9 pointsPrint outs are faster and easier You can write notes on the pages as well like after market parts numbe s etc. Old school still works.
-
8 pointsHope you didn't strain yourself cutting through that cardboard!! I was going to say a "Whack a Mole " table! Or one of those "aptitude test " thingy's
-
7 pointsHobarts don't use kanifiling bearings. This model uses Flanzilation bushings instead. It was a design upgrade back in 2007.
-
7 pointsObviously, it’s a bad flux capacitor reducer diode that won’t allow the Framis valve to open thereby inhibiting water flow. Problem solved.

6 pointsVery nice! I too have several work tables with holes in them... Though, mine are from drilling through projects to far and leaving holes in the table surface...
-
6 pointsI want you guys to know I just showed this to Trina. I showed her the title of the thread. Guess What This Is.... She says to me "It's clearly a table with holes." I had no argument. She won.

5 points@Vinylguy Thanks so much Terry... decal instantly appears like it should've always been there.

5 pointsOk here is the answer. Bear in mind my eyesight isn't the greatest anymore. I'm 6'1" and need a stool or ladder to look inside this control box: This machine blew the fuse as a tray would trip the final rinse circuit. So obviously the issue was somewhere in that circuit. Disconnected the reed switch and tested it for a short showed nothing along with the wires to it. The chemical coumpany soap dispenser unit is tied into the circuit also so that was disconnected. Ran the machine and a couple of trays went thru with no issues so I figured it was the dispenser motor but the third tray tripped the fuse so that wasn't the issue. Now I am out of fuses so I send for some more. I chat with the food service director whilst waiting and turn to look at the machine. At eye level I see some sort of thingy laying on top of the relay @troutbum63 mentioned. A few days earlier I worked on another machine and a stink bug flew out of the cabinet so at first I thought it was a bug @ebinmaine. I got on top of the stool and with a magnifying glass and a flashlight I found not a bug but a piece of wire insulation and a single strand of wire laying across the red wire and black wire on the front terminals of the relay. This machine had been worked on by someone else at some time and there were wire flicks all over the cabinet The red wire is tied into the rinse circuit. I removed this with a tiny pair of needle nose pliers. Persistence and luck pay off some time!

5 pointsThis probably belongs in the tools/equipment section but I don't care ain't often I come up with a good idea these days! Mods can move it they like.. Rescued this old cart out of Dad's garage... it has casters on it... anybody care to guess what it to be used for? Title of this section is a clue. Couple of strategically placed holes and some tearoff cardboard for easy clean up.

5 pointsSo does this mean that you will have tranny ready for paint next weekend??? You can even put it back together, I'll paint it as an assembly, that way you don't have to worry about scratching it.
-
5 pointsPicked up @ 9" of snow today, so I finally got some seat time on the 16 auto that has the snow thrower on.
-
4 pointsYou have all the shroud Magnums have. My suggestion, take off the plastic shroud and just put on an old school A/C cover. My Electro 16 works well with the old style A/C cover no freeze ups. Fits on a magnum no problem see it on a M-14

4 pointsAs a rule, on these Hobart washers, when the kanifling bearing starts to go it will pop that fuse .

4 pointsShort of being able to physically inspect the board, my first guess would be this red wire (yellow arrow) which appears to be going nowhere and in close proximity to ground.

3 pointsJust got my Block back from the machine shop today along with the crank. The guy that did this for me is well known in hot Rod Magazine for his work on V-8 engines. When I got there today to pick it up he was working on a racing engine which was a 408 chevy engine. I had my 321 bored .010 over and the crank ground and polished to .010 under. He also ground the valve seats as well. He only charged me 80 bucks cash no ticket. The guy is 80 years old and still going!!

3 pointsDefinitely, I have a 417-A that runs a two stage no problem. As a matter of fact it kicks ass !! That Kohler sounds great under a load. This picture was taken 7 years ago tomorrow.
-
3 pointsI had the urge to blurt out the answer but I saw it on Facebook too so I'll go out of character and be nice.

3 pointsNo pic's of Al's, which is really odd. I do have this pic of one with the deck on it. Here is a drool pic for you @wallfish

3 pointsWhat's nice is the casters & your waiting for bearings to show up just roll it out of the way. Need to come up with some storage containers for extra bearings, seals, dog points etc. For the first shelf. .. spare trannys going on the middle shelf. Got tired of clamping them in a vise... very unstable and almost lost the whole shebang once.
-
3 pointsWell I guess that was easy! 'Spose you smartys have a differential holder too!
-
2 pointsDrain over night with the front end as high as possible to get the fluid past the center hump of the transmission floor. Fill with diesel. Drive around a few minutes. Drain. I fill through the shifter. Dipstick hole works as well. Replace the boot if needed.
-
2 pointsYou are so going to like the big reverse speed advantage you will have with your Charger hydro...
-
2 pointsRan a 418-C with a 2 stage for years. Blasts right through just about anything. Just switched it on to a 520-HC this year and they run about the same.

2 pointsThese are cold starts -15 Celsius, the first video first start after getting the generator home, it has a bad miss. Second video is after valve adjustments, big difference. The Petter PJ engine will run on a diet of waste restaurant oil and 15 kw generator will be put to work heating coils to generate steam for essential oil extraction.

2 pointsBought a 520h & brought it home yesterday (you guys gave me an itch for one) {no pictures} and stored it at my sons house until I can make room for it. Garage & drive are full and I've got to put a couple more together and hopefully get some sold. They will be workers, not show tractors, as I do not have facilities for painting. A 417h with a rebuilt K301 engine, and a couple C121's with option of various attachments,,[or none]. I have a tiller I haven't been able to sell alone, a dozer blade, and a deck or two. Maybe, hopefully I can get some things moving. R.A.

2 pointsbeen doing some research on this one, tracked all the manuals down and came up with a game plan, going to pull the hh120 out and stick a predator into it for now. the patina is awesome on it. I cleaned up a spot on the fender. so it will get scuffed, buffed and oiled. the rims will get painted. and of course get the sickle bar going. it's way to nice and solid and complete to part out. should make a nice little project, just what I need another one in the collection.

2 pointsSounds like we have a couple of sallies here @JCM @Ed Kennell... try putting to sea in a submarine once... 'specially an old diesel boat! Never could figure the "silent service " in them unless submerged . Nuke boats yes much more quiet till backup diesels got lit off! Huh you said what?! !? Try working along side a 4500 psi HPAC sometime! Sorry to have to steal your thread here Craig but couldn't happen to a worst guy! As @pullstart said it's all good!
-
2 pointsFound one... this is a tractor show buddy of Dan and mine's John... he since sold it for some 4K + ??? It was a nice show runner and he had a built in cooler in the back for getting adult beverages into shows! He did have another one he was restoing wonder if he still has it. @CasualObserveris a big fan of Roofs....

2 pointsAfter reading the post on the genuine, rare and expensive WH front weight, I thought I'd show my cheapo version. Front mule drive minus kaput pressed steel pulley. Fitted with weight off a fitness machine given me free. Mounted on the Black Horse.

2 pointsA friend gave these to me shortly after moving back from Florida. It's cool seeing the variety of different packs.
