8 pointsOver the past year we've been getting more and more into the used parts end of the business . We are, however taking a different approach: most all of the used parts that we have for sale are either completely restored or mechanically refurbished. All our spindle assemblies are completely disassembled , cleaned and inspected, threads tapped, new bearings/ hardware installed when needed. We will sell used electrical components also, but only after testing. This is just a small sample of what we have so far, but everything seen in the photos is used. Our inventory is growing by 5-10 parts per week. Pm me with any needs.

7 pointsEd, Just brush what's left of your teeth and leave all the crazy science to those young whipper snappers. There's more important things to worry about like what's for dinner and finding that lost bottle of viagra pills. @bcgoldThat magnetic flux video is cool stuff.

6 pointsOk guys, I’ve been toying with this idea for a few years and I have most of the spare parts laying around. What do you get when you cross one really worn out wheel barrow tub, a manual trans, short frame, 16 up Briggs Vanguard, flipped axle, and hopefully two trashed suburban hoods welded into one? I don’t know, so what do you guys think? Worth it or just save the parts? Stretch the frame another foot or so or keep it short? Have I lost what’s left of my mind?

6 pointsNo suds fridge in my head Steve. But I have installed a hi-tech paper storage/dispenser system. APSD specs: holds 12 rolls any size single or double ply easy loading no batteries or magic charging system required automatic gravity fed roll positioning to correct height within reach of all size seated users NOS parts available at ACE or TSC If there is enough interest, I could offer these to supporters for 0.99 scents each with free shipping and an instructional DVD. Special rates on bulk orders. Please don't call for 30 minutes....I will be doing the required daily EPA testing of the system.

6 pointsED, being a turbine guy you can probably relate impedance to the vector analysis of forces applied to turbine blading. That should clear things up for you. As for the tooth brush charging and the phone won't, voodoo magic I guess, just brush twice a day and have regular check-ups.

5 pointsRoll cage, wheelie bars, 5point harness, and parachute may be required.

5 pointsI used ball joints but you could use heim if you wanted. Threaded rod from McMaster and a 1/4" black iron pipe nipple (6"). You have to run a 3/8" drill through the pipe to clean out the weld inside. but it is easy to do, The pipe reinforces the threaded rod. i have them on a few horses no problems.

5 pointsWell I hate to ruin a moment for you but the McChicken has nothing on a Hardee’s or Bojangles’ chicken biscuit. Are they good?..... yes. But no comparison. So now you have something else to look forward to

5 pointsHow about a beer refrigerator in the bathroom for those who, while on the throne of knowledge, are looking around for something to think about.

5 pointsImpedance is the sum of the resistance and reactance in an AC circuit, especially helpful in system configurations. With that being said, the older I get, the more better it is to just know it does and not so much how! Don't want to clutter up with extra molecules of knowledge, I have been know to walk out to the garage and forgot why I went out there! (But I solved that problem, put a fredge out there with beer) No wasted trips, maybe. Hey ED, I doubt if impedance will solve your tractor battery problem, but being in Amish country, the answer may be closer than you think. How about something along the line of the automated milking machines? Vacuum couplers connected to a central charging unit with water cooled confubualtatory selective DC Voltage. I got to go out to the garage.

4 points@19richie66 @dells68 I’ve been trying for a week to get my hands on a Chicken Biscuit and a Chicken McGriddles! Here’s to you guys! At the 2018 Big Show us three fellas, along with Karen, Becca and Emory went to an unforgettable dinner eating spicy wings, chasing fireflies and talking about chicken biscuits! I’ve been waiting for a trip to the south for a fresh sammy ever since, but they finally came to me, on Dell’s birthday of all days to unveil!

4 pointsNo mater what angle I look at these Deestone 4.00 -8 three rib tires I like them! I am getting closer to finishing up, I had to make the missing rod and hand wheel to set the level for attachments. I did not like how it could possibly rattle around if it did not have any weight on it so I put a carb spring on it. Funny thing when I cleaned up my simplicity tiller motor it was a repainted wheel horse red before. I figured it was a transplant from something else as it was electric start. I am not sure where the gas tank would go so I stuck it behind the dash, the tank fit nicely with only one bracket to be made and a hole for the fuel line behind the dash. I think I will have this done and my ow worked over before I need to break open a garden plot.

I highly recommend this little light. It cost me around $6 at Burlington coat factory of all places to get a light. LOL We were buying our grand baby new cloths and shoes and i spotted this. It is super bright!

3 pointsNormally hum about 0,5 - 2meter, it depends on. That was my reason, i built the Beast‘s FEL. see my last year Winter pics, there we had the complete February Wet heavy Snow in mass. Each day was a lot of Fun to deal with. That was my reason, to rework my Plowshield with a hydraulic sweep. I hoped for the same mass this year but nothing. Typically it begin with a bit in Nov. so about 10- 30 cm several day‘s ( weeks) then again massive on February. But this year at all just about 5cm, what melts the next day. not really worth to start an Engine, but i did once a short test of my Hydraulic Plowshield with 5 cm... once it is dang cold next few day‘s it warm and begins to Rain. i wish the half of rain was snow, that will be a mass. but so my horse and my Beast has just their Wintersleep except once a month, i fire up to recharge the Batteries. It‘s a bit frustrating, now i have great toy‘s, but nothing to play with.. 😎 Yesterday we had a bit Storm, windspeed was 110Km/h, what rips the strings from the plane of the Pavillion, then for about 5 min. On -2 deg. Snow, so i hoped it starts now but another 10 minutes later temp jumps up to +5 deg and all is done and it‘s raining again. That ain‘t fair.. actual readout of my Weatherstation : Time: 10-02-2020, 23:29:41 Temp: 6.16 °C Pressure: 930.00 H/Pa Humidity: 74.00 % Altitude: 529.58 Meter Wind: 86 Km/h Windpeak: 104Km/h

3 pointsEric. Below is what I did for the Black Horse. I used knackered rods cut down with the ends turned down and threaded. Both ends are right hand thread as I don't posses a eft hand die.

2 pointsMost scrapple is made from pork parts that don't pass their physical. Venison scrapple is not normally for sale. Not sayin pork scrapple is not good.....it is great, but low fat venison is better for your tubing.
-
2 pointsHardees has had a chicken biscuit for years. They also have porkchop with gravy biscuit, smoked sausage or patty biscuit, , steak and egg biscuit, ham egg n cheese biscuit, bacon egg and cheese biscuit....... getting hungry again. Can you tell I like Hardees? Bojangles has a cajun chicken biscuit that is awesome. Guess it just depends on where you live. @dells68 you’re in the hunt too..... come on.

2 pointsI know all you electrical wizards understand this, but can you explain to me (in hydraulic terms) how a rechargeable toothbrush passes current through a sealed nonconductor charging base. I understand electricity by relating it to hydraulics. Wire = pipe Resistance= pipe friction Voltage=pressure Amperage=flow Switch=valve Impedance= ??? About here is where I get stumped. Oh, and since this waterproof non-conductor charging system works on my toothbrush, Why isn't it used to recharge all devices. Instead of using 15 different connectors that are impossible to insert right side up without your glasses on. BTW, I laid my cell phone on the toothbrush charging base and it did not recharge. Hmm, could you make a charging cabinet that would keep 10 tractor batteries charged w/o connecting wires to the posts?
-
2 points@pullstart you gotta try a scrapple , egg and cheese sandwich the next time you are in central pa. Pretty tasty. The Amish make a good one.

2 pointsAgeed and dumb guys aside Brian.... most of us guys here but not all are just hobbyists and do not put bacon on the table with our tools. Speaking for my self some I do some I don't. If I need a tool to stay professional in my trade I will usually opt for the best but not necessarily a brand name like snap off...for wrenching on my horses I will always buy the cheapest thing I can lay my grubby hands on. After all if my horse breaks after my wrenching inability gives something my tractor buddies something to rib me about... gotta keep them guys in jokes! It helps that we are not flying horses at 33k ft. and even then if something goes 'cause I didn't torque properly give us some more male bonding repairing it! I remember seeing an episode of Orange County Choppers once wher they had to build a Snap off bike.. I wondered what the #€&¥ Snap Off paid them to do it and what they could have better spent ther money on to lessen the price of their tools or what not......lost my faith in Snap Off ever since. Thanks for the info Digger

2 pointsA whole lot smaller. Can of beans to give ya an idea of its size.

2 pointsEd, do you know how a transformer works? There is a primary coil and a secondary coil. No electrical connection between them, yet 120V in, 12V out. Your toothbrush base contains the primary coil and the toothbrush handle contains the secondary coil. Setting the toothbrush on the base brings the two coils within the close proximity of each other, just like a little step-down transformer. In other words...it's magic.

2 pointsPicked up @ 9" of snow today, so I finally got some seat time on the 16 auto that has the snow thrower on.
