17 pointsI always hear about the "Other Guy" getting a great BARN FIND. Well today was MY lucky day A guy I work with sent me a picture of a Wheel Horse that was in his uncles barn. It was really hard to tell what it was other than a tractor. The picture was totally BROWN from the years of dirt. He did uncover the ID Tag.....It is a 1994 416-8 He wanted to know if I would be interested? Right!!!! Got it home, sprayed it with cleaner then turned on the water (it was RED underneath the brown) A new battery, a new fuel line and filter. Filled it with gas and checked the oil And then..........Mowed the front yard $400 so what do ya think??

15 pointsFor all support members who unfortunately can not make the big show this year. Starting now through Saturday the support member discount is increased to match show prices on most items at redoyourhorse.com So if you are in need of decals for a project this would be a good time to order. Sorry you can not make it but thank you all for your support of the World Famous RedSquare Wheel horse Forum. Thanks Vinylguy

13 pointsBeen looking for a loader for a few years now. They're hard to come by up here ......... Final found one. Waiting for confirmation that it's mine........ Fingers are crossed Oh ya........ it come with a 1054 attached.
-
12 pointsMe! Here’s to all who can’t make it...and to those who will as well... Cheers!

10 pointsRecently picked up this little guy for fifty bucks. I have decided to do a ground up custom restoration job on it. Plans include larger wheels. Rounded rear fender. Older rounded metal seat. Custom metal cast red candy paint job with ivory details. I drove over the road. So the progress will be slow. But here's hoping to enjoy it next year with my grandson. Thanks

9 pointsLoaded up my 753 last night to take to work with me and fix a tire...the guys at work are always ribbing me about my little red tractors, but before loading it up to come home Heath talked me into letting him take it for a ride around the driveway. Had a heck of a time getting him off of it so I we could all go home, now he keeps bugging me to sell him one out of my herd, think I may have got him hooked.

8 pointsWell I’m settled in here in Idaho. i have to live vicariously through others to get Big Show updates this year. Here is the new Horse habitat. And previous owner basically stopped taking care of it a couple months ago. So I had to put the horse to work cutting grass that was over a foot high and thick! But there is a reason I love this C160 with 48 inch deck. It made it easy peasy.

6 pointsI am just happy the Missus lets me go every other year so 2020 is when the really good guys like EB & Ritchie & Oliie will hopefully be there. Nobody would miss you anyway! Told ya ya shoulda got a metal roof Jimbo ! Least it was a honorable injury Hank. Thank you Terry, I was gonna have The Dino grab me a few things off your table but he already has stuff to deliver for other fellas and having him bring me back some decals would really mess him up! Here you go Jason this will make you feel better. I got seat time on one and now I know why your hooked on them!

6 pointsThat trailer won't be big enough. Trina and I had been discussing it earlier this year. We had already decided we had a little too much going on this year and really should stay home ... Then in February we had a major oil spill in the basement. Needless to say that was put to the front and everything else was on hold for about 6 weeks. We're really thinking 2020 ........

5 pointsGood thing you’re not traveling with me @pullstart - I can’t hardly pass a rest area😀. My bladder doesn’t enjoy the intake of caffeine my body thinks it needs😂🤣😂! We just stopped and will be in around 4:00😁.
-
5 pointsI’ll be following your progress on this one. I’m just finishing up a Ranger for my grandsons. Good luck with it.

5 pointsA few? What you been smoking Dan? This is Kev we’re talking about. He could bring home half of everything that’s for sale with that rig!!!
-
5 pointsSafe travels Kevin. Wish I could say I'd see you there. The Rig looks great BTW. Plenty of room yet to bring a few 's back home with you.
-
5 pointsHot dogs Craig? I guess we need to send @Achto out there to chef a meal! We usually get a little too extravagant or our M&Gs on the food but when you drink as much as we do you need some good chow to wash it down with! Tools Bill... make sure your have at least the basics.... one of the biggest kicks we get out of our shindigs is wrenching with our bros. . Just to get a minor problem fixed or getting an old 301 running is alot of fun. Maybe have an old non runner just for fellas to play around with. Tom @Shynon and I trying to fix a lift cable... @Achto grinding on a bit too tight Brinley hitch.... Mike @prondzy doing who hell knows what ! A line full of crock pot goodness ...many thanks to the Mrs here....

4 pointsto Beautiful area down there in Western Massachusetts. I'd vote for the C160 as well. Parts availability is better and they're easier to repair and maintain. I may be a bit partial... Cinnamon Horse is a C-160.
-
4 pointsI would probably chose the C-160 myself. I like the looks better and more parts available. Randy

4 pointsTraveling with 3 women (who I love dearly!).... ETA is currently 95 miles, 4:12. I saw we had another rest stop in 35 miles, that ETA is subject to change

4 pointsI love Franken-horses! My 656 has a Honda motor, my 657 has a Kohler Magnum 8, my GT1600 WorkHorse has a Kohler Magnum 10 and last but not least my C-105 has been fitted with Kohler 241 replacement short block. My Commando-8 has the original Kohler K181...it’s my oddball tractor !! I say we need to do whatever is necessary to keep em rolling.
-
4 pointsRight at 13mpg right now. We’ve stopped for gas and food in Raphine, VA. Half way there😁!
-
4 pointsThat's the plan! Any time i go to any kind of a swap meet I generally show up with an empty trailer and by the end of the second day it's usually full of stuff. Then I get it all home and have to figure out where to put all of it LOL.
-
4 pointsMy neighbor across the street does not have any Horses, but he seems to be impressed with mine. He told me that the guys at his shop were talking up their green tractors. He started bragging up mine - saying how old it was and how well it was still running, and how he doubted their green tractors would be able to do the same when they reach the same age. Almost like he is trying to convert them....
-
4 pointsThat a great looking setup. A loader on a 1054 or Gt 14 would be my idea of perfect.
-
4 pointsI had plans to go and a hotel room booked. This past weekend I decided it wasn't a good time to be away from home for a week due to some elderly family members health issues I need to continue to help with. So, I'm banking on next year! Big Show 2020 or bust!

3 pointsAll you cool cats getting to the show early...meanwhile I’m still home washing my tow rig !!

3 pointsWeather men have been overly pessimistic about the rain forecasts lately. I'm a hour east of The BIg Show, and have very little rain. Was supposed to rain most of day Tuesday and today, but we only had a few drops last evening. Has been partly cloudy and very humid, but today has been bright sun all day with just a few clouds. I was able to paint some parts and have them bake in the hot sun. Bring both sun screen and rain gear just in case, but I think rumors of rain have been greatly exaggerated. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be clear and less humid. You know you'll be sorry if you don't show. Jim

3 pointsSo the plow and axle bracket are worth at least $200, the weights are $75, the 4 link chains are worth $25 and the trailer maybe $50 (not sure about it being a WH trailer). There’s $350 right there, so if it runs good and shifts thru the gears (and hi/low range) and the tires aren’t shot it’s worth asking price. Of course if the price isn’t firm make an offer, less $$$ is always nice, but expect to pay $400 plus. Just my opinion
-
3 pointsBring a couple of those beers back for Portage! Better yet send Dino on a mission from God and he'll get a whole case!
-
3 pointsOne of these days I'm gonna build one on purpose just to use up some parts just laying around! This always seems to fit this subject....
-
3 pointsIt really surprises me what a little K181 on my 876 can do! I sold my old parts truck today and pulled it out to where the tow truck can access it easier. I didn't need to but an excuse for more seat time!
-
3 pointsId like to go, but i spent all my extra cash on the WH! I wonder how long it would take to ride the old Horse to the show from MO.
-
3 pointsOK Eb, we need to hold each other to meet at the 2020 show. @ZXT and @Professor1990 Maybe we'll just fill a truck up from the good ol' South!
-
3 pointsTime to save for 2020! I like your ways of thinking.... hauling home full of tractors!
-

-
3 pointsYep, but there’s only a 75% chance now of being able to stay at a Walmart I guess.... The truck is riding like a dream, I have been trying to stay between 65-70, but sometimes find us cruising 75+!
-
3 pointsI would like to make one but with my health and the distance I can't make it. I would like to meet the guys on red square/
