. I put a jack under the weight rack to lift it up when drilling the holes in the braces and the rack. In my mind that would maximize the amount of weight the braces/subframe would support and minimize the amount of weight on the hitch. It seemed to work. When everything was reassembled the rack was no longer resting in the bottom of the 2” receiver.

5 pointsMerry Christmas Eve everyone. Had a chance for a little garage time. It's a crude little bugger but I think it will work. It only has to last for 72 pieces lol. I also took the opportunity on my cool down time to do a bit of math. Without the blades factored in it's looking like 1.34 pounds per square inch. I dont know if that's more or less then what I was expecting.

5 pointsGot my rear weight setup for the charger 12 loader from work today. These drums weigh 110 a piece. They fit tightly inside eachother as shown. The bottom one will bolted to the loader frame behind the axle, then i can add the top drum for extra weight as needed. I can also fit a fairly large bucket of concrete inside them as well. Should work good and cant be the price of free

5 pointsThanks to everybody for the replies, Sorry about the classified confusion, I am not very good with electronics and this is my first time on a forum, I will try to fix it. I got the tractor from a nice gentleman that lived up in Taos where they get more snow, and i do have all the attachments, wheel weights, chains and counterbalance box for the rear. Very nice hearing from other wheel horse peeps, I love my mower, it is a beast. Merry Christmas

4 pointsLong story short, it’s the old mans. He plays with muscle cars as a hobby and has a whole shop for it. I own a hotrod/restoration shop and run it out of his building. Very fortunate to say the least. If my rent was half of what he could charge I’d be down the tubes in a month ha.

4 pointsLooks like warmer temps and rain in the forecast so I figured might as well take a trail ride and check the trails. Seems the Deer, Bobcats and coyotes are enjoying them as well. On page # 1 post # 19 there is a picture of the brook full bore and I am thinking we may see that with what awaits us including power outages. We shall see.

4 pointsYesterday, we flapped our wings real hard and landed ourselves in the baggage claim in Detroit, MI. It was 50-ish outside and t-shift weather still if you ask me. We drove home and sorted a few things and hit the hay. This morning, everything is white! Not 35” white, but enough to say it might be a white Christmas! Enjoy your family everyone, and give someone you love a phone call, a hug or kiss. We need that for our soul, maybe more than we need to distance.

4 pointsAbout 300 pounds. My buddy works at a JD dealership and found the 7 - 42 lb weights in their used weight pile that I cleaned up and painted black(yes there’s some green paint under there). The weight holder itself weighs about 20 lbs. Here are some pics when I built it a couple years ago.

3 pointsJust curious, At the first TSC did you make sure the numbers on the belt matched the sleeve? People will by 2 or 3 belts not knowing what size they need and return what they don't use and mix them up. I've had it happen more than once.

3 pointsFor one thing the rockshaft linkages is all the right side of the driveshaft manual/hydro, probably to keep the hydraulic lines from a possible wear point, the hydro's before 1974 had the motion control on the left under the steering wheel which in a sense was a better idea with the lift mechanism on the right.

3 pointsJust wanted to edit this topic a little bit. Thank you to both of you above for supplying the information. I found a hydraulic repair facility about 30 minutes from me that I drive within a quarter mile of on the way to and from work everyday and I didn't know they were there. Called the fella on the phone and he seems really good to talk to and more than willing to help. Pricing is excellent as well. I'll keep you posted.
