6 pointsand one gray one...... (one of the red ones is a ring in) was going crazy with no room and much disorganization in my garage of late, so nice day outside, out they all came to make room for a clean up. heres how they looked all lined up..... also since this was the first time id got the c125 out since putting some new shoes on, heres a couple of it....... this tractor drives sweet now with the new tires, nice soft ride, and the steering is nice and easy too..... this one is definitely my favorite at the moment....

3 pointsGot the fuel tank and line cleaned out. This k321 runs sweet!! Took it for a ride around the block ALA Stevasauras. My sidewalks aren't as smooth and my finger got in the way a couple of times. Put it to work later de-thatching and then hooked up the sweeper. Trans did slow down on inclines with a good sweeper load. you could also feel a rumble in the seat. Motion control was hard to move too. Goes like a bat out of hell in reverse. Adjustments and a Mobil 1 trans oil change is next.click on the 2nd link for the "Tour"

3 pointsUPDATE: I heated both the crankshaft and bearings to +/- 150 degrees for several hours. Then I returned them to room temperature and let everything sit over night. I applied a light coating of Teflon lubricant to the journals, and everything went together like butter. So my conclusion is that the problem was mainly due to differences in temperature between the bearings and the crankshaft causing the bearing to contract slightly. Returning everything to normal solved the problem. I have enough movement that I can accurately adjust the end play. Also, if I had just waiting until this morning to start assembly the engine, the problem would not have existed. Sometimes a good nights sleep can solve even the most perplexing problems.

1 pointCan anyone tell me if this is a wheelhorse plow? I aquired this from a friend that bought it at an auction for $30. He bought itnbecause it was cheap and I was interested in it because of the slot hitch connection it has. It appears to never have been used!!! There isnt the slightest ding or knick in any of the blade edges. It measures about 8 inches. Could this possibly be nos? And if it is nos wheelhorse plow... what year is it from and what would could the value be? Thanks Ralph

1 pointYesterday, I had the great pleasure of meeting RedSquare member Big Jake. You all may remember this C-120 puller that Big Jake built last year. This is one real nice looking tractor... pictures do not do justice to actually seeing it in person. Made a deal with Big Jake for it and today it now resides in my garage as it has a new owner. I now have 6 Wheel Horses in my collection with this being my first puller. I know Big Jake hated to let it go, but I assured him it was going to a good home and will be very well taken care of. There are at least 8 pulling sites within a one hour distance from my home and I am hoping to have some fun with this tractor this year learning as much as I can about the garden pulling tractor sport. I can't thank Big Jake enough for some great pulling advice and giving me the opportunity to own his C-120 puller. DaveT

1 pointMy name is Martin and I am a Horse-A-Holic. I need the IH decal specs. It is a red tractor so I can overlook the Brand

1 pointvan those wheels are 12 x 8.5's.... when i lined them all up today, it really started to hit me that maybe i need to slow down a little. no where near enough time to fix all the issues on some of the more neglected ones..... but, sure got some looks from people driving by the house today.....
-
1 pointMike, maybe you should go walk around the block once and make sure it really isn't an internal rumble

1 pointAccording to the information I've gathered the RJ-25 was an option that was available through the 1956 year models. If this is true then the RJ-25 would change respective to the RJ-35.

1 pointGot more time today to hang the fenders. I hope they are not too low. I loaded up the economy tractor for some more weight. I am not sue of the amount of travel on this type of axle? I also got the new electric brake "emergency" set up installed. I just need to connect one more wire and then route the wires proper. I installed the battery set up in the box up front.

1 pointNice looking reel mower you have there. I used to help a neighbor mow his lawn. He had a golf cart and pulled a 5 gang (reel) mower. It really did a great job of cutting the grass, but a cigarette butt or twig would cause a reel to stop and leave a path of uncut grass. Using the golf cart all of the neighborhood kids got an opportunity to ride!

1 pointIt needs fuel and spark to run. Some basic checks for spark are as follows. You can take the plug out and ground it while cranking to observe spark. Also be sure the breaker points are clean by running a small flat file on the point surfaces. Make sure all the electrical connections are good. For fuel checks, just because fuel is getting into the carb does not mean it is getting into the engine. The float needle could be stuck or the carb could be plugged with ethanol remains. If you have spark you can put small amounts of fuel directly down the throat of the carb to see if the engine will fire.

1 pointCleaned up but, I wouldn't paint. List items a new owner should know; i.e.: oil change, air cleaner, mechanical "pointers" for maintenance. I would run a background check on the potential new owner. •Does the new owner have a comfortable clean stall for the Stallion? •Uncluttered shop space for Red's maintenance? •Attendee? Farm shows with Sons? Grandsons? •Enough lawn so everyone can "exercise" the parade Horse? •Cleanliness? Is a potential new owners tool box clean and up to date? •Might the new owner pass the Red Square muster? There must be more but, the above is only my top five items to verify when selling a Great Stallion! Perhaps a potential new parent might be wearing a USMC T-shirt?

1 pointSame here - I made these with parts from McMaster-Carr. Not difficult! Duff

1 pointIt just keeps getting better. Seat, light lens, more finishing of the sheet metal. It would be great to see what you could do with an unlimited budget.
-
1 pointIt's the little touches, like curving the fenders and sides on the three point (cover) that will have Wheel Horse guys in 75 years wondering if this was a factory job.

1 pointAArrgghhh... I just clicked on the "back a page" button on my mouse and lost everything I had triped Let's try again shall we? I should have the battery box built by now, but got a little distracted by making something else!!! The distraction started by scribbling a few lines on a bit of old computer case. Which soon looked like this after a bit of cutting and shaping. It could fit here.. Or maybe set back a bit? This panel was only made just to see how a panel in that place would look, I don't like the way the holes are set out so I probably won't be using it.. It was only when I opened the hood that I realized I needed to make another part of the puzzle before I could work out exactly where the panel could go anyway.. Sooo, Pete started shaping a bit of hard wood.. While I cut out and oval-ish bit of steel. Yep, the wood is to act as a "former" (is that the right word?) to shape the steel around. Lot's and hammering and arm ache later.. And then there were two.. The third part of the puzzle marked out for cutting.. As I don't want the inside to rust all the surface rust was cleaned off before getting a coat of red oxide. Can you guess what it is yet? Some interesting ways were found to hold the steel in place for welding!! Almost there.. If you had not worked it out by now, it's a fuel tank I just need to seam weld it all and add a filler cap and fuel tap.. It's not a perfect shape but nor am I so were well suited I almost forgot!! Here's part 48 of the build video's.. Enjoy.

1 pointI'm really interested in how many of us own multiple tractors for different tasks. So far I'm impressed. I've been bitten by the more than one bug pretty badly and I guess I'm trying to justify buying one or two more. Thanks for all the photos! These really get me motivated with Spring just about here.
