2 pointsI have my Wheel Horse C-120 ready for my first competition pull this Saturday at the Dover Old Tyme Days (PA) tractor show. You may remember a previous post by Big Jake who built this pulling tractor over a year ago. I bought it from Big Jake earlier this year. Getting excited to find out what she can do.

1 pointTest run, blew the manifold gasket at the end or he'd have made a full pull, still did 278ft, topped out at 17.8mph. Fix and repair LOL https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=707379185955056

1 pointMy 7 year old Grandson came over Wednesday. He brought a tractor key with him that I gave him a couple of months ago. When I got home from work he ambushed me and showed me his keyring with the tractor key I gave him on it. He said he wanted to ride some tractors, so lets get going Papaw! I said ok and I don't think I even made it into the house yet! I opened up the garage and let the fun begin. He hopped on his favorite WH, my 654. We hit the tall grass in the back 40 and we "found" these crop circles! I said we need to take some pictures of them and send them to a science magazine! He ran to the garage and got out my metal detector to check them for radiation, he said! Hehe! Quite the imagination on that boy! It was a fun time for us both! KJ

1 pointAfter boring everybody to death with my incessant posts about wanting a tiller bracket, guess what? i finally have one :woohoo: :woohoo: Thanks to the marvelous Dennis and to all on both sides of the pond who gave me help, especially Rick. No thanks whatever to Mr Turpin and his sales manager, A. Robin B'stard at T.O.R.O. I am at the moment emailing a US website, Vbelts4less.com to get prices for the belt which look incredibly cheaper than the oem, they do their own replacement belt for $8.59 + tax & shipping and ship to the UK. If they're cheap enough, i'll have two so maybe i'll soon be up and running Thank you

1 point...or go into the store (header at the top of this page)...try the 6 month supporter pkg for $12.00. You can then upload picts into your posts, directly from your computer with none of those resizing hassles. This feature alone is well worth the nominal fee if you plan on taking good care of the new you just picked up. Pictures do speak a thousand words.

1 pointOne: drill out to accept tapping for 7/16-20 cap screws 1 1/2" or 1 /1/4" length for studs and get 6> 7/16-20 Chevy lug nuts. Lug nuts are bigger than head on standard 7/16-20 WH lug bolts and the LR, I believe is 3/8" (like 66 LR) unless it was previously upgraded or manufactured that way. That should take care of hole disparity unless bigger "wallow" on wheel. Then you'd need to consider 1/2-20. This is an although filthy example of the 5 lug with 7/16-20, 1 1/2' cap screws with washers on back. Don't necessarily need lock washer, I initially put them on, and decided needed more length so took em back off. That's be a lot less costly than more wheels, I'd guess. Before get chastised: Yes, it's my dirty worker, shameful and I know axel is outset too far, prob addressed on another post!

1 pointyup to get the belt on the pulley on the blower you have to remove the pulley or the 3 bolts that hold the bearing closest to the pulley to allow it between the pulley and housing, that blower was not set up to be used with the old elect. PTO, you will have to modify the arm for the shoot turning rod, by the way the newer tall shoot blowers are nice, you will like it.

1 pointWell as I said and made a prediction a couple years ago It's Going to be fun again Soon as Brady Hoke is the Real Deal and we finally got the right coach at the helm of the Winningest Team in College Football. Three Years of D&%& Rodrigus almost ruined this team now its back on the map and getting highly ranked recruits Like Jabrill Peppers who some say is the next Charles Woodson. http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2013/08/five_michigan_football_commits.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lVDO04zBtw GO BLUE

1 pointHaving to take the driven pulley off to get the belt on is not a bad thing. Most of us can not get the pulley off because it is seized on there with rust. You will never have that problem. Garry

1 pointI don't think you have it mounted correctly to the tractor. Look at this YouTube video. This is how the 79360 blower should be mounted (even though it has a C-195 tractor here). You have to watch to almost the very end to see how the DRIVE BELT is rounted. Just copy / paste this link to YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjBs2e_sW4E

1 pointThis is a great topic. I was at a yard sale a few weeks ago and saw a 416-8 with an Onan on it parked under a deck. The flywheel screen was packed with clippings. I'm lining up Winter projects (since I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt here in mid August in my neck of the woods) and I think I'm going to add belting to the front of the deck to bring the front lip down even with the sides, like my rear discharge decks and my MTD Cub Cadet deck - none of which throw grass out the front of the deck. I'd also like to make a sheet metal shield mounted to the underside of the flywheel screen like the picture I posted earlier in this thread. I know sometimes it seems like when we talk about this grass build-up on the Onans, it seems like we are beating a dead horse (no pun intended... ), but I suspect that every day or week a new owner of these tractors comes online, so it's great conversation and good to keep this issue on the front burner for the new comers IMHO. Thanks! Bill

1 pointI am realy confused now An original 1975 parts list show all 3 D-Series Autos using the 4999 3/4" wheel bearing The spindles list a #5700 1" E-ring retainer. (This may be for the top of the king pin) The flat needle bearing and flat races on the king pin are 1" Parts Tree list a 1" wheel bearing for the wide cleat tire wheels for the same 1975 models. I have 1.000"x1.875"x1.000"? in my notes. The original parts lists may all be wrong for the wheel bearing. Garry
