13 pointsPicked up a Wheel Horse Tub Cart from a retired co-worker and friend on Halloween. Kind of a late Birthday present to myself. Have been looking for a nice solid one for awhile. He said his Dad picked it up in 1965 along with the Wheel Horse he bought brand new.

7 pointsHi all, Saw this at a local auction sale, it's missing its carb and may have other issues but it looks very interesting.

7 pointsHere it is a 2014 7x16 RC enclosed trailer bought new in Cheese land. It hauls six tractors with about 12 inches of space down the middle. E track on the floor, strap down 2 tires on each tractor except the front 2. Pulling it with a 2018 Silverado 5.3 with air bags and onboard compressor. Hauls it pretty well fully loaded, usually about 65 mph. Gonna wire it up this year for a generator to run portable AC and C pap machine. I have Velcro screens for both doors and usually sleep with both doors open all night. We sleep on cots, looking to put in a fold down bed. Plan to pull it out to the Big Show in 2020. Also used to store tractors and attatchments all year round.

7 pointsNope, don’t name mine. Well, except a few. Most all of them. Putt Putt, my beloved 502. I’m not sure how we came up with the name, but it fits. Then came along Rylee’s tractor, Screamin’ Jimmy. If you’ve ever seen or heard of a Detroit Diesel, you’ll know the term. That Commando 800 had a slight governor adjustment issue and it would fly off the handle right quick. It’s also got a tuff additude. Rylee says “Jada’s tractor is all nice and pretty, mine’s screaming GET OUT OF THE WAY!” The rear wheels I believe were mounted backwards when I picked it up from @12 hp Kohler Robbie. We spun them around and added C-101 front spindles to widen it up a bit. We wanted to put a more square nosed hood on it, then Rylee found the blue flames and skulls hood and knew that was the one. Next, “The polished Turd” my 656. I asked @stevebo to show me how to wet sand and buff old sheet metal. When we were done, I said something along the lines of “You really can polish a turd,” and it stuck. Now if you could only find the diamond in the rough on the operator... Also scored at the big show of 2018, “Barney Fife” Jada’s 857. It was coined a “barn find” and I picked it up for a hundred bucks. Other than a battery and a set of points, I don’t think I’ve ever done anything to it. Maybe oil changes and fuel lines out of habit, but no work was needed to fire it up! I do recall giving it some love with WD-40 and some fine paper, but it was to see what it does compared to soapy water. It’s on the right side of the picture, this was one of the first days they were both running last year. I love the smiles on those kids’ faces! Then there’s “Big Junky” the 10 horse 1276. It is big, strong and runs like a top, but everything is cobbled and worn out. To stay true to his name, we put the original painted up ugly lights hood back on him. There’s the 552 kind of roller big project that came with a snowblower Tecumseh engine not bolted down and a locked up transmission. It had a cool 1” black pipe stack in the for sale ad, but was MIA when we got there to pick it up, but it was dubbed “Poppy” because I can already hear it being all loud and obnoxious... but cute in the same way. We grabbed this Commando 6 for a song, I think 80 bucks and a couple hours driving each way. It received a worn out Kohler carb and runs great now. It never had a name until I left Mrs. @pullstart at camp with @WHX24 and @Rp.wh in Portage and somehow they figured it was just too plain Jane. Here is “Jane.” I can’t ever, ever forget “Frank!” The girls and I decided we should make Mommy a tractor that looks like Putt Putt but is bigger, stronger and faster. We mixed up a Charger 12 chassis, 10 horse Kohler out of a C-101, lots of work, custom parts, modifications and plenty of blood and sweat, then topped it off with 753 skins and a whole bunch of clear coat. Hot Wheels was picked up from Richard, @953 nut at this year’s big show. It’s a 953 show cruiser that he built a few years back. It’s got awesome flames and a big Harley Davidson chrome stack muffler. We’ve had 3-4 year olds drive it, all the way up to 6’4” friends. I’m amazed how easy it is for big and small to operate safely. The little guy was in low range and I walked with him to coach his steering and run the clutch. Don’t let all the cool and shiney fool you though, Hot Wheels is a tough worker too! What’s left? At the J&C Plow Day @stevasaurus reminded me how he disagrees with tractor names. They have model numbers. That’s their name. Well this C-81 needed a name. It was dubbed “Steve” for obvious reasons! Because it doesn’t have socks on of course! The other day we through hard work and thought came up with Filly for Rylee’s 1076. She bought it herself this spring and it’s a good running tractor!

6 pointsLooks to a real nice original and the back is not even busted up! Evidently the PO did not know about tripping it then backing up to dump. I've got two of them, one for beating up and a nice one for tub rides!
-
6 pointsput a long bolt up through the trailer hitch, and slid the flag pole down over it.

5 pointsMine is a 7x14. Pulls great, the Chevy and the Ford both like it. I haven’t tried to see how many tractors I could get in it but I have put two side by side. I think I could get 4 regular sized in it comfortably. Gt14, and other big wheels, not sure. I lined it with E- track on the floor, one row 24” off the floor. Eventually it will get another row 48” off the floor on each side. Also put a shelf in the front that is removable. One day will have cabinets, removable beds, and hopefully A/C.
-
5 pointsNo !! I have trouble remembering my own name. Hey, how did I get this big type??
-
5 pointsJust some performance upgrades for more hp and rpm. Also to make it stronger and solve weak links. This one will be turning way more then stock rpms

3 pointsI'm a licensed vehicle safety and emissions inspector in his state, and that part is 150% BS. There are no rules on the books in our state against using E0 in an on-road vehicle. Should his county or municipality have such a law on the books a lawsuit needs to be filed as it would violate the state's preemption laws. I actually find many parts of this thread to be dubious at best. While Alleghany County does have extra gas taxes I can find no record of a 60% tax on off-road, or non-E fuels. Next, octane is a rating of a fuel's resistance to ignition, so removing octane won't make gas harder to burn.

3 pointsSome decals added today. Still have to paint the wheel horse on the front white. Also a photo of the flared side.

3 pointsMost of the Horse's in my herd only go by their ear tag number, but I did name the one that I built last winter. With the edition of a German diesel engine I wanted to give it a German name. After some thought I decided to let Google translator help me out Wheel = Rad and Horse = Pferd. Took these two names added them together to get "Radpferd" Just to show that he's not just another pretty face. Not only does he work hard, he sips very little fuel in the process.

2 pointsWhat a great band these guys are. Good Jammin music!! This is the kind of music I like to play!
-
2 points#79350 will fit long and short frame tractors. 520 with forward swept axle will require a frame extension kit. The blade angle lever may need to be modified to clear the foot rests on some tractors. A under axle bracket is required. OOPs, Garry has all the info.

2 pointsWelcome to the club of weirdos, most of mine do have a name. It makes referencing them easer. They may be named after a previous owner, location or just simply based on personality. At the end of the day it's a lot of names to remember. This one here is Whiny. The PO was always whining about something, and still is.

2 pointsThis engine was on a load of scrap, it had been laying in the weather for many years and was firmly seized. What caught my eye is the timing mark is one tooth out
