7 pointsBeen a long time since I posted. Hope everyone is doing well. I work doing HVAC In a medical center and have been working quite a bit. Anyway my son and I made a run to the local salvage yard today to cleanup all the scrap steel that’s been laying around. My wife was happy to see us finally getting some money for our junk instead of paying to get rid of it. Well..... it cost us $20 but we got another horse. let’s see how this goes. 312-8 with SD deck.

6 pointsWell I asked if I should and none of you stopped me, I blame all of you ! After seeing this at a garage sale and passing on it, I had a change of heart and decided to go take a better look at it. Well went back to the house and no more garage sale and no one living there. Drove by the house several times until today when I saw someone there. He still had it. Took me a lil bit to get it to "roll". I saw roll but it dosnt roll. All 4 tires flat, 3 the beads are broke. Put in neutral and had to rock it some to unstick it. Well the tranny spins. Now what? I was alone and he wouldnt help me. He has a hernia and going for surgery. If I wanted it I was going to have to do it myself. Of course the driveway is long and cant get my truck down it cause of all the " garage sale stuff" that was still all over it. Dragged this POS all the way to the street. Now what? I had my ramps but its not rolling because of the tires. First I tried lifting the front on to the tailgate. Guess what... cant do that cause this thing twists in the middle. Cancer has made me much weaker then I was. I used to be able to lift the front ends on tailgate then lift up the back to shove it in. Not anymore. So i was struggling hard to get it up the ramps when a 72 year old man taking a walk offered to help me. Thank God ! I shoved it from behing, then he held the brake until I got a better grip and footing to shove again. Repeated that untill my heart was thumping out of my chest and I got it in. Thank God again. Well here it is.... home now. It is still in the back of my truck as it started pouring rain right after I took these pictures. The owner didnt charge for it as he WATCHED me fight so hard to get it. Took me over an hour. Well its " ours " now. You know the drill.... I need help. Anyone with any advice on these I want to hear it. Can anyone tell me what that thing on the back is ? As you see it came with the snow blower... is that thing on the back part of the snowblower attachment? I need to figure out how I am going to get it down and try to get air in the tires. Wish me LUCK !

4 pointsFor the past 10 years I have driven past a Dunk the clown set up as used at Fairs about 5 miles down the road from our house. I have wanted to stop in and ask if it were for sale as it sits in the yard overgrown with weeds and tall grass but in the 10 years I have never ever seen anyone out of the house in the yard which seems strange and afraid if I knock on the door a clown in full dress and make up may answer the door and I may freak out like a little kid at the circus. Anyway, I was thinking maybe next year at the Meet & Greet in N.Berwick Maine because of the situation, we are planning to still have it this September. My question is do any of you members here have any idea who may make a good candidate to sit in the chair in full dress and go for a few dunks, do we have anyone willing to volunteer. Do we have any Clowns here up for the Challenge ?

3 pointsHello Gents, I'm a new owner of a 2000 520Lxi. It's a awesome tractor which came with a mower deck, snow blower attachment, plow blade and a Trailor...great condition and I will be spending the next few days going over it ie, cleaning changing fluids, plugs etc. Would there be any issues with switching to synthetic engine oil? Also, I would like a bagger for it but don't think I will be able to find one so I'm go to McGuiver the one from my old tractor. Any pics or suggestions would be appreciated... Thanks Wheelhoarsers

3 pointsThis morning I had the honor of being able to pick up a Suburban 400 (at least that's what I believe it is). No data plate and the not original engine didn't run. Didn't matter to me, ever since I picked up a 551 for one of my buddy's a few years ago, I fell in love with the '60 & '61 series tractors. Luckily, this one was close to my house (40 minutes) and still available when I contacted him. The not original Briggs was in pretty rough shape so in order to quench my thirst to drive it before end of day, I decided to do a 3 hp, $110 Predator swap from HF. This engine fired right up and had no issue driving this tractor around. It's pretty fast in 3rd gear. Tractor still needs some work, but it felt great to get this 60 year old machine back out and running. And I love the duallies! IMG_0433.mp4 IMG_0435.mp4

3 pointsHi guys, WheelhorseBob here. I'm fairly sure I was a member long ago but competing interests won the day. Anyway, I'm back and I finally have a life long desire fore filled. I just acquired a 520H born in 1993. I've owned a bunch of "Horses" over the years but I've always wanted a 520. This one needs a little cleaning etc.,but with only 318 hours I'm thinking it will be a keeper. Came with the 48" rear discharge deck and 44" dual stage snow blower. The attachments are in very nice shape. Anyway, I've never mowed with anything but a Wheel Horse and I'm 54 yeas old, I currently have a mint 312-8 with a 42 inch recycler and a 310-8 that has a 37" bagger for fall clean-up. Three Horses, I may have a problem...... -Bob.

3 pointsWhen I was using the 160 for plowing snow, I wanted to be able to move the blade and keep the left hand on the wheel. So I can operate the lever with a couple of fingers. There used to be a big mower scrapyard in the next village over and he had a C-160 hydro carcass in the pile so I cut the hydo lever off and cut the OE hydro lever and made what I think should have been there from the beginning.
