Yea I've been fairly busy! I had 3 finals within two days and now its break, so I've taking it easy. As soon as I get the wheel horse up to the school I will be tearing into her. I'll order parts and use the wait time to get the rear end lowered a little bit and maybe lay some paint in a few places. Still haven't decided if I want a new paint scheme yet or just do the frame in flat black. I will also be getting a few things hydro dipped in brushed aluminum.

I spray my gravel driveway and parking with grass and weed killer so it stays nice and white and compacted. I pretend its cement but have to do lots of rock raking in the spring. Haven't used the snow blower on it yet so all the windows in the trucks and house are still intact.

Thanks . I've been picking your brains on here for a while but decided to join and share. First tractor was a gift to my daughter from father in law and since a herd has followed us home. Mostly my past has been amc sand draggin in Lisbon Ohio. This dual tractor I just got from older friend. He's sadly unable to continue due to health. I'm hoping to grab all o can from his collection to help preserve . And my 11 year old girl and her girl cousins love this hobby. I'm just gettin started on this project and definatly want to go to big show. The engines are Colt mfg. 2a016 111 2 cyl multi fuel 16 ci.

Steve, thank you for starting this thread. I too want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas on behalf of the staff here at RedSquare. Christmas is about family and friends, and this community is both. As we all celebrate please remember those who can't be home with their families, those recovering from injury and for those who have lost loved ones this year. This is a wonderful and loving community, the least of which is the technical forum itself, it's all about the people, so Merry Christmas to all my friends and family here!

Thanks everyone for your input on my post. I hope every one is going to have a great Christmas. Just to keep every body up to date, I found a pair of rims for a good price for me to "experiment" with. I pick them up on Thursday so I'll try to start making my photo journal starting on Monday, Dec. 28th. I sure hope all goes well with this so I can help out you guys that are interested and maybe make a few bucks. Although, I will say this now, I will be charging an exchange. The Gales of November did not come early...we are not done yet. I am really thinking about getting the boat out. Salmon, Trout, Small Mouth Bass, Jumbo Perch...we would get some of this bounty from shore during a cold winter...might be fun casting for them. Don't know...this is new.

I have never seen a single stage XI snow blower, but if it is anything like the two stage, it would be impossible to even convert. The PTO pulley on an XI is on the front of the engine, not on the side.

Picked up an old rusted D blade, every moving part was stuck, but after 2 days of heat and PB blast, well here it is. nite mirror over. and of course Nugget our garage cat .

Where's the snow? So long as it isn't here I'm happy! I'm getting so many things done around the house because there has been no snow and its been real warm.. A white Christmas would be nice but that usually only happens on the Lifetime channel my wife always watches...

I use Harbor Freight dollies that I add a frame of 1x6 and 2x4 lumber to hold the deck. This a 5xi 48" deck. I slip it on the dolly frame to the deck, and then lift up.
